Mike Tenay and Dusty Rhodes open the show.
Tenay, “Dusty, things are heating up as fall approaches.”
Rhodes, “Iron Mike, the WWA is the fastest growing thing in pro wrestling, and the Dream is here for every bit of it!”
Tenay, “We have a great show tonight, Moadib takes on Tito Santana, Piper’s Pit will be here, our main event will be the One Man Gang takes on Jimmy Snuka, and we have a debut that will shock the wrestling world.”
Rhodes, “Who is it Iron Mike?”
Tenay, “Just be patient Dusty, let’s go to Marc Lowrance.”
Match #1
The Simpson Brothers vs. “Maniac” Mike Davis and “Hollywood” John Tatum
The popular brothers from South Africa take on two veterans. Shaun starts with Tatum. Simpson is very quick, and controls the action. Tatum fights back. Davis tags in, and the “Maniac” goes to work. Shaun fights back and tags in his brother. The elder Simpson takes over. He uses his speed to take over and wins with a flying body press.
Winners- The Simpson Brothers
Match #2
B. Brian Blair vs. “Outlaw” Joel Deaton
The popular Blair meets the rugged “Outlaw”. Both men are talented, and the action goes back and forth. Deaton roughs up Blair. Brian fights back, and the fans love the action. Both have their chances, and Blair slaps on the sleep hold. Deaton is out.
Winner- B. Brian Blair
Marc Lowrance is in the interview area.
Lowrance, “Fans, the best in wrestling are coming to the WWA. This man is one of the legends of the sport. The newest manager in the WWA…’The Mouth of the South’…Jimmy Hart.”
Jimmy Hart comes out.
Hart, “Marc Lowrance, not one of the top managers in the sport, ‘THE’ top manager in the sport!”
Lowrance, “Alright, what are your plans in the WWA, I know you’re not here by yourself?”
Hart, “I could be, hahaha, Jimmy Hart is enough by himself! I don have a couple of guys to help me.”
Lowrance, “Who?”
Hart, “What are you, an owl? I have a couple of guys, first of all, ‘The Universal Heartthrob’, Austin Idol!”
Austin Idol walks out.
Hart, “One of the greatest wrestlers in the sport, but I’m not finished, a former World Champion, ‘Wildfire’ Tommy Rich!”
Rich walks out.
Hart, “The rest of the WWA better wake up and see that Jimmy Hart is on top of the WWA!”
Lowrance, “Mr. Hart, you are full of surprises. When we return, Tommy Rich will take on Jimmy Jack Funk.”
Match #3
“Wildfire” Tommy Rich w/Jimmy Hart vs. Jimmy Jack Funk
Rich is booed loudly. He was once the most popular man in wrestling, but not any more. Funk is a wild man, and this should be a good one. Referee Chad Patton calls for the bell. Funk starts fast. He brawls, and Rich fights back. The action goes back and forth. There are very few wrestling moves. Hart is manic at ringside. He shouts instructions. The action is fast paced, and Rich hits the Thesz press for the win. Jimmy Hart is in the WWA
Winner- Tommy Rich
Match #4
The Patriot and Kevin Von Erich vs. Wild Bill Irwin and Black Bart
The Patriot and Kevin are the top contenders for the World Tag Team Champions. Kevin starts with Irwin. It starts out hard hitting. Both men throw haymakers. Kevin gains control, and tags in the maske man. Bart comes in, and the brawl continues. Bart is tough, but the Patriot missile ends things. Kevin and the masked man are ready for the T-Rex Brothers.
Winners- The Patriot and Kevin Von Erich
We see the “Piper’s Pit” set. Roddy Piper walks out.
Piper, “Hello everyone! The Piper era continues in the WWA. You know I ask the tough questions, and today, I’m going to do that. My guests are General Skandor Akbar and the tag team champions.”
Akbar and the T-Rex Brothers come out.
Piper, “Alright Akbar, you’re men are the champions, but we just saw Von Erich, and the Patriot, can you beat them again?”
Akbar, “Piper, you’ve got a big mouth, but you know wrestling. Von Erich and the Patriot are very good, but the Barbarian, and the Terminator beat them before, and they’ll do it again!”
Piper, “They are good, but I think their reign is going to be short.”
Akbar, “Watch it Piper, I might turn them loose on you!”
Match #5
Tito Santana vs. Moadib w/General Skandor Akbar
This will be a good one. Referee Billy Silverman calls for the bell. Both men lock up. Santana tries to wrestle, but the “Nubian Terror” wants to brawl. Akbar shouts instructions and Moadib picks it up. He pounds away, and Santana is in trouble, the Thunderdome crowd gets behind Tito, and he mounts a comeback. Both men end up brawling on the arena floor. Silverman’s count reaches ten, and both men are counted out.
Result- Double Count Out
Match #6
Sabu w/Woman vs. Brickhouse Brown
Woman leads the mysterious Sabu to the ring. Brown is a very talented wrestler, but Sabu is “Suicidal, Homocidal, Genocidal”. The bell rings and we are underway. Sabu is quick and aggressive. He has Brown in early trouble. Brick fights back, but Sabu is too much. He hits the Arabian facebuster for the win. Sabu then pulls a table into the ring. He places Brown on the table, and hits the moonsault on him. Referee James Beard calls for the bell again and disqualifies Sabu. He doesn’t seem to care.
Winner- Brickhouse Brown (Reversed Decision)
Marc Lowrance is with the One Man Gang.
Lowrance, “With me is the number one contender for the World Championship, but we are missing someone. One Man Gang, you’re manager is missing.”
Jimmy Hart walks out.
Hart, “No he isn’t. Hahahaha! I have purchased the contract of the Gang, with me, Hulk Hogan, the end is coming for you! The One Man Gang is headed to the top, and Jimmy Snuka, the ‘Superfly’, hahaha! You are in our way, but not for long!”
Lowrance, “Well, it’s hard to get a word in with Mr. Hart, but this is a dangerous combination.”
Match #7
The One Man Gang w/Jimmy Hart vs. “Superfly” Jimmy Snuka
Gang and Jimmy Hart are a dangerous combination, but “The Superfly” will be a good test. The bell rings and we are underway. The veteran Snuka knows what to do. He moves quickly to avoid the big man. Hart is manic at ringside. OMG is frustrated. Finally, he catches Jimmy and starts to dish out punishment. He lands big blow after blow. Gang slams Snuka and climbs to the second rope, and hits the 747 splash for the win.
Winner- The One Man Gang
Mike Tenay and Dusty Rhodes close the show.
Tenay, “Dusty, Jimmy Hart is in the WWA.”
Rhodes, “‘The Mouth of the South’ baby! The Dream has crossed swords with him before, he and that crew are going to be tough to beat.”
Tenay, “WWA action gets better, and better, next week is going to another great show. The World Champion will be here. Hulk Hogan will take on Don Muraco, Dusty, that could be a main event anywhere in the world.”
Rhodes, “That’s right Iron Mike, it will be a great one!”
Tenay, “Join us next week.”
