Mike Tenay and Dusty Rhodes open the show.
Tenay, “Welcome to ‘Saturday Night Thunder’!”
Rhodes, “Come on Iron Mike, tell who the new President is!”
Tenay, “Be patient Dusty, we will announce that later. We will talk about ‘Thanksgiving Thunder’, and we have a tag team main event, Skandor Akbar’s World Tag Team Champions, the T-Rex Brothers, take on B. Brian Blair and Erik Watts.”
Rhodes, “You aren’t going to tell me, are you?”
Tenay, “Later Dusty, let’s go to Marc Lowrance.”
Match #1
“The Universal Heartthrob” Austin Idol w/Jimmy Hart vs. Jackie Fulton
The veteran Idol struts around the ring. The young Fulton waits patiently in the corner. Referee Chad Patton calls for the bell and we are underway. Idol wrestles a slow, methodical, style. Fulton is very game, and puts up a good fight. However, Idol locks in the Las Vegas leglock for the win.
Winner- Austin Idol
Match #2
Bobby Duncum Jr. Vs. Tony Falk
The talented Duncum is a second generation star. Falk is very game, but he might be in trouble. Duncum starts quickly. He takes Falk down, and mat wrestles him. Tony diesn’t know what hit him. He makes a brief comeback, but Duncum hits the bulldog for the win.
Winner- Bobby Duncum Jr.
Marc Lowrance is with Jimmy Hart and One Man Gang.
Lowrance, “With me is the ‘Mouth of the South’, Jimmy Hart, and the One Man Gang. Gentlemen, I know you have been chasing Hulk Hogan, but you can’t seem to take the World Title away from him.”
Hart, “Just A matter of time, Lowrance, just a matter of time! Look at the Gang, he’s the biggest monster in wrestling! Hogan got lucky once, it’s not going to happen again…HAHAHAHA!”
OMG, “Hogan! Get in the ring with me, and I will destroy you!”
Lowrance, “The One Man Gang will be in action next.”
Match #3
The One Man Gang w/Jimmy Hart vs. The Navajo Warrior
The Native American is a newcomer to the WWA. He has picked a difficult opponent to start with. The Gang attacks quickly. Hart is manic at ringside. He knows he has a great one. OMG overwhelms the Warrior and wins with the 747 splash. Gang grabs the mic,
“Hogan, this is going to happen to you! OHHHHHHHH!”
Winner- The One Man Gang
Match #4
“Superfly” Jimmy Snuka vs. Black Bart
Two veterans meet here. The crowd loves the “Superfly”. This is a hard hitting brawl. Bart uses his roughhouse tactics to trap Snuka in the corner. Jimmy fights his way out. He lands several chops, and Bart is in retreat. Bart gets in a few cheap shots, but Snuka is too much. He slams the big cowboy, and hits the Superfly leap for the win.
Winner- Jimmy Snuka
Marc Lowrance is with Koko B. Ware.
Lowrance, “With me is ‘The Birdman’ Koko B. Ware. Koko, you have been very successful here in the WWA.”
Koko, “Have mercy! The Birdman is flying high! The competition here is fantastic, and I want to test myself every night! I wrestle for the fans, and every night, I come out on top!”
Lowrance, “Koko will be in action when we return.”
Match #5
Koko B. Ware vs. Gangrel
The mysterious Gangrel is back. The wrestling vampire has been impressive, but so has Koko. Gangrel attacks before the bell. Koko is in trouble. Gangrel bites away at Koko’s forehead. Referee James Beard counts, but Gangrel breaks at four each time. The Thunderdome crowd gets behind Koko. He rallies and Gangrel is in retreat. Koko gets him up for the ghostbuster, and finishes him. A very good match.
Winner- Koko B. Ware
Match #6
Sabu w/Woman vs. Sam Houston w/Baby Doll
Woman takes the mic from Marc Lowrance.
Woman, “Sammy, you’re a good wrestler, and you’re very cute. You could go places with a real woman by your side.”
Baby Doll starts at Woman, but Sam holds her back.the bell rings and we are underway. The action is fast paced. Sabu wrestles his usual reckless style. Houston counters with his aggressive Texas style. The crowd loves the action. They are near the ropes, and Houston gets Sabu up for a suplex. Woman reaches in and grabs Sam’s leg. He goes down with Sabu on top of him. Woman holds on. Referee Billy Silverman does not see this and counts the fall. Baby Doll and Houston argue. Woman takes the mic again.
Woman, “”I told you what a real woman could do. Get yourself away from that cow.”
Baby Doll starts after Woman, but she and Sabu hightail it to the back.
Winner- Sabu

Non Title Match
The T-Rex Brothers (World Tag Team Champions) w/General Skandor Akbar vs.. B. Brian Blair and Erik Watts
The rugged Champions take on a very talented team. Akbar sends the Terminator out first against Blair. Brian mat wrestles and that frustrates the big man he wants to fight. Everything the Terminator tries, Blair has an answer for. Terminator tags in the even bigger Barbarian. He tries his hand with Brian. He is able to get Blair in trouble and Watts tags in. The former college football star starts fast. The Champions look to be in real trouble, but the Barbarian uses his size and turns the tide. He lands the big boot on Watts for the win. Who can beat this team?

Tenay, “Dusty, it’s time for the big announcement.”
Rhodes, “Iron Mike, I called all my sources, and no one knows who the new President is. You have keep this under you big old Texas cowboy hat.”
Tenay, “Fans, and Dusty, this is a huge announcement. The WWA gets bigger every day. More and more top stars are coming in, and we continue to grow. We need someone to come in and oversee the action. The owners put in a call to one of the most famous ‘smart guys’ in wrestling, and he’s here, Dusty someone you know very well…James J. Dillon!”
Rhodes, “WHAT?”
Dillon walks out and he and Rhodes are eye to eye.
Rhodes, “Dillon, you old polecat! What are you doing here!”
Dillon, “Dusty, you and I go back a long way, all the way to Florida. We did a lot of terrible things to each other, and I have one thing to say…I’m sorry!”
Rhodes, “That don’t mean nothing coming from you!”
Dillon, “I knew you wouldn’t trust me, but I’m being sincere. I will tell you this, I love wrestling, and the WWA is building the best promotion in the sport, and I want to be part of it.”
Tenay, “Dusty, I know this is tough to swallow, but I believe Mr. Dillon is a changed man.”
Rhodes, “A leopard don’t change his spots!”
Dillon, “I guess I’ll have to prove it to you.”
Tenay, “President Dillon, I know you have some announcements.”
Dillon, “I do. We know that the WWA is presenting a pay per view on Thanksgiving night, November 23. ‘Thanksgiving Thunder’ will take place at the America West Arena in Phoenix, AZ. I can announce two matches.”
Tenay, “This is what the world has been waiting for.”
Dillon, “Based on the confrontation on Piper’s Pit last week, the Ultimate Warrior will meet Vladimir Koloff. The pride of America will be on the line in that one. That’s not the big one. We have signed the main event, Hulk Hogan will defend the World Championship, against the One Man Gang, inside a steel cage.”
Tenay, “Wow! What a bombshell! Mr. Dillon you have made your prescence known in a very short time. I know we will have more information in the coming days.”
Tenay and Dillon shake hands. JJ offers his hand to Dusty, but the American Dream refuses. The program ends with Rhodes staring daggers at Dillon.
