THATCHER: (v/o) Earlier today, at UWA Headquarters in downtown Dallas, Cowboy Bill Watts, UWA President had a conference with Undisputed World Champion “Megabucks” Michael Rotunda and Missy Hyatt. Our cameras were present…

Watts, Rotunda, & Hyatt are seated at a conference table in a richly appointed room.
WATTS: Mike, last week, Mitsuharu Misawa made a challenge for the title. (holds up a document) I have here a contract for a championship match to take place on pay per view, Halloween night, Rupp Arena in Lexington, KY, at FRIGHT NIGHT!
ROTUNDA: I dunno, Cowboy. I mean he’s a big deal over in Japan, but who has he beaten in the USA?
MISSY: Ewww, no! The champ shouldn’t have to defend against him! If he wins, he’ll take the belt to Japan and we’ll never see it again! He’ll go back home so he can be with those nasty geisha girls and eat raw fish! YUCK! Gross!
WATTS: Look, if I have to appeal to your ego and professional pride, I’ll do it! Misawa is an international superstar. If Doc had the title, he’d jump at the chance to prove himself against that kind of opponent! People are already saying Steve was a better champion than you’ll ever be and that if Missy hadn’t been involved, he’d still be champion! Here’s your chance to show the world that you’re #1!
Watts slides the contract across the table to Rotunda!
ROTUNDA: I really don’t care what a bunch of trailer park residents think! I know that I’m the best! (pulls out pen and signed contract) The only person that I need to convince that I’m the best is me! Everybody else should realize that by now!(looks at camera) Mitsuharu Misawa, this belt is staying where it belongs!
Rotunda hans the belt to Missy and they leave the conference room!
WATTS: (to camera) Fans, a huge World Title match will take place at FRIGHT NIGHT! Order first thing tomorrow!
LANCE: Yowza! That was a huge announcement!
LES: We’ll see Mitsuharu Misawa in our opening match here tonight on UWA FURY!
MAGNUM: and we have an American Title match: “Nature Boy” Buddy Landel vs. Tito Santana!
LES: Also, Dick Slater and “the Ace” Bob Orton are in PERSONALITY PROFILE! They say they have something to say about their situation with the Rhodes Family!

MITSUHARU MISAWA VS. JOEL DEATON: The man who will face Michael Rotunda at FIGHT NIGHT faces suitable competition in the double tough Deaton. Joel gives a solid effort, but Misawa gets the duke after a Tiger Drive. After the 1-2-3, Misawa plays to the crowd by doing the “belt around the waist” gesture. Les and Magnum both predict we’ll have a new World Champion!

WATTS: If we’re having an event called FRIGHT NIGHT, it’s only appropriate that we have an appearance by the most frightening man to ever appear in a wrestling ring!
We see footage of the original Sheik throwing fire at an opponent!
Les Thatcher is at ringside in the Sportatorium.
LES: There’s never been anybody like the original Sheik and I hope to God that there never is again!

We see a coffin. The lid creaks open and Dr. Death pops up!

Steve Williams vs. Alex Porteau(jip): Papa Shango is standing in the aisle. He’s making no move toward the ring, but he has something in his hand...it’s a doll of some sort! It looks like a Dr. Death doll! Al Perez and Sheik Adnan are out here, too! Perez has a jar in his hand. He takes the lid off the jar. Shango sticks his thumb in the jar. His thumb comes out covered with paint! Shango uses his paint covered thumb to cover the face of the doll with red paint! As Williams hits the Stampede, Magnum wonders if this is related to the offer Perez said Adnan had for World Champion Michael Rotunda last week…..Regardless, Dr. Death gets an impressive win!

SCOTT “FLASH” NORTON VS. BOTSWANA BEAST(W/SHEIK ADNAN): The former World Arm Wrestling Champion faces his toughest test to date. Norton is doing well, but when it looks like he might win, the Headhunters and Adnan jump in to help the Beast! They are delivering a brutal beating to Norton until Dr. Death runs in, chair in hand! Adnan leads his men in a retreat out of the Sportatorium!

