“Trios Match”
Rey Misterio Jr., Psicosis, and Heavy Metal vs. Silver Kings and Octagón
The Denver fans are in for a treat. “Trios Matches” are a staple in Mexico. They are fast paced, and unpredictable. Heavy Metal starts with Silver King I. They trade holds and counter holds. Silver King goes to the floor, and Silver King II enters. In Mexico, when a man goes to the floor, one of his partners may enter without a tag. Psicosis tags in for his team. The action gets even hotter. It ends up with Misterio and Octagon in the ring. Rey lands a moonsault for the win. The Denver fans seem excited by what they’ve seen.

Dark Match #2
Tito Santana vs. Bobby Duncum Jr.
This will be a good one. Both men trade holds and counter holds. The second generation Duncum is very sharp. He has Tito in trouble, but the fans get behind him and he rallies. The pace of the match increases. Both men have their chances, but Santana hits the flying forearm for the win.

Mike Tenay and Dusty Rhodes open the show.
Tenay, “Welcome to ‘Spring Stampede’! Dusty, the WWA puts on great pay per views, and this will be another one!”
Rhodes, “Iron Mike, the best in wrestling are here tonight, in public, if you wiiiiil!”
Tenay, “Four titles will be on the line tonight, plus some true grudge matches. Let’s not waste any more time and get started!”
Match #1
Sam Houston w/Baby Doll vs. Billy Black
Two very good athletes open the show. They both move quickly, and the crowd is on the edge of their seats. Black tries to rough up Sam, but he’s ready for it. The match goes back and forth until Houston hits a bulldog for the win.
Winner- Sam Houston
Match #2
Billy Jack Haynes w/Woman vs. Jimmy Snuka
An angry Billy Jack Haynes has arrived in the WWA. He takes the mic from Marc Lowrance.
Haynes, ”Snuka, you’re one of the ones who held me back! I’m getting my revenge tonight!”
Haynes throws down the mic, and attacks Snuka. He hammers away at Jimmy. Woman shouts encouragement from ringside. Jimmy starts to fight back. The crowd gets behind him, and he rallies. It doesn’t last long. Haynes recovers and clamps on the full Nelson. Snuka submits. The Billy Jack revenge tour is in full gear.
Winner- Billy Jack Haynes
We see Mike Tenay in the studio.
Tenay, “Fans, you are in for a treat tonight. Wrestling in Mexico, or ‘Lucha Libre’, is almost a religion. One of the top stars from Mexico is in action later. Konnan is the top star in Mexico today. You will see him against one of the ‘Rudos’, rulebreakers, the Black Cat. In the coming weeks we will talk more about wrestling in Mexico, but for tonight, enjoy Konnan vs. the Black Cat.”
Match #3
Konnan vs. The Black Cat
Konnan is one of the most popular wrestlers in Mexico. He comes to the US to show a new audience. The Black Cat is a “Rudo”, one who breaks the rules. Referee Billy Silverman calls for the bell. We are underway. Konnan is very sharp. The Black Cat counters with illegal tactics. The match is close, but Konnan wins with the Tequila sunrise. The Denver crowd is very impressed.
Winner- Konnan

Non Title Match
The Simpson Brothers and Koko B. Ware vs. Bruise Brothers and Brian Lee (Western States Six Man Tag Team Champions)
The new champions have been very impressive. They are three powerful men. The Simpsons and Koko will be a good test. Steve starts for the Simpsons, and Ron Harris for his team. Steve uses his quickness to keep Ron on the defensive. Shaun tags in and goes right after Harris. The Bruise Brother uses his size to take over. He tags in Brian Lee. “Prime Time” goes to work. He punishes Shaun. Koko and Don Harris end up in the ring. Don uses a powerslam for the win.
Winners- The Bruise Brothers and Brian Lee
Match #5.
The Ultimate Warrior vs. Krusher Khruchev w/Ivan Koloff
The popular Warrior has been battling all three Russians, and doing very well for himself. Tonight he faces the turncoat Kruschev. The match starts quickly. Both men begin to brawl. Things go the Warrior’s way until Ivan distracts him, and allows Kruschev to get in a few cheap shots. Things go back the Warrior’s way. Koloff is on the apron. Warrior whips Krusher into Ivan, and Ivan falls to the floor. Kruschev comes off the ropes, and the Warrior press slams him, and hits the big splash for the win.
