“Thank you so much fans for watching as we recapped the exciting action that took place July 1 at the Stampede Showdown, and fans, I think we can agree this was not just a Ring-Ding-Dong Dandy, or even a Ringa-Dinga-Donga-Dandy, but it was a Ringadinga-Ringadonga-Dinga-Donga-Dingadandy!”
“The main thing wrestling fans are talking about is our NEW Stampede World Heavyweight Champion, Calgary’s own BRET HART, who defeated Ravishing Rick Rude to win that title. However The Ravishing One and his manager, Jimmy Hart, have been demanding a rematch as you may have heard, for over a month. Hart has found a clause that immediately gives Rude as rematch, and we now know that rematch WILL be broadcast in its entirety NEXT WEEK ON COMMONWEALTH CHAMPIONSHIP WRESTLING, in the meantime, we will have comments from both champion and challenger this week! Also this week, The Road Warriors are the tag team champions, but things still aren’t settled with the Nasty Boys . . . . .the amazing Great Muta is back in action! Calgary’s Favorite Son Jim Neidhart is back in action as rumors are he will be facing a new rival, and the Rougeaus are looking to rebound after losing to Owen Hart and Brian Pillman!
