Mike Tenay and Dusty Rhodes open the show.
Tenay, “Welcome to ‘Monday Night Thunder’! Dusty, the WWA is the talk of the wrestling world!”
Rhodes, “Iron Mike, the Dream has been around for a long time, and this is the best action I’ve ever seen.”
Tenay, “Tonight, we have a great main event, the Ultimate Warrior meets a new man brought in by Ivan Koloff. Do you know anything about this Russian Invader?”
Rhodes, “Never heard of him, but if he’s with Koloff, he’s gonna’ cheat.”
Tenay, “We will talk about ‘Spring Stampede”, and Roddy Piper has a big announcement.”
Rhodes, “Let’s get things started, I’m ready!”
Match #1
Joel Deaton vs. Tito Santana
“The Outlaw” takes on the popular man from Mexico. Tito starts fast. He whips Deaton into the ropes and lands a drop kick. He covers him, but Deaton kicks out. Joel goes into his bag of tricks. He roughs up Santana, but Tito fights back. He hits the flying firearm for the win.
Winner- Tito Santana
Match #2
Johnny Ace vs. Wild Bill Irwin
The popular Ace starts fast. He has Irwin in retreat. Bill takes to the floor to regroup. Irwin returns to the ring and starts to rough up Ace. Johnny is the one in trouble now. The match goes back and forth until Bill hits the big boot for the win.
Winner- Wild Bill Irwin
Match #3
The Simpson Brothers vs. Killer Brooks and “Hollywood” John Tatum
The popular brothers from South Africa take on two veterans. Shaun starts with Tatum. The veteran from “Hollywood” starts quickly. He has Shaun in trouble, but the popular youngster fights back. He now has Tatum on the run. Brooks tags in, and gets in a few shots. Steve tags in and takes over. He hits a flying bodypress for the win.
Winners- The Simpson Brothers
Marc Lowrance is seated in the studio.
Lowrance, “Fans, April 13 is fast approaching, and that means ‘Spring Stampede’. The action Emirates from McNicholls Sports Arena in Denver, CO. Tickets are sold out, but contact your local cable provider for Pay per View information. The card is coming together. We have big new tonight. This man will debut in the WWA.”
We see highlights of Mexican wrestler Konan.
Lowrance, “Konan is the biggest star in ‘Lucha Libre’, or professional wrestling south of the border. This man will be in action.”
We see Roddy Piper in the interview area.
Piper, “That's right, we all know RP is back in the ring, but that’s not the entire story. I’m going to be back in the ring in Denver. Who am I going to wrestle?”
Piper holds up a contract.
Piper, “This is a contract with my name on. Beside my name is a blank. Anyone out there want to put their name on it? Have any guts? Get in the ring with me, and let me teach you a lesson!”
Lowrance, “Roddy Piper will be in Denver, who will be his opponent? We can add these matches to what we already know.

The T-Rex Brothers defend against the Intergalactic Warriors
For the Western States Championship
Big John Hawk defends against Kevin Von Erich
And in the main event, for the World Championship
Yokozuna, the champion, takes on the Patriot

Big John Hawk (Western States Champion) vs. Koko B. Ware
The big Texan takes on the high flier from Union City, TN. The bell rings and we are underway. Koko takes to the air, and has Hawk in trouble. He goes for a sleep hold, but Hawk gets to the ropes, and referee Billy Silverman calls for the break. Koko is game, but Hawk is too much. He lands the lariat clothesline for the win.
Winner- Big John Hawk

Non Title Match
The T-Rex Brothers (World Tag Team Champions) w/Jimmy Hart vs. Rex King and Tony Falk
The massive Champions have a date with an equally powerful team at “Spring Stampede”. Hercules and King open the contest. Hart looks very pleased with his team. Hercules overpowers King. Rex is in real trouble. Hercules tags in the Barbarian, and he continues the onslaught. Falk tags in, but he is quickly overpowered. The Barbarian uses a powerslam for the win.
Winners- The T-Rex Brothers
Marc Lowrance is with Mr. Fuji and Yokozuna.
Lowrance, “With me are the World Champion, and his manager. Mr. Fuji, Yokozuna has a date with the Patriot on April 13. Many people believe the masked man can beat your champions.”
Fuji, “Many stupid Americans…very stupid. Yokozuna will destroy anyone in his path. This American is an embarrassment, he is weak like all American wrestlers. We take great pleasure in destroying him.”
Lowrance, “I think you might be underestimating the Patriot.”

Non Title Match
Yokozuna (World Champion) w/Mr. Fuji vs. Brutus Beefcake
Brutus struts around the ring. He seems confident, I’m not sure how that’s going to work. Referee Chad Patton calls for the bell. Yoko uses his size and strength to punish Beefcake. Brutus puts up a good fight, but the Champion is too much. He hits Banzai drop for the win.
Winner- Yokozuna
Marc Lowrance is with the Ultimate Warrior.
Lowrance, “With me is the Ultimate Warrior. Ivan Koloff has brought in a new man, the Russian Invader. Are you ready for this man?”
Warrior, “Koloff, you want the Warrior to give up! That won’t happen! The power of the Warrior Universe is with me, and my Warriors! Russian Invader, your invasion will fail! Koloff, America will rise up and destroy any invader!”
Lowrance, “Our main event is next.”

The Ultimate Warrior vs. The Russian Invader w/Ivan Koloff
The masked Russian is huge. He attacks the Warrior before the bell. He hammers away, and the popular Warrior is in trouble. He fights back. The Warrior uses very few wrestling moves, but he is effective. Warrior has the masked man in trouble. In runs Krusher Khruschev. He attacks the Warrior. Referee Billy Silverman calls for the bell. The Warrior fights off both Russians until Koloff gets his men out of the ring. This one isn’t over.
Winner- Ultimate Warrior (Disqualification)
Mike Tenay and Dusty Rhodes close the show.
Tenay, “Dusty, this isn’t over.”
Rhodes, “Iron Mike, those Russians have it in for the Warrior, but the Warrior is ready for them !”
Tenay, “We are getting closer to ‘Spring Stampede”. Tune in next week for more information. We also have a great six man main event, don’t miss it.”