Winner- The Ultimate Warrior
We see Hacksaw Jim Duggan in an interview area.
Duggan, “Hoooooooo! Tough guy! Old Hacksaw here, and I’m coming to the WWA. I see a lot people I know, some friends, some not so friendly. Old Hacksaw promises one thing, when I get there, I’m wrestling for the fans, and you’ll get your money’s worth! Hoooooooo!”
Marc Lowrance is with Roddy Piper.
Lowrance, “With me is wrestling icon Roddy Piper. Mr. Piper, you face Greg ‘The Hammer’ Valentine tonight. You two go back a long way. You almost ended each other’s careers in a dog collar match. Have you made a mistake taking on Valentine this early in your comeback?”
Piper, “Mistake? Mistake you say? RP don’t make no mistakes! I signed an open contract, Greg Valentine wanted some of me, well he’s getting some of me! You know me, I don’t wrestle, I fight! That’s what I’m doing tonight, and Valentine, I taught you a lesson before, I’m gonna do it again!”
We see Greg Valentine in an interview area.
Valentine, “When they told me you got back on the ring, I said get me Piper! I didn’t think it would be this easy. Piper, I should have ended your career a long time ago, tonight I will!”
Match #6
“Rowdy” Roddy Piper vs. Greg “The Hammer” Valentine
Two legends go at it. The match starts slowly. Both men know one mistake can cost them. Piper gets the early edge, but Valentine fights back. The pace increases and we have a brawl. Greg punishes Piper, but Roddy gives as good as he gets. Piper rolls up Valentine, and grabs the tights. Referee James Beard counts 1…2…3! Piper wins. As Roddy celebrates, Valentine attacks him from behind. Piper is ready, and fights back. He pounds away at Valentine, and tosses him over the top rope. Greg high tails it to the back.
Winner- Roddy Piper
We see shots of the Pacific Northwest. A voiceover comes on, and the scene switches to summer activities.
July 20, the WWA presents “The Summer Spectacular"! We will be at the Tacoma Dome, stay tuned for more information.
Match #7
Western States Championship
Big John Hawk (Champion) vs. Kevin Von Erich
The Western States Title is one of the hottest new titles in the sport. Hawk has been very impressive since winning the title, but Kevin Von Erich has been hot on his trail. Kevin would like one last run as a champion. The bell rings and we are underway. Kevin uses his speed, and quickness, to keep Hawk off balance. Hawk traps Kevin in the corner. He dishes out punishment. Kevin fights his way out of the corner. We have a brawl on our hands. Things begin to go Kevin’s way. He clamps on the iron claw. Hawk fights his way to the ropes, and Chad Patton calls for the break. The match continues, and Kevin looks very good. He traps Hawk in the corner. Patton backs Kevin away. Hawk reaches into his tights and pulls out an object. Patton doesn’t see this, and Hawk decks Kevin. He covers him and takes the fall. This is a miscarriage of justice!
Winner- Big John Hawk
Marc Lowrance is with Woman and the Bossman.
Lowrance, “With me is the United States Champion, and his manager. Woman, Dustin Rhodes seems ready for the Bossman.”
Woman, “Oh Marc, will you never listen. I feel sorry for poor little Dustin. His Dad has pushed him into this. Everyone knows he can’t beat my man, so now we have to prove it.”
Lowrance, “Most people think differently, but we will see. Now let’s go to a special interview.”
We see Dusty and Dustin Rhodes.
Dusty, “This is my favorite interview of all time, my guest is…my son Dustin!”
Dustin, “Dad, it’s great to be here.”
Dusty, “You have your chance to take the U.S. Title. I held it, and it’s prestigious. You’re going to win, but keep an eye on that old Devil Woman!”
Dustin, “I’m ready, I won’t let you down!”
The two embrace.