DR. DEATH: I don’t know who this Adnan thinks he is! He comes over here to the USA and runs his mouth about how he hates my country! He sticks his name into my business and my friend Scott’s business! I don’t even know what the deal was with Papa Shango and his voodoo crap! It looks like he’s real proud of these guys he calls the Head Hunters! I’ll tell ya, what, you freak, you bring those guys to the Sportatorium next week and Flash and me will take them on!
NORTON: That’s right! Bring it on!
We see Sheik Adnan lead his Headhunters to the ring. These are two big, bulky individuals who move like 20 pounders!
LANCE: OK, I understand Boni has a situation in the dressing room area here at the Sportatorium!
We go back to the dressing rooms. Boni is standing outside a closed door with Scott Norton.
BONI: Wrestling fans, I thought I was going to interview Steve “Dr. Death” Williams and Scott “Flash” Norton before their big tag team match, but Doc isn’t answering his door!
NORTON: I gotta get to the bottom of this!
Scott kicks the door open! Dr. Death is lying on the floor! He is bleeding profusely from a wound on his head! Norton kneels beside him!
NORTON: Steve! Steve! You gonna be ok, Doc?
DR. DEATH: UNGH!
Norton gets up and walks over to Boni…
NORTON: Get some medical attention for him, alright! I...I’ll go and do the best I can!
Norton runs to the ring all alone!
MAGNUM: I don’t like the looks of this, guys!
SCOTT “FLASH” NORTON VS. HEADHUNTERS A & B(W/SHEIK ADNAN): Norton bravely attempts to go it alone, but that’s really too much to expect of any man!The numbers game catches up to Flash and soon, he’s taking a horrific beating from the Headhunters as Adnan cheers them on! Suddenly, there’s a roar from the crowd and Dr. Death runs out, doing the Spirit of ‘76 with a bloody bandage on his head! Williams is up on the apron, reaching for the tag, but Norton is too beat up to tag in, so Williams hits the ring and tears into both Headhunters! Dr. Death is cleaning house! Look out! Adnan is on the apron, gesturing wildly! Here come Kokina and Papa Shango! These numbers are too much for even Dr. Death! Adna’s Army is beating down the faces! Here comes Junkyard Dog and the Ebony Experience! It’s like a battle royal up in there! Here comes Cowboy Bill Watts and he’s leading a group of referees into the ring! They somehow separate the two factions! We’ll go to a break and be right back!

2 COLD SCORPIO VS. DENNY BROWN: Watts remains at ringside and informs the commentary team that at FRIGHT NIGHT, Jushin Liger will defend his World Junior Heavyweight Championship against Scorpio! Watts admit that the high flying stuff isn’t exactly his cup of tea, but it’s rapidly becoming a trademark of the UWA and that the UWA is happy to give the fans things they won’t see anywhere else. Like a special appearance of the Original Sheik, a man who has never been on pay per view! Also, New Sensation will defend the World Tag Team belts against former Champions, the Fantastics! Scorpio looks like he’s ready for a title shot as he gets the duke after a moonsault.

“RAVISHING” RICK RUDE(W/SIR OLIVER HUMPERDINK ) VS. ITALIAN STALLION: Kerry Von Erich joins the broadcast team as a guest analyst. Kerry says he and Kevin are sick of the House of Humperdink and the way that they jump people from behind! Kerry says the way that Boni Blackstone was disrespected a few weeks ago was the last straw! Rude taunts Kerry every chance that he gets and the announcers warn Kerry that he could be subject to fines and suspensions if he enters the ring while serving as a commentator. Rude wins with a neckbreaker and, afterwards, bumps and grinds over the Stallion’s prone body! Von Erich yells that he’ll see Rude at FRIGHT NIGHT!

“MODERN DAY WARRIOR” KERRY VON ERICH & “HIGH FLYING” KEVIN VON ERICH VS. KILLER BROOKS & NIGHTMARE #2: The Von Erichs tune up for their upcoming bout with Rick Rude and Scott Hall by taking on two veteran rulebreakers. The heels give Kerry & Kevin a competitive bout. Kevin pins Nightmare #2 with a high cross body for the win.

Dick Slater and “the Ace” Bob Orton are on record saying that they won’t rest until the name Rhodes is erased from the sport of professional wrestling! Gentlemen, welcome. I understand that you have an announcement for us…
SLATER: Les, last week, you saw Dusty Rhodes attempt to cripple the Ace here! This is a war and sometimes, in a war, you need to call in reinforcements!
ORTON: That’s right, Dickie! We’re bringing in a big gun! This might be the toughest man I’ve ever met! You wrestling fans, you people who love Dusty Rhodes and buy into all of his crap, won’t like it none, but we really couldn’t care less!
SLATER: Ace, we thought that we despised Dusty Rhodes and his snot nosed kid! This guy hates them so much that it scares me!
A masked man in a bodysuit steps behind the three men. He has a wrestler’s build. He folds his arms.
SLATER: This man is called BONECRUSHER! Dusty and Dustin, he wears the mask because he has been kicked out of every wrestling organization that he’s ever competed in for breaking bones and busting heads!

BILLY TRAVIS & MIKE JACKSON: The Undisputed World Champion teams with a member of Adnan’s Army, leading to the announce team to wonder out loud if the situation with Steve Williams earlier was part of a business deal between Rotunda and Adnan. Regardless, the heels are quite impressive as Rotunda finishes Jackson after a Samoan drop.
