Mike Tenay and Dusty Rhodes open the program.
Tenay, “Fans, welcome to ‘Saturday Night Thunder’. What a show we have for you, Dusty, we have a World Title Match.”
Rhodes, “Iron Mike, the Hulkster is in action, baby!”.
Tenay, “That’s right, Hulk Hogan defends the World Championship against an old foe, Don Muraco.”
Rhodes, “Muraco and I wrestled many times, that Hawaiian is double tough.”
Tenay, “We have a surprise for everyone, we will see two wrestlers, and they are tough.”
Rhodes, “The Dream won’t ruin anything, but one is another old ‘friend’ of mine.”
Tenay, “Let’s get things started with Marc Lowrance.”
Match #1
Bobby Duncum Jr. Vs. Iceman King Parsons
Two very good athletes open the show. Parsons starts quickly and he grabs the early edge. He whips Duncum into the ropes and clamps on the sleeper. Duncum fights to the ropes and referee James Beard calls for the break. Duncum slows the pace and takes over. He hits a bulldog for the win.
Winner- Bobby Duncum Jr.
Match #2
Austin Idol w/Jimmy Hart vs. Jackie Fulton
Jimmy Hart’s “First Family” has come together quickly. Idol, the veteran from Las Vegas, is a legend. He works over the Ohio youngster. Fulton is in trouble. Hart is manic at ringside yelling out instructions and encouragement. Idol slaps on the Las Vegas leglock for the win.
Winner- Austin Idol
Marc Lowrance is with the Ultimate Warrior.
Lowrance, “With me is the Ultimate Warrior. Mr. Warrior, you have arrived with a bang.”
Warrior, “Bang, an explosion! An explosion that has shaken the wrestling world! Everyone has heard it! They have risen to their feet, the little Warriors ans standing by me! The rest of the WWA will fall at the Warrior’s feet! The shockwaves will be felt all over the universe! I will rise to the metaphorical top of the world, and all the little Warriors will go with me!”
Lowrance, “The Ultimate Warrior will be in the next match.”
Match #3
The Ultimate Warrior vs. David Sierra
The veteran from Cuba waits in the ring. The music plays, and Warrior charges to the ring. The Warrior goes right after Sierra. The veteran fights back, and this is a little longer than Warrior’s previous matches, but he takes over and uses a press slam and splash for the win.
Winner- The Ultimate Warrior
Match #4
Sam Houston w/Baby Doll vs. Gangrel
The mysterious Gangrel debuts. He looks like a vampire. Baby Doll leads Houston into action. Gangrel is very aggressive and looks very good. Baby Doll shouts instructions from ringside. Houston rallies. He hits a bulldog for a hard fought win.
Winner- Sam Houston
Match #5
Rip Morgan vs. Koko B. Ware
The popular “Birdman” takes on the rugged Kiwi. Morgan takes the attack to Koko. Ware fights back and we have a very competitive match. Both have chances, but a Koko gets the big man up for the ghostbuster.
Winner- Koko B. Ware
We see the Piper’s Pit set. Roddy Piper walks out.
Piper, “Hello everyone, RP here! It’s great to be in the WWA! I’m going to tell you something, I’m from Scotland, but I’ve been in the good old U.S. of A. For a long time, and I love this country! These next two guys run their mouths a lot, and run down America, but they ain’t seen Roddy Piper yet! Let’s bring them out.”
Ivan and Vladimir Koloff walk out.
Piper, “Ivan Koloff, we all know you, but who is this big, dumb, lug?
Ivan, “Listen to me Piper, I’ve known you for a long time, and I know you have a big mouth. That doesn’t matter. This is my nephew Vladimir, he is the perfect Russian athlete, and he is here to teach Americans lessons that only we Russians can give, and we have picked out our first victim.”
Piper, “Who’s that?”
Ivan, “That is our secret, and you know that we Russians can keep secrets. When it is time to reveal our plan, we will destroy everyone in our path.”
Piper, “Well, America is going to stand up to you!”

Non Title Match
The T-Rex Brothers (World Tag Team Champions) w/General Skandor Akbar vs. Johnny Ace and Erik Watts
The Champions take on a formidable team. The Terminator starts with Ace, these two sure do resemble one another. Ace holds his own with the big man. Akbar shouts instructions from ringside. The match is even when the Barbarian tags in. The big man starts to dish out punishment. Ace tags in Watts and the former college football quarterback tries his hand. He puts up a good fight, but the Barbarian hits the big boot for the win. The Champions will be hard to beat.
Winners- The T-Rex Brothers
Marc Lowrance is with Hulk Hogan.
Lowrance, “Fans, with me is the World Champion. Hulk Hogan, tonight you meet an old foe, Don Muraco.”
Hogan, “Well, you know something Marc Lowrance, the Hulkster has wrestled them all, and he’s beaten them all! Muraco is very good, and I ‘ve been in the ring with him before. I fought hard to get the World Title, and I’m keeping it for all the Hulkamaniacs out there! Don Muraco, whatcha’ gonna’ do when Hulkamania runs all over you!”
Lowrance, “The World Title match is next.”
Match #7
World Championship
Hulk Hogan (Champion) vs. Don Muraco
“Real American” plays and the Champion comes to the ring. Referee Billy Silverman calls for the bell and we are underway. Muraco is very aggressive, and he goes right after the Hulkster. Hogan fights back, and we have a pier six brawl. The crowd is on the edge of their seats. Muraco traps Hogan in the corner. He chokes away, and the Champion is in trouble. Hogan fights his way out of the corner. The momentum swings. Hogan hits the big boot and wins with the legdrop. Hulkamania is running wild!
Winner- Hulk Hogan
Mike Tenay and Dusty Rhodes close the program.
Tenay, “Dusty, another great night of WWA action.”
Rhodes, “Iron Mike, we are the best in wrestling, and it’s here every Saturday night on E…S…P…N!”
