Mike Tenay and Dusty Rhodes open the program.
Tenay, “Fans, what a night in Denver! We have new tag team champions! Yokozuna still is the world champion, The Bossman is still the U.S. Champion, but barely in both cases. We have a double main event, the Intergalactic Warriors, the new tag team champions, meet the Texas Hangman, and the Bossman meets Jimmy Jack Funk.”
Rhodes, “Iron Mike, what a night! I promise you this, next time Dustin wins the U.S. Title!”
Tenay, “We have a lot of action, so let’s go to the ring and see the star from Mexico.”
Match #1
Konnan vs. Silver King II
Konnan made an impressive debut at “Spring Stampede”. Silver King II is a veteran as well. The early moments go back and forth. Both men get near falls. Konnan begins to take over. Silver King II pulls out all his dirty tricks, but Konnan is too much. He wins with the tequila sunrise.
Winner- Konnan
Match #2
Terry Taylor vs. Billy Black
The veteran Taylor debuts in the WWA. The man from Vero Beach, FL has been successful for a long time. This will be good, Black is very talented. The action is fast and furious. Black can wrestle with anyone. They exchange holds and counter holds. They both lay it on the line, and Taylor wins with a flying forearm. A good debut for the veteran.
Winner- Terry Taylor

Non Title Match
Yokozuna (World Champion) w/Mr. Fuji vs. Tony Falk
The World Champion comes to the ring. He was very fortunate to escape Denver with the title. You know that James J. Dillon is working on a rematch. This match belongs to the world champion. He overwhelms Falk. Tony has no chance, and Yokozuna wins with the banzai drop.
Winner- Yokozuna
Marc Lowrance is with Roddy Piper.
Lowrance, “With me is one of the true ‘icons’ of professional wrestling. Roddy Piper, you beat Greg Valentine, what’s next?”
Piper, “Greg Valentine, you didn’t learn your lesson years ago, and I had to teach you again, maybe this time you’ll remember it. What’s next you ask, next for RP? Next is anyone who wants to get in the ring with me. I was on the sidelines for a long time, now I feel like I’m 18 years old! That contract still has my name on it, and it still has a blank beside it! If you think you’re man enough, sign it!”
Lowrance, “There are a lot of great wrestlers in the WWA, who will be next?”
Match #4
“Rowdy” Roddy Piper vs. “Outlaw” Joel Deaton
This will be a test for the veteran. Piper is cautious. He knows “The Outlaw” is dangerous. Deaton is very aggressive. He goes right after Roddy. The Scot is ready for any fight, and we have a knock down, drag out, brawl. Finally Piper clamps on the sleeper hold, and Deaton is out.
Winner- Roddy Piper
Match #5
The Patriot vs. Wild Bill Irwin
The popular masked man came inches from winning the World Title. There most certainly should be a rematch. The big biker from Minnesota might stand in the way. The match is hard hitting from the start. Neither man takes a step backwards. Irwin tries to rough up the Patriot, but the masked man returns fire. The contest is very even, and exciting. Finally, the Patriot hits the Patriot Missile for the win.
Winner- The Patriot
Marc Lowrance is in the studio.
Lowrance, “Fans, the WWA continues to give you the best in wrestling. ‘Spring Stampede’ was a major success. We will not rest on our laurels. Coming on May 4 we present ‘Saturday Night Wrestling’. At 8:00, on ESPN, we present prime town wrestling. This man will make his WWA debut.”
We see Hacksaw Jim Duggan in an interview area.
Duggan, “Fans, old Hacksaw is coming! The WWA is the fastest growing promotion in the country, and I want to be part of it! There’s people I know there, and they know me. I’m ready for anybody, tough guy! Hoooooooo!”
Lowrance, “Hacksaw in the WWA, that’s an exciting thought. This man also has an announcement.”
We see Jimmy Hart.
Hart, “‘Saturday Night Wrestling’! Hahahaha! This is going to be one of the biggest night in wrestling history, because of me! I will be debuting the future of professional wrestling, a man that must be seen to be believed! You will be in stunned amazement. And I have chosen my man’s first opponent, if he has the guts, Ultimate Warrior we want you! Risk life and limb, and take him on!”
Lowrance, “We have no information on who Hart’s new man is, but I am sure the Ultimate Warrior will not back down. May 4, 8:00 PM, on ESPN, don’t miss this one.”

Non Title Match
The Intergalactic Warriors (World Tag Team Champions) vs. The Texas Hangmen
The laser lights come on and the new Champions come to the ring. The fans have taken to these big men, and they are on top of the tag team world. Big Titan starts with Killer. The Hangmen give up size, but they are tough. There are very few wrestling holds in this one, it’s a fight. Killer is game, but Titan takes over. He tags in the Gladiator, and he continues to punish the masked man. Psycho tags in and tries his hand, but the Gladiator hits the power bomb for the win.
Winners- The Intergalactic Warriors
Marc Lowrance is with Woman, the Bossman, and Mr. Hughes.
Lowrance, “With me is the United States Champion, his manager, and her bodyguard. Woman, your man still has the title, but it took chicanery on your part to help him.”
Woman, “I can’t help it little Dustin is that dumb. Look, Bossman was going to win anyway, I just saved Dustin more of a beating.”
Lowrance, “O.K., There are demands for a rematch.”
Woman, “I don’t think he deserves it, but if he wants to lose again, who are we to stop him.”
Lowrance, “The Bossman takes on Jimmy Jack Funk in our second main event. A lot of people want to see Bossman and Dustin again, and this time, the outcome may be different.”

Non Title Match
The Bossman (United States Champion) w/Woman and Mr. Hughes vs. Jimmy Jack Funk
The Bossman has looked unbeatable, but Funk is just plain old crazy. The bell rings and both men tear into one another. Both men throw rights and lefts. Woman shouts instructions from ringside. Funk holds his own for a time, but the tide turns. Bossman shows why is so feared. He punishes Funk and wins with a Bubba slam.
Winner- The Bossman
Mike Tenay and Dusty Rhodes close the show.
Tenay, “Dusty, the WWA gets hotter and hotter!”
Rhodes, “Iron Mike, it’s like a hot summer night in Texas!”
Tenay, “What about ‘Saturday Night Wrestling’, and Jimmy Hart has a new man.”
Rhodes, “Well, I know two things, Jimmy Hart is a snake in the grass, and the Ultimate Warrior won’t back down from a fight.”
Tenay, “Join us, next week, for some answers.”
