TONY: Welcome to the Joe Louis Arena for SuperBrawl! This could possibly be the greatest night in the history of our sport!
JESSE: No doubt about it! We have the Triangle Match for the World Heavyweight Title! We have a World tag Team Title match that is an absolute dream match!
LARRY: Don’t forget, the return of the Nature Boy and the Enforcer to WCW pay per view! The revelation of Paul Orndorff’s tag team partner! The TV Title and the US Title are both on the line!
JESSE: Even the first match is a big deal! The WCW debut of a man who is a top prospect in the world of wrestling!
TONY: let’s go up to Gary Michael Capetta for the introduction!
Ahmed Johnson vs. Sgt. Buddy Lee Parker: Johnson looks awesome in his debut! He uses his power to throw the State patrol member all around the ring! Parker sells for Ahmed like he’s Superman. Johnson gets the pin after the Pearl River Plunge in 3:44.

JOHNNY: My name is Johnny Smith. I’m from Warrington, England.
FIT: My name is Fit Finlay and I’m from Belfast, Northern Island.
JOHNNY: We’re here in WCW to represent the British Isles with class and style, not to mention great wrestling!
FIT: Sad to say, when you say “United Kingdom” around here, most people think of Lord Steven Regal. Squire Dave Taylor, and that troll, Sir William! The UK wrestling scene is a lot more than that!
JOHNNY: You can call us the UK Express! England, Ireland, Scotland, and Wales are finally going to be represented in a way they deserve to be in WCW! Fit and me think you’ll enjoy what we can do in the ring!
The UK Express vs. Hustler Rip Rogers & Doug Masters: The Express wrestle a hard hitting, aggressive, but clean match in their debut. Smith pins Masters after he and Finlay hit a double missile dropkick. Time: 4:01
WINNERS: THE UK EXPRESS
The Headliners(w/Colonel Robert Parker) vs. the American Males: Bagwell and Riggs start off fast and furious and have Murdoch and Adonis on the run. A mistimed dropkick by Riggs lead to the Hardliners isolating Scotty and beating him pillar to post. The Hardliners work Riggs’ arm and have him in serious trouble, but Scotty refuses to submit! Finally, Commissioner Nick Bockwinkel has seen enough! Bockwinkel comes to ringside and throws in a white towel to stop the match! Time of the fall: 8:47.
WINNERS: THE HARDLINERS
Colonel Robert Paker, fresh off a successful debut for the Hardliners, leads Meng, Bunkhouse Buck, and Mean Mike Enos into the ring. Then, we hear…
Kevin Sullivan leads Maxx Payne and the Tazmaniac to the ring! This should be a war!
Meng, Bunkhouse Buck, & Mean Mike Enos vs. Kevin Sullivan, Maxx Payne, & Tazmaniac: An all out brawl! Referee Kenny Jay barely is able to keep order! The match ends in 10:58 as Meng pins Payne with the Tongan Death Grip! Meng refuses to release the hold! Taz sees his partner in trouble, hits the ring and applies a hold on Meng! Zybysko says that he has seen this hold before while he was on tour in the Orient! It’s called the Katahajime and it is deadly! Taz forces Meng to release the hold on Payne and keeps his hold clamped down until Meng is out! Taz lets Meng drop prone to the mat! Then, taz and Sullivan help Payne leave the arena! Parker scurries into the ring, waving a hankie in Meng’s face, trying to revive him. Parker is yelling that Tazmaniac’s hold was a choke!
WINNERS: MENG, BUNKHOUSE BUCK, & MEAN MIKE ENOS
Sir William leads Lord Steven Regal to the ring for the World TV Title match. The fans boo and jeer his lordship! Then, the music plays and the reaction changes dramatically!
World TV Title match: Johnny B. Badd © vs. Lord Steven Regal (w/ Sir William): The champ starts off fast and Regal keeps rolling out of the ring to consult with Sir William in attempts to break Johnny’s momentum. It finally works and Regal works badd’s left arm for a few minutes. Jesse and Larry agree that Regal is trying to take away Johnny’s southpaw knockout punch. With the fans in Detroit behind him 100%, the champ makes a comeback. It looks like Badd will retain his belt as he goes for the sunset flip off of the top turnbuckle! Regal flails his arms and attempts to regain his balance. As the ref is checking to make sure Badd doesn’t have the tights, Sir William sticks his umbrella into the ring! His lordship grabs the umbrella, rights himself, and drops onto Badd’s shoulders! Regal grabs the ropes for added leverage. One...Two...THREE!!!!
