The program opens with “Hollywood” John Tatum and referee Chad Patton standing in the ring. We hear,
When it comes crashing down and it hurts inside
Ya' gotta take a stand, it don't help to hide
Well, you hurt my friends and you hurt my pride
I gotta be a man, I can't let it slide
The World Champion hits the ring. Tatum vacates, and Hogan rips off his shirt. John is coaxed back on the ring, and we are underway. Hulk is on top of his game. He is aggressive, and beats Tatum from pillar to post. Johnny gets in a few shots, but Hogan ends with the boot and legdrop. He grabs the mic.
Hogan, “One Man Gang, you big stinky giant, Thanksgiving is coming, and me, and a million Hulkamaniacs are coming to run all over you!”
Winner-Hulk Hogan
Mike Tenay and Dusty Rhodes are in the announce position.
Tenay, “Dusty, it sure looks like the Champion is ready.”
Rhodes, “That’s right Iron Mike, that big old One Man Gang May walk into that cage, but he might be carried out!”
Tenay, “Well, let’s talk about the rest of tonight’s show. We have a great main event, Woman leads the Bossman into action against ‘The Superfly’ Jimmy Snuka, and speaking of Woman, she and Sabu are the guests in Piper’s Pit. We will also talk about ‘Thanksgiving Thunder’, and we will talk about the big show on ESPN on November 18. Let’s go to Marc Lowrance.”
Match #2
Lanny Poffo vs. Gangrel
The veteran Poffo meets the mysterious vampire. Gangrel jumps Lannynbefore the bell. He pounds away, and then begins to bite Lanny’s forehead. Poffo leaves the ring to regroup. He returns, and takes control of the match. Gangrel uses the illegal tactics to hold his own, but Lanny is too much, and he wins with a moonsault.
Winner- Lanny Poffo

B. Brian Blair vs. “Maniac” Mike Davis
The popular Blair takes on the maniac. Davis tries to jump Brain before the bell, but Blair is ready. He lands a few lefts and rights, and Davis is stunned. Brian controls the early action, and the Thunderdome crowd is solidly behind him. Davis is game, but Blair wins with the sleeper.
Winner- B. Brain Blair
Marc Lowrance is with Kevin Von Erich and the Patriot.
Lowrance, “With me are the number one contenders to the World Tag Team Titles. Kevin Von Erich and the Patriot will challenge General Skandor Akbar’s Champions, the T-Rex Brothers at ‘Thanksgiving Thunder’. Gentlemen, you have come very close, but the titles have eluded you.”
Kevin, “Marc, those two monsters luck out every time. They get counted out, Akbar interferes, it’s like when my brothers and I Fought the Freebirds, we could win a fair match every time, but it’s hard to get one.”
Patriot, “Kevin’s right, but we both know professional wrestling is a man’s sport. T-Rex Brothers, the might of America is coming down on you, on Thanksgiving, the American Holiday, Kevin and I are going to beat you, and the fans will have champions they can be proud of!”
Lowrance, “The tag title match will be one for the ages.”
Match #4
The Patriot and Kevin Von Erich vs. Killer Brooks and Wild Bill Irwin
The popular team of Von Erich and the Patriot have been chasing the Champions, but can’t quite gain the titles. The rugged team of Irwin and Brooks will be a test. Kevin starts with Wild Bill. Von Erich uses his quickness advantage, and Irwin tries to rough up Kevin, but he can brawl as well. The action is hard hitting. Kevin tags in the Patriot, and the masked man continues the action. Brooks tags in and the veteran from Waxahachie tries every dirty trick in his bag, but the Patriot is too much. He lands the Patriot missile for the win.
Winners- The Patriot and Kevin Von Erich

