Bob Armstrong, commissioner of Smoky Mountain Wrestling announces after the huge event in Morristown, the Smoky Mountain Board of Directors has decided and voted to leave the USWA and no longer recognize their world champions. The Parade of Champions saw new champions crowned and a new direction. Their weekly show will return to The Nashville Network next Monday night. That night there will be a Smoky Mountain heavyweight title match when new champion Jake “The Snake” Roberts defends againt The Dirty White Boy. Bob Armstrong also wants the fans to know that every week we are going to see a match that will be a main event anywhere else in the world.