LORD STEVEN REGAL IS THE NEW WCW TELEVISION CHAMPION!!!
JESSE: We’ve finally got a TV Champ with class, guys!
TONY: We’ve got a first class jerk!
The fans go wild as the Nature Boy and the Enforcer arrive!
Now, it’s time to find out who Paul Orndorff’s mystery partner is!
Mr. Wonderful makes his way down the aisle. Behind him, walks a masked man, wearing a robe.
Orndorff and his partner make a big production of entering the ring. Once in the ring, Orndorff removes his robe and flexes one of the most remarkable physiques in wrestling history. Now, it’s time for the big reveal.
Orndorff pulls off the mask! His partner rips off his robe…..THE MYSTER MAN IS…..

“THE TOTAL PACKAGE” LEX LUGAR!!!!!!!!!!!
Flair and Anderson look like somebody just stepped over their respective graves!
“Total Package” Lex Lugar & “Mr. Wonderful” Paul Orndorff vs. “Nature Boy” Ric Flair & Arn Anderson: Flair starts out and Sells like mad for his opponents. Flair looks completely overpowered by his muscular opponents! Flair fights back with chops and technical wrestling. He tags in Arn and Double A is able to brawl with Lugar and Orndorff and keep the match close. Orndorff and Lugar seem out of synch and have several miscues. Finally, at the 9:46 mark, Anderson hits a spinebuster on Orndorff and gets the pin! Flair and Anderson leave, flashing four fingers as they go! Lugar is noticeably angry with Orndorff and yells at him as he slowly gets to his feet! Lugar gets in Orndorff’s face and Mr. Wonderful is yelling right back at him!
LARRY: Guys, I think this is the first and last match for the team of Orndorff and Lugar!
JESS: I’m a big Orndorff fan, but I think Lex has a point! Mr. Wonderful has ruined Lugar’s return to WCW!
WINNERS: RIC FLAIR AND ARN ANDERSON
Hawk and Animal enter the arena on motorcycles in a grand entrance!
The University of Michigan marching band comes down the ramp, followed by the mascot…

WCW World Tag Team Title match: Rick & Scott Steiner © vs. The Road Warriors:
Both teams go nose to nose in the center of the ring as Gary Michael Capetta makes the intros. Randy Anderson attempts to get two men out of the ring, but to no avail! It’s hard to say who throws the first punch, but before you know it, the two most powerful teams in the world are slugging it out! For the next 12 minutes, the fans are treated to power wrestling at its best! The two teams hit almost all of their big moves on each other and score several near falls. It looks like the champions will prevail as Scott gets hawk on his shoulders and Rick goes to the top for the bulldog! The Headliners hit the ring! Murdoch nails Scott in the back with a cowboy boot and hawk tumbles to the mat! Slater bashes Rick with a steel chair and he falls to the mat below!
The nasty Boys are here, too! Sags grabs Hawk’s leg from outside the ring and drags him to the floor! Sags picks hawk up and drops him across the ringside barricade! Knobbs pulls Animal to the floor from behind! Knobbs drives Animal’s head into the ring post and busts him open! The Nastys, cheered on by Luna Vachon, annihilate the Warriors on the floor while the Hardliners annihilate the World Champions in the ring while Colonel Parker slaps the ring apron! When the two heel teams are finished, the Steiners and Road Warriors lie in bloodied heaps! Hawk, Animal, Scott, and Rick slowly manage to climb to their feet and slowly exit the Joe Louis Arena as the fans applaud.
JESSE: I think that this is the beginning of the end for these two teams!
LARRY: The Nasty Boys and the Hardliners sent a message, but I think they woke up a sleeping giant, too!
The challenger in the US Title match enters and looks supremely confident. He enters the ring, bumping and grinding as he removes his road.
The United States Champion makes his entrance. To make it spectacular, he even does the fire breathing routine before coming down the ramp!
US Title Match: Texas Death Rules: Ricky “the Dragon” Steamboat © vs. Ravishing Rick Rude: Rude attacks the champion at the bell, but Steamboat is ready and unloads with a series of chops! Steamboat maintains the advantage with a series of arm drags, followed by a series of flying headscissors. Rude starts bailing out to attempt to slow Steamboat down, but it doesn’t help much. Steamboat scores the first fall at 2:56 with an inside cradle. There’s a 30 second rest period and, naturally, neither man has any trouble beating the ten count and toeing the line. Steamboat continues to maintain his advantage, but Rude counters a flying headscissors by dropping the Dragon throat first across the top rope. Rude follows that with a DDT and gets his first fall at 7:17. Steamboat slowly gets to his feet and beats the ten count.