Match #8
United States Championship
The Bossman (Champion) w/Woman and Mr. Hughes vs. Dustin Rhodes
The crowd has been waiting for this one. Woman puts the badmouth on Dustin. The youngster is focused, she won’t get to him. Rhodes will have to keep an eye on the giant Mr. Hughes. Referee Chad Patton calls for the bell. Rhodes starts quickly. He has the Bossman in retreat. The crowd is solidly behind the Texan. Rhodes whips the Bossman into the ropes and clamps on the sleeper. Bossman fights to the ropes and the hold is broken. Woman shouts instructions to Bossman. He picks up the aggressiveness. Now Dustin is in trouble. Bossman dishes out punishment. The crowd gets behind Dustin and he rallies. He has the Bossman in retreat. Rhodes whips Bossman into the corner, but Patton is in the way and he goes down. Woman sees her chance. She climbs up on the ring apron. This distracts Rhodes, and Woman sprays perfume in his face. Rhodes is stunned. Bossman rolls him up. Patton has gotten to his feet, and he counts the fall. Woman has outsmarted Dustin.
Winner- The Bossman

World Tag Team Championship
The T-Rex Brothers (Champions) w/Jimmy Hart vs. Intergalactic Warriors
The challengers come to the ring amidst the laser show. Jimmy Hart leads the massive champions to the ring. James Beard will try to referee this one. The match begins with Big Titan and the Barbarian in the ring. They circle one another. Finally, they lock up. The Barbarian wins the first lockup. Titan picks up the pace, and we have a hard hitting contest on our hands. Titan tags in the Gladiator, and he goes to work on the Barbarian. Hart is worried, and is manic at ringside. Hercules tags in, and he fights back, and now the Gladiator is in trouble. All four men end up in the ring. In the confusion, the Gladiator climbs to the second rope. He hits a flying clothesline on Hercules. He covers him, and Beard counts 1…2…3! The Intergalactic Warriors win the tag team titles!
Winners- The Intergalactic Warriors (New World Tag Team Champions)
Marc Lowrance is with Yokozuna and Mr. Fuji.
Lowrance, “With me are Yokozuna and Mr. Fuji. Gentlemen, the Patriot seems to be gaining momentum, many experts think he could take the title from Yokozuna.”
Fuji, “Stupid Americans, look at Yokozuna, look at my monster. Who can beat him, not a weak American. Yokozuna will be champion as long as we choose. No one beats him.”
Lowrance, “Let’s go to Dusty Rhodes and the Patriot.”
We see Rhodes and the Patriot.
Rhodes, “With me is the hottest star in wrestling, Patriot, I’m so proud of you. You haven’t backed down from old Yokozuna, you got guts! Tonight, go out and take the World Title!”
Patriot, “Dusty, you’re an inspiration to me. My goal for my entire career has been to win the World Title, tonight I’m going to do it. Yokozuna, get ready for your worst nightmare!”
Match #10
World Championship
Yokozuna (Champion) w/Mr. Fuji vs. The Patriot
There is a real “Big Fight” atmosphere in the arena. The fans are on the edge of their seats. Billy Silverman is your referee. The bell rings and we are underway. The Patriot is cautious. It won’t be easy to attack the big man. They lock up. Yokozuna tosses the masked man to the mat. The challenger starts to hit and run. This starts to work. Yokozuna is in trouble. Fuji shouts instructions from ringside. Yokozuna is able to trap the Patriot in the corner. The big man pounds away at the masked man. The crowd gets behind the Patriot. He fires back, the momentum swings again. The Patriot lands rights and lefts. Yokozuna staggers. The masked man goes for a body slam. That was a mistake. He can’t get the champion up. Now Yoko has the edge. He works over his opponent. Yokozuna slams the Patriot. He goes to the second rope, and tries the banzai drop. The Patriot rolls away, and Yokozuna crashes to the mat. The match goes back and forth until both men end up brawling on the floor. Silverman’s count reaches ten. Both men are counted out. This isn’t over.
Result- Double Count Out
Mike Tenay and Dusty Rhodes close the show.
Tenay, “Dusty, what a night!”
Rhodes, “Let me tell you one thing! My son will be back! Bossman, you get ready, he’s coming after you!”
Tenay, “Fans, stay tuned to WWA programming, and get ready for ‘The Summer Spectacular”! The WWA gets hotter and hotter!”
