Owen, “Welcome everyone, the Portland Special is back. What a night it’s going to be. We have the World Champion here tonight. I’m not going to give it away, but we’ve had a lot of champions here, but this guy might be the best one. Let’s get things started with this guy that the kids love.”
Match #1
Beetlejuice vs. Tommy Lane
The popular Beetlejuice has quickly become a fan favorite. Lane is talented, and he goes right after Beetlejuice. It works for a while, and then the man in face paint rallies. The crowd is on their feet, as Beetlejuice takes over and wins with a frog splash.
Winner- Beetlejuice

The Tonga Kid vs. Grappler II
Tonga, and his cousin, Jimmy Snuka have been locked in a feud with the Grapplers. The matches have been even, and very hard hitting. Referee Sandy Barr calls for the bell. Both men are very aggressive, and the fans are on the edge of their seats. The masked man backs Tonga into the corner, and works him over. Tonga fires up, and fights his way out of the corner. We have a pier six brawl on our hands. The match goes back and forth until Tonga climbs to the top rope and hits the splash for the win.
Winner- The Tonga Kid

Jimmy “Superfly” Snuka vs. The Grappler
The second half of the feud is center stage now. Things start fast. Both men go to the fisticuffs early. Snuka switches to his patented chops. The crowd loves Jimmy. The Grappler goes to his underhanded tactics. He traps Snuka in the corner, and begins to choke. Jimmy is in real trouble. Both men tumble out of the ring. They begin to brawl on the arena floor. Referee Sandy Barr begins to count. The Grappler realizes the count is close to ten. He dives in the ring as Barr’s count reaches ten, a very sneaky win for the masked man.
Winner- The Grappler (Count Out)
Match #4
Six Man Tag Team Match
Nikita Koloff, Nikolai Volkoff and Boris Zhukov w/Col DeBeers vs. DJ Peterson, The Trooper, and the Midnight Soldier
This will be a wild one. Col DeBeers could be the difference. Volkoff and Peterson open the contest. Nikolai tries to overpower Peterson. DJ is powerful, and matches Volkoff power move for power move. DeBeers shouts instructions from ringside. The match is rough and exciting. Koloff tags in, and the “Russian Nightmare” goes to work. Now Peterson is in trouble. He tags in the Trooper, and goes right after Koloff. The crowd is on the edge of their seats. The Midnight Soldier tags in. The mysterious youngster tags in. He holds his own, and Zhukov tags in. The pace of the match picks up. All six men end up in the ring. In the confusion, the Soldier rolls up Zhukov. Referee Sandy Barr counts the fall! The crowd goes crazy. The fan favorites leave the ring. DeBeers badmouths Zhukov. Boris is apologetic. Suddenly, Volkoff and Koloff attack Zhukov. They pound away with kicks and punches. Zhukov is left in a heap. DeBeers looks pleased. Now, Volkoff and Koloff attack DeBeers. They leave him in a heap. Ivan Koloff comes to the ring and grabs the mic.
Ivan, “Zhukov, you were not a true Russian, and DeBeers, real Russians don’t need a South African in charge! Only Russians lead other Russians! Now, Nikolai and Nephew Nikita will destroy anyone in our paths!”
All three Russians stand in the ring.
Winners- DJ Peterson, the Trooper, and the Midnight Soldier
Intermission
Don Coss is in the ring.
Coss, “Wow! What a night so far, and it’s only going to get better. Let’s talk about our next ‘Portland Special’. It will be Tuesday November 21, two days before Thanksgiving. I can announce tonight that the World Champion, whoever he may be, will be on the card in November. Tickets are available at Sandy Barr’s Flea Market. Now let’s get back to the action.”

Pacific Northwest Tag Team Championship
The Midnight Express (Champions) w/Jim Cornette vs. Doug Furnas and Phil LaFon
Cornette takes the mic from Don Owen.
Cornette, “Give me that Owen, so you decided to dress up as a fossil for Halloween. Ladies, and gentlemen, you've seen them before, you’ve loved them, and now they’re here, Beautiful Bobby, and Sweet Stan, the Northwest Champions, the Midnight Express!”
Furnas and LaFon have some close to taking the titles, but Cornette, and his tennis racket have often been the difference. The bell rings and we are underway. LaFon and Stan open the contest. Both men are very talented. They exchange holds and counter holds. The early moments are dead even. Cornette yells instructions from ringside. Things start to go the challengers way, and now Cornette is worried. Lane tags in Eaton. Bobby goes to work. He is one of the most talented men in the sport. Furnas tags in, and the muscular man from Tennessee goes to work. Now Cornette is apoplectic. Eaton is in trouble. Lane comes in the ring to distract referee Sandy Barr. Cornette tosses the racket to Bobby. He decks Furnas and tosses the racket back to Cornette. Eaton covers Furnas. Barr turns and counts the fall. The MX gets another tainted win.

Pacific Northwest Championship
Billy Jack Haynes (Champion) vs. Rip “The Crippler” Oliver
Two Northwest icons meet in this one. The crowd loves Billy, and hates Oliver. They are invested in this contest. The match is hard hitting. Oliver can brawl with anyone. Billy has the size and strength. The match goes back and forth. Oliver traps Haynes in the corner. He chokes away, and Billy is in trouble. The crowd gets behind their local hero, and he fights his way out of the corner. Now Haynes is in control. They brawl back and forth until both men end up on the arena floor. Barr counts, and he reaches 10, both men are counted out. This is nowhere near finished.
Result- Double Count Out

IWA World Championship
Don Owen and Top Gun are waiting in the ring. Down the aisle comes…Jerry “The King” Lawler! He is the World Champion! Lawler takes the mic from Owen.
Lawler, “That’s right Portland, I’m the World Champion. You fools finally get to see a real man in action. It’s Halloween, and I see most of you saved on costumes, you just showed up looking like you normally do, that’s scary enough.”
Referee Sandy Barr calls for the bell. The masked Top Gun will be a good test for Lawler. The King is one of the best in the business. He works smoothly, but the masked man is very talented, and he matches Lawler move for move. So much so, the Champion rolls out of the ring. He argues with the ringsiders, and then returns to the ring. Lawler begins to take over the match. Top Gun puts up a good fight, but Lawler wins with a fist drop. The Champion struts around the ring. Down the aisle come “Playboy” Buddy Rose. He takes the mic from Owen.
Rose, “Lawler, I don’t want any trouble here. First of all, congratulations, you’ve been wrestling for a long time, and now you have a big time title. I’m going to say one thing, this is my country. I’m top dog here. I want to be the World Champion, give me a shot at that title!”
He hands the mic to Lawler.
Lawler, “You’re right, I finally won the World Title, something you’ve never done. I would love to embarrass you in front of these inbred fans.”
Lawler heads to the back. Rose is in the ring, and the crowd is getting behind the “Playboy”