With each man having scored a fall, the match degenerates into a brawl. This would seem to favor Rude, but Steamboat matches him blow for blow! At the 12:37 mark, Steamboat catches Rude in a backslide for a 1-2-3! Steamboat has captured two falls to Rude’s one, but that isn’t how this match is won! Rude has no problem answering the ten count. Then, they are at it again! The next portion of the match is back and forth with several near falls. Steamboat goes for his patented cross body, but rude pulls referee Randy Anderson into the way of Steamboat and all three men go down! Rude gives Steamboat the Rude awakening neckbreaker and makes the cover! 1-2-3! Rude gets to his feet and pulls the referee up to his feet as well. Randy is warning Rude about Rick putting his hands on the referee! Steamboat is on his stomach and attempting to get up as the rest period ticks away! Wait a second! Sherri Martel has crawled in the ring! She has a pair of handcuffs! She’s dragging Steamboat over to the corner! Rude has Randy Anderson by the shirt and is making sre the ref doesn’t look back at Steamboat! Sherri has Steamboat’s arms on either side of the ringpost! Sheri handcuffs Steamboat to the ringpost! Gary Capetta announces that the rest period is over! Anderson turns and sees Steamboat flat on his face! Her’s the count:

LARRY: Steamboat will have to pull the ringpost out of the floor if he wants to beat the ten count!
10!!!!!! Steamboat can’t answer the ten count!!!! Rick Rude has won the US Title!!! Sherri has the title belt! She fastens the belt around Rude’s waist! Rude and Sherri share a long kiss on the lips!!! RICK RUDE IS THE UNITED STATES CHAMPION AND SHERRI MARTEL’S NEW MAN!!!!!
JESS: Another champion we can be proud of!
TONY: Jesse, only you could be proud of that!
We cut to backstage. Sid Vicious is glaring at the camera.
SID : Tonight, I’ll show the World who’s number 1! Sid Vicious rules the world and that belt will be mine!
Sid enters to pyrotechnics and a mixed reaction, mostly boos.
Next, we Sting backstage. Sting is doing calisthenics and looks like he’s feeling great!
STING: OWWWWWWWWWWWW!!! I feel good! I’m winning that belt for all you little stingers! Get ready to rock!
Sting makes his entrance in the back of a jeep, surrounded by models in bathing suits and doing his patented howl!
Back to the backstage shot. Harley Race is hold the title belt. Vader stands behind him wearing the helmet.
RACE: When this is over, Vader will be the only man standing! He’ll hold this belt as long as he wants to hold it! Nobody, not Sting and not Sid can take it away from him!
Vader and Race enter. At the top of the ramp, Vader removes the helmet and the smoke pours out it’s jets.
Triangle match for the WCW World Title: Vader (w/Harley Race) © vs. Sid Vicious vs. Sting:
True to his interviews leading up to the PPV, Sting goes on the offensive, going after both of his larger opponents. Sting gets the biggest pop of the night with a series of rap[id bodyslams on each opponent. Vader slows the Stinger’s momentum by hitting a vicious German suplex. After that, Vader and Vicious go toe to toe, slugging it out! Eventually, Sting revives and again, goes after both men! Sting whips Vader into the corner! He follows that by whipping Vicious into the same corner! He’s going for the Stinger splash! Sid gets out of the way and only Vader takes the splash! Sting pulls Vader out of the corner and the champ falls onto his back! Sting goes to the top rope! Splash onto the fallen Vader! Vicious stands by and watches as Sting hooks the leg! One...two...THREE!!!! Vader will not retain the title!
Race grabs the World Title belt and tries to leave with it! Commissioner Bockwinkel is back out here and he cuts Race off and grabs the belt away from him!
JESSE: Are you telling me that Vader will lose the belt when he ain’t even in the match anymore, Schiavone?
TONY: Yes, he’s been eliminated!
JESSE: That ain’t right!
LARRY: That’s what he signed up for, Ventura!
Vader yells at Vicious! Evidently, he expected Sid to bail him out! Finally, Bockwinkel gets Vader and Race to leave! Now, it’s down to Vicious and the Stinger!
