Mike Tenay and Dusty Rhodes open the program.

Tenay, “Dusty, the action in the WWA is off the charts!”

Rhodes, “It is Iron Mike, but I still don’t like JJ Dillon being around.”

Tenay, “I know there is a lot of history with you two, but I think he’s changed.”

Rhodes, “I still don’t trust him.”

Tenay, “Time will tell I guess. We also have more big news, ‘Piper’s Pit’ is back, and Roddy Piper has a surprise guest, you don’t want to miss that! Let’s get things started with Marc Lowrance.”

Match #1
Kama Mustafa w/Woman vs. Jackie Fulton

The ultimate fighting machine meets the youngster from Ohio. Fulton gets better every time out, but Kama is a monster. Jackie tries to use his quickness. It doesn’t work and Lama hunts him down. He works over Jackie and wins with a shoulder breaker. Woman has assembled quite the stable.
Winner- Kama Mustafa

Mr. Hughes vs. Lanny Poffo

Hughes has been missing since Gary Hart left. He appears to be on his own now. Poffo is a cagey veteran and he’ll need all that guile. Lanny moves quickly, and the big man is frustrated. Poffo holds his own, until Hughes has enough. He works over Lanny and wins with the sidewalk slam. Mr. Hughes is back.
Winner- Mr. Hughes

Marc Lowrance is seated in the studio.

Lowrance, “Fans Thanksgiving is fast approaching, and that means ‘Thanksgiving Thunder’. The WWA will be at the America West Arena on November 23. Last week, new WWA President James J. Dillon made two big announcements. He announced two matches for ‘Thanksgiving Thunder’, first of all, the Ultimate Warrior will take on Vladimir Koloff. This will be a battle of two massive men. He also announced the main event, in a steel cage, Hulk Hogan defends the World Title against the One Man Gang. This will be a huge confrontation, you don’t want to miss it. Tonight we can add a huge tag team match. The World Champions, the T-Rex Brothers, will defend against the Patriot and Kevin Von Erich. That gives us three big matches with more to come.

Now Let’s talk about something different. There are several smaller wrestling promotions all over the country, and they provide great wrestling action. The top organization is one named the Western States Wrestling Federation. They promote shows in Texas, New Mexico, and Arizona. The WWA has signed a working agreement with that group. Our wrestlers will appear on their shows, and Vice versa in the coming week, the WSWF will crown the ‘Western States Champion’. We can announce tonight that this title will be on the line on Thanksgiving night. Stay tuned to WWA programming for more information.”

Match #3
Tito Santana vs. “Hollywood” John Tatum

The popular Santana meets the flamboyant Tatum. John struts around the ring. This won’t phase the veteran from Toucola, Mexico. They lock up and we are underway. Tatum is very talented. He holds his own. Santana begins to take over and John resorts to the illegal tactics. Santana recovers and wins with the flying forearm.

The Bruise Brothers vs. Iceman King Parsons and Brickhouse Brown

The Bruise Brothers, Ron and Don, have arrived in the WWA with a bang. The two rugged brawlers have been very impressive. The talented duo of Parsons and Brown will be a good test. Ron starts with the Iceman, speed vs. power. Parsons uses his experience to keep Ron frustrated. Finally, Ron traps him in the corner, and tags in Don. They both dish out punishment. Brown tries to help, but referee James Beard stops him, and the Bruise Brothers dish out more punishment. Finally, Iceman escapes, and tags in Brickhouse. Brown starts fast, but the brothers take over and Don wins with the big boot.
Winners- The Bruise Brothers

Marc Lowrance is with the Patriot and Kevin Von Erich.

Lowrance, “With me are two of the most popular men in the WWA. Gentlemen, you face the Champions at ‘Thanksgiving Thunder’, you have come close to taking the titles, but the Barbarian and the Terminator seem to escape each time.”

Patriot, “Escape is the right word! They can’t beat us in a wrestling match, and they know that, that’s why Akbar keeps sticking his nose into things, but it’s just a matter of time. Kevin and I will win the titles!”

Kevin, “The Patriot is right, these T-Rex Brothers are big and strong, I’ll give them that. We have come close, and it’s been frustrating. This time, in Phoenix, those titles are going to belong to us, and the fans can be proud of their champions.”

Lowrance, “At ‘Thanksgiving Thunder’, the tag titles are up for grabs. When we return, the Patriot and Kevin are in action.”

Match #5
The Patriot and Kevin Von Erich vs. Killer Brooks and Mr. X

The fan favorites take on the rugged biker from Waxahachie and the mysterious masked man. Kevin starts with Brooks. The Killer tries to rough up Von Erich, but Kevin fights right back, and we have an early brawl. Brooks tags in the masked man, and he starts breaking the rules. The Patriot enters and hits the Patriot missile for the win.
Winners- The Patriot and Kevin Erich

Match #6
Tommy Rich w/Jimmy Hart vs. Johnny Ace

Hart leads the former World Champion. This will be a good match. Referee Chad Patton calls for the bell and we are underway. Ace starts fast, and Rich is in real trouble. Hart shouts instructions from ringside. Rich fights back. We have a hard hitting encounter. Ace has his chances, but Rich hits the Thesz press for the win.
Winner- Tommy Rich

We see the Piper’s Pit set.

Roddy Piper walks out.

Piper, “Hello everyone! The action in the WWA gets hotter and hotter! We got a big show coming up on Thanksgiving, just like Starrcade used to be, and you know I indie Starrcade. We also had Survivor Series on Thanksgiving. Well, the WWA may have topped them all. We got a big main event in a cage. The One Man Gang will challenge this man!”

Hulk Hogan comes out, and the crowd goes crazy.

Piper, “Alright Hogan, let’s get right to it. I think the cage match is right up Gang’s alley. He’s a monster, can you beat him?”

Hogan, “Let me tell you Roddy Piper, I’ve been fighting monsters for a long time, and I’m still standing! That stinky old Gang thinks I’m ready to be beat, well he’s got another thing coming! One Man Gang, whatcha’ gonna’ do when Hulkamania comes running all over you!”

Piper, “I don’t know about this Hogan.”

Hogan flexes, and the crowd goes crazy.

Match #7
Moadib w/General Skandor Akbar vs. Koko B Ware

Akbar has a monster on his hands. Koko is a tough veteran and this will be a good one. Koko uses his speed, and Moadib is frustrated. The General looks very worried. Moadib uses his size and strength to mount a comeback. The Birdman fights back, and the brawl continues. Akbar shouts instructions. The action continues until Moadib traps Koko in the cross face. He fights it, but must submit. The Nubian Terror continues impress.
Winner- Moadib

Mike Tenay and Dusty Rhodes close the program.

Tenay, “Dusty, Thanksgiving is coming quickly.”

Rhodes, “Hold on Iron Mike, the Dream has something to say. You dropped the bomb with that slimy old JJ Dillon, well the Dream has a surprise of his own.”

Tenay, “Really, tell us.”

Rhodes, “On Thanksgiving Night, the Dream will shock the world. I am going to bring a new star to the WWA! I promise you, people will be talking!”

Tenay, “Wow! If he’s with the Dream, he has to be a good one. We also have a great main event, the Ultimate Warrior will take on General Skandor Akbar’s Angel of Death, don’t miss this one!”