Johnny Ace vs. Don Muraco
The popular Ace takes on the veteran from Hawai’i. Ace starts fast and Muraco takes to the floor to slow the pace. Muraco returns to the ring and begins to rough up Ace. Johnny is in trouble. The fans get behind him, and the youngster fires back. Now Johnny is on fire. He takes over and wins with the Ace crusher.
Winner- Johnny Ace
We see the Piper’s Pit set. Roddy Piper walks out.
Piper, “Hello everybody, are you ready to hear the tough questions?”
The crowd goes crazy.
Piper, “Tonight, I’ve got two guests, one of them is wild, and the other one is Sabu.”
Woman and Sabu come out.
Woman, “It sounds like you know me pretty well Piper, who told you I was wild?”
Piper, “It seems like a lot of people know that. Anyway, you’ve got a very interesting stable, but this guy fascinates me, Sabu.”
Woman, “He is suicidal, homocidal, and genecidal, he is Sabu.”
Piper, “Well, Sabu puts his body on the line every night, and it seems you’ve got your eye on Sam Hoston.”
Woman, “I’m always looking for great talent, and Sam is a great talent, but he has one problem.”
Piper, “What’s that?”
Woman, “That fat hog, Baby Doll. Can you imagine looking at that sow every night instead of…WOMAN.”
Piper, “I like Baby Doll, and I think Sam Houston will have a bone to pick with you.”
Woman, “I’m ready for Sam, any time.”

The Bruise Brothers vs. Rex King and Tony Falk
The powerful young Bruise Brothers have been very impressive. They are huge and vicious. Ron starts with King. He pounds away at the game King. Ron tags in his twin brother. He continues the assault. He tosses King into the corner, and Falk tags in. He puts up a good fight, but Don wins with the big boot.
Winners- The Bruise Brothers

Lowrance, “Fans, we are in November, and that means Thanksgiving, and ‘Thanksgiving Thunder’. The WWA will be at the America West Arena in Phoenix, AZ on Thursday night, November 23. Tickets are sold out, but contact your local cable provider for Pay per View information. It’s going to be an exciting night of wrestling action. Here is what you will see.

The Bruise Brothers take on Johnny Ace and Jimmy Snuka
The Simpson Brothers meet Billy Black, and ‘Outlaw’ Joel Deaton
In a grudge match, the Ultimate Warrior meets the big Russian Vladimir Koloff
Dusty Rhodes will present a mystery wrestler
Three titles will be up for grabs.
Big John Hawk will defend the newly won Western States Title
The World Tag Team Titles will be up for grabs as General Skandor Akbar’s champions, the T-Rex Brothers, take on the Patriot and Kevin Von Erich
Then in the big one, the World Title is on the line inside a steel cage as the Champion, Hulk Hogan takes on the massive One Man Gang.
What a night it’s going to be, but the WWA has another big announcement. On Saturday night, November 18, we present ‘Thunder Preview’. Beginning at 8:00 PM on ESPN, you will see 90 minutes of exciting WWA action. Two matches have been signed.
First, in a ‘Captains Match’, the Terminator takes on Kevin Von Erich, both men are taking a big risk with the tag title match only five days away.
And speaking of risks, Hulk Hogan will be in action as he meets Austin Idol. Let’s hear from Jimmy Hart and Idol.”
Hart, “Hulk Hogan! You big dummy! You’re going to get into the ring with the ‘Universal Heartthrob’, and you expect to be ready for Thanksgiving! HAHAHAHA!”
Idol, “Hogan, you must not realize who I am! I’ve been beating people up for 20 years. I’m going to beat you so badly, the Gang won’t even have to wrestle you, they’ll just hand him the title.”
Lowrance, “Don’t miss any of the action in the WWA.”

The Bossman w/Woman vs. “Superfly” Jimmy
Woman has herself quite an organization, and the Bossman is the crown jewel. You can’t count out the veteran from Fiji, this will be a good one. Jimmy can match strength with anyone, and he does with the big correction officer. Snuka backs Bossman into the corner and breaks cleanly. I doubt Bossman will return the favor. The first few minutes are very even. Bossman begins to assert himself. Snuka fights back, and we have a good one. In the end, Bossman is too much and he wins with the sidewalk slam.
Winner- The Bossman
Mike Tenay and Dusty Rhodes close the show.
Tenay, “Big news, Dusty, the Pay per View will be something, and what about ‘Thunder Preview’?”
Rhodes, “Off the charts, Iron Mike, off the charts!”
Tenay, “Any tips on who your new man is?”
Rhodes, “Well, since you’re a friend of mine…no…you find out when everyone else does.”