Sting goes after Vicious with a vengeance. It looks like he will get a quick win as he gets Vicious in position for a Stinger Splash! Vicious moves and Sting goes flying headlong into the ringpost! Sting is bleeding! Sid proceeds to beat Sting from pillar to post for several minutes. Sid finally sets Sting up for the powerbomb! Sting kicks his legs and manages to backdrop his way out of the move! Sting locks up Sid’s legs...SCORPION DEATHLOCK!!!! Sid is using his length to reach for the ropes! Sting realizes what he’s doing and drags Vicious to the center of the ring! Sid is in trouble! The ref calls for the bell! Sid Vicious has submitted!
STING IS YOUR NEW WCW WORLD CHAMPION!!!!!!!
The fan favorites fill the ring to congratulate Stinger(the Steiners and Road Warriors have bandages heads) as Bockwinkel presents the belt to him!!!
TONY: This has to be the greatest night in the history of professional wrestling!
JESS: Vader was robbed, I tell ya! Robbed!

Rude has Randy Anderson by the shirt and is making sre the ref doesn’t look back at Steamboat! Sherri has Steamboat’s arms on either side of the ringpost! Sheri handcuffs Steamboat to the ringpost! We cut to backstage. Sid Vicious is glaring at the camera.
SID : Tonight, I’ll show the World who’s number 1! Sid Vicious rules the world and that belt will be mine!
Sid enters to pyrotechnics and a mixed reaction, mostly boos.
Next, we Sting backstage. Sting is doing calisthenics and looks like he’s feeling great!
STING: OWWWWWWWWWWWW!!! I feel good! I’m winning that belt for all you little stingers! Get ready to rock!
Sting makes his entrance in the back of a jeep, surrounded by models in bathing suits and doing his patented howl!
Back to the backstage shot. Harley Race is hold the title belt. Vader stands behind him wearing the helmet.
RACE: When this is over, Vader will be the only man standing! He’ll hold this belt as long as he wants to hold it! Nobody, not Sting and not Sid can take it away from him!
Vader and Race enter. At the top of the ramp, Vader removes the helmet and the smoke pours out it’s jets.
Triangle match for the WCW World Title: Vader (w/Harley Race) © vs. Sid Vicious vs. Sting:
True to his interviews leading up to the PPV, Sting goes on the offensive, going after both of his larger opponents. Sting gets the biggest pop of the night with a series of rap[id bodyslams on each opponent. Vader slows the Stinger’s momentum by hitting a vicious German suplex. After that, Vader and Vicious go toe to toe, slugging it out! Eventually, Sting revives and again, goes after both men! Sting whips Vader into the corner! He follows that by whipping Vicious into the same corner! He’s going for the Stinger splash! Sid gets out of the way and only Vader takes the splash! Sting pulls Vader out of the corner and the champ falls onto his back! Sting goes to the top rope! Splash onto the fallen Vader! Vicious stands by and watches as Sting hooks the leg! One...two...THREE!!!! Vader will not retain the title!
Race grabs the World Title belt and tries to leave with it! Commissioner Bockwinkel is back out here and he cuts Race off and grabs the belt away from him!
JESSE: Are you telling me that Vader will lose the belt when he ain’t even in the match anymore, Schiavone?
TONY: Yes, he’s been eliminated!
JESSE: That ain’t right!
LARRY: That’s what he signed up for, Ventura!
Vader yells at Vicious! Evidently, he expected Sid to bail him out! Finally, Bockwinkel gets Vader and Race to leave! Now, it’s down to Vicious and the Stinger!
Sting goes after Vicious with a vengeance. It looks like he will get a quick win as he gets Vicious in position for a Stinger Splash! Vicious moves and Sting goes flying headlong into the ringpost! Sting is bleeding! Sid proceeds to beat Sting from pillar to post for several minutes. Sid finally sets Sting up for the powerbomb! Sting kicks his legs and manages to backdrop his way out of the move! Sting locks up Sid’s legs...SCORPION DEATHLOCK!!!! Sid is using his length to reach for the ropes! Sting realizes what he’s doing and drags Vicious to the center of the ring! Sid is in trouble! The ref calls for the bell! Sid Vicious has submitted!
STING IS YOUR NEW WCW WORLD CHAMPION!!!!!!!
The fan favorites fill the ring to congratulate Stinger(the Steiners and Road Warriors have bandages heads) as Bockwinkel presents the belt to him!!!
TONY: This has to be the greatest night in the history of professional wrestling!
JESS: Vader was robbed, I tell ya! Robbed!
