The Original Sheik takes on Ken Wayne. Typical Sheik as he uses a foreign object to destroy his opponent and then locks in the camel clutch for the win. After the match, Wayne takes a swing at Sheik and gets a fireball for his trouble. Les Thatcher says that Sheik is a legend, but he’s glad that he’s only making a special appearance and not taking up residence in the UWA! Time of the fall: 5:46.

The World Junior Heavyweight Title match is an instant classic between Champion Jushin Liger and challenger 2 Cold Scorpio. The two men combine mat wrestling and aerial wrestling. Magnum TA and Les Thatcher both claim that they have never seen anything like this! After 30 minutes of brilliance, the bout ends in a draw. Liger and Scorpio shake hands and hug as the fans give them a standing ovation.
We follow the incredible display of athleticism with an all out brawl between Scott Norton and Botswana Beast (w/Sheik Adnan). After 6:12 of fighting, Norton shows his incredible power as he gives the massive beast a shoulderbreaker and gets the duke!
Steve “Dr. Death” Williams took on the behemoth Great Kokina (w/Sheik Adnan). Kokina gained an early advantage and really gave Doc a beating! Williams made an incredible comeback and even got Kokina in position for the Oklahoma Stampede. At this point, Papa Shango appeared in the aisle and used his walking stick to point at his own knee. Incredibly, Dr. Death’s leg seemed to give out on him and he fell under the weight of Kokina! Fortunately, he was able to kick out at two! Lance siad it sounds crazy, but it seems like Pap Shango has placed a curse on Williams! Williams made another remarkable comeback and nailed a series of tackles on Kokina. Kokina went down and Shango and Botswana Beast ran in and attacked Dr. Death! This was an automatic DQ at the 7:35 mark. Scott Norton and Junkyard Dog ran in and helped Dr. Death run off Adnan’s men! Afterwards, Dr. Death demanded a match with Papa Shango and said he was tired of his crap!
New Sensation (w/Baby Doll) defended the World Tag Title against former champions The Fantastics. After 12:22 of fast and furious action, both teams were counted out of the ring during a wild brawl! Magnum TA predicted that, sooner of later, Bobby and Tommy would win their belts back!
In a bloody Texas Bullrope match, Dusty & Dustin Rhodes beat “The Ace” Bob Orton & Dick Slater. Dusty pinned Orton after Dustin KO’d the Ace with a cowbell. After the match, Bonecrusher waylaid Dusty and Dustin . Then, Slater and Orton joined in the attack! Manny Fernandez hit the ring, swinging a chair, to make the save!
“Modern Day Warrior” Kerry Von Erich & Kevin Von Erich took on “Ravishing” Rick Rude & Scott “The Stud” Hall (w/Sir Oliver Humperdink). The Von Erich started fast and furious. The heels managed to gain an advantage and isolated Kevin for several minutes and got heat on the eldest Von Erich. After several hope spots and tags behind referee Tommy Gilberts back, Kevin made the hot tag to Kerry! Kerry came in fist and fire, brawling with both opponents! The turning point came when Kerry threw a discus punch at Hall, but the Stud got out of the way and Kerry accidentally nailed Kevin! Kevin went flying out of the ring and hit the floor...HARD! Kerry was basically fighting 2 against one after that. He did his best, but the odds were too much and Rude pinned him after a neckbreaker at 12:44! After the match, Kerry and Kevin appeared to be having words! Are we seeing a falling out between the Von Erichs?

The lumberjacks do a fairly good job of keeping the competitors in the ring. Things go south when Steve Williams comes out and goes after Papa Shango! Oeron, Slater, and Bonecrusher jump Dustin Rhodes and Manny comes to his aid! This distracts referee David Manning and Mil Mascaras enters the ring and attacks Tito and piledrives him! Mil leaves the ringjust as Manning returns his attention to the match! Landel drops an elbow onto Tito! One! Two! Three! Landel wins in 13:33! And what the heck is wrong with Mil Mascaras?
Wait a sec, Landel gets his robe and he pulls out a roll of bills! He’s giving the money to Mascaras! I can’t believe Mil would pull a stunt like this! Hold on, another Mil Mascaras is coming to the ring area! The second Mil rips the mask off the “first Mil”...IT WAS AL PEREZ!!! Wow, Budro really pulled a fast one here! Tito and Mil are talking. Misawa’s state of the art wrestling style gives the champ all kinds of trouble during the first 15 minutes of the match. Misawa gets a near fall after a missile dropkick and Rotunda rolls to the floor to regroup.
Misawa does a dive over the ropes and to the floor! Misawa flattens Rotunda with that move, but when Misawa gets up, he’s limping! The two grapplers return to the ring and the challenger is obviously favoring his leg. Rotunda zeroes in on the injury and works on it for the rest of the match as Missy cheers from ringside. Misawa fights like a warrior poet, but the injury is his downfall. At the 27:49 mark, Rotunda locks in a modified STF and Misawa has no choice, but to concede the fall. Despite the loss, the Rupp Arena crowd gives Misawa a standing ovation as he leaves the ring.
