Mike Tenay and Dusty Rhodes open the program.
Tenay, “Dusty, it’s a big night, what will the Ultimate Warrior’s answer be?”
Rhodes, “A better question, Iron Mike, who is Jimmy Hart’s new man?”
Tenay, “We have lots to talk about, we also have wrestling action for you. Dustin Rhodes will be in action, we have a couple wrestlers making their WWA debut, plus we have a special treat. Our main event will be a six man ‘Trios Match’ featuring six stars from ‘Lucha Libre’ in Mexico.”
Rhodes, “Those guys are amazing, hold on to your cowboy hat!”
Tenay, “Let’s go to the ring and see the debut of the Colorado Kid.”
Match #1
The Colorado Kid vs. Killer Brooks
The Kid is from Colorado Springs, and is one of the decorated rookies in the sport. The rugged veteran Brooks will be a good first test. Brooks attacks before the bell. The Kid is in early trouble. He fights back and regains the momentum. The Kid is very sharp, and wins with a rolling reverse. A very good debut.
Winner- The Colorado Kid
Match #2
Tito Santana vs. Bobby Duncum Jr.
Two very talented wrestles go at it. The match is very fast paced. The veteran Santana gains some control. Duncum is frustrated, and goes to his underhanded tactics. Santana fights back. The match is even until Tito hits the flying forearm for the win.
Winner- Tito Santana
Match #3
Billy Jack Haynes w/Woman and Mr. Hughes vs. Dancing Wolf
Haynes remains a very angry man. Tonight he meets the Native American youngster. Haynes uses his strength to control the action. Dancing Wolf fights back. Woman shouts instructions, and Haynes clamps on the full Nelson. Wolf fights it, but he has to submit.
Winner- Billy Jack Haynes
Marc Lowrance is with Dustin Rhodes.
Lowrance, “With me is Dustin Rhodes. Dustin, you are hot on the trail of the Bossman, and the U.S. Title. Many experts feel you will win the title the next time you meet.”
Rhodes, “Well, I believe that too. I just need a match where it’s just him and me, one on one.”
Lowrance, “All the fans would like to see that.”
Match #4
Dustin Rhodes vs. Billy Black
Rhodes takes on the rugged cowboy. Black starts quickly. He goes right after the bigger man. Dustin fights back. The crowd is on the edge of their seats. Rhodes goes for a sleeper, but Black gets to the ropes and referee Scott Dickinson calls for the break. The match picks up in intensity. Rhodes takes over and wins with a bulldog.
Winner- Dustin Rhodes

I.R.S. vs. Charlie Norris
The veteran IRS debuts. He takes the mic from Marc Lowrance.
IRS, “Look at all these California tax cheats. You live in a state with the fairest tax laws in the country, and you still cheat! I’m going to stop that!”l
You can imagine the crowd's reaction to that diatribe. IRS is one of the most skilled men in wrestling and he shows it. He controls the action and wins with the audit.
Winner- I.R.S.
Marc Lowrance is with the Ultimate Warrior.
Lowrance, “With me is the Ultimate Warrior. Last week, Jimmy Hart announced he has a new man coming in. He has issued a challenge for you to wrestle him on ‘Saturday Night Wrestling’. Hart claims this man will change wrestling, do you except the challenge?”
Warrior, “The storm of uncertainty swirls around the WWA, who is Jimmy Hart’s man? Will the Warrior accept the challenge? Hart, you say wrestling is about to change, I agree with you! I accept your challenge, and I’m going to destroy your new man!”
Lowrance, “There you have it. The Ultimate Warrior has accepted Jimmy Hart’s challenge.”
Match #6
The T-Rex Brothers w/Jimmy Hart vs. “Desperado” Joe Gomez and the Avenger
Hart’s team is on the comeback trail. They lost the tag team titles, and are dead set on regaining them. The Barbarian starts with Gomez. The “Desperado” starts fast. He stands up to the big Barbarian. Hart seems worried at ringside. The tide slowly turns, and Hercules tags in. The massive man from Tampa takes over. The Avenger tags in and tries his hand. Hercules is too much, and clamps on the full Nelson for the win.
Winners- The T-Rex Brothers

Lowrance, “Fans, next Saturday night, May 4, the WWA presents ‘Saturday Night Wrestling’. We will be at the beautiful Long Beach Convention Center. Here’s what you will see.
The legendary Hacksaw Jim Duggan makes his WWA debut.
We have a ‘Captain’s Match’. The Gladiator from the World Tag Team Champions, the Intergalactic Warriors, faces Hercules, from the T-Rex Brothers.
Tonight, we found out that the Ultimate Warrior accepted Jimmy Hart’s challenge, and will meet Hart’s new man. Let’s hear from the ‘Mouth of the South’.”
We see Jimmy Hart in an interview area.
Hart, “Ultimate Warrior, you just ended your career. The man I am bringing in is the future of pro wrestling. He is a monster, and you will feel his wrath, you just made the biggest mistake of your life! HAHAHAHA!”
Match #7
“Trios Match”
Psicosis, Rey Misterio Jr. and Heavy Metal vs. Silver Kings and Octagón
The fans are in for a treat. A ‘Trios Match’ is action packed, and fast paced. Hold onto your seats. Silver King and Heavy Metal open the contest. Both men move quickly. In “Trios Matches” when a wrestler goes to the floor, one of his partners may enter without a tag. This happens several times. All six men are in the ring when Rey Misterio Jr. climbs to the top rope and hits a flying bodypress on Silver King II. Referee Billy Silverman counts the fall. What a match!
Winners- Psicosis, Rey Misterio Jr. and Heavy Metal
Mike Tenay and Dusty Rhodes close the program.
Tenay, “Dusty, how was that?”
Rhodes, “They were flying around like birds! The fans loved it! ‘Lucha Libre’ is where it’s at!”
