LANCE: Yello, everybody! Welcome to an action packed edition of UWA FURY! We have a whale of a show for all of our fans watching on TNT! That includes two big American Title Tournament matches!
LES: “Latin Heartthrob” Al Perez will take on Wendell Cooley in one tournament match. The other match will have an international flair as Gentleman Chris Adams will take on Wrestle Kingdom’s Masahiro Chono. I also have a very unique Personality Profile. The legendary Fritz Von Erich has invited me to the Von Erich ranch for a very important meeting.
MAGNUM: When Fritz wants to see somebody at the ranch, it’s usually very important business! Right now, we are going to see a match that should be a really good scientific match!
STEVE KEIRN VS. ITALIAN STALLION: Once again, the announcers spot Dennis Condrey, this time in a ringside seat…
As Magnum predicted, this is a clean match and Keirn scores an impressive win with an Oklahoma side roll.

BONI: I am here with the former World Tag Team Champions. You were watching that last match with a lot of interest!
BOBBY: No doubt about it, Boni! We want those belts back! We have a big surprise later tonight for the Organization, but right here, we want to challenge Muraco and Martel for a championship match right here on TV! We saw our pal Kevin Von Erich take the TV belt off Orton last week and that inspired us to get a title match here on UWA FURY so we can win the title back with millions of fans worldwide watching!
TOMMY: How about it? Do the World Champions have the guts to give us that title match? The Fantastics had the guts and I wasn’t even 100%! You guys have never beaten us when both members of our team were healthy! I don’t think you can do it!

MARTEL: It wasn’t our fault that you were beat up so badly the night before our match! That really doesn’t matter! We have discussed this with “Megabucks” Michael Rotunda and we accept your challenge!

Not a backflip or a somersault, but a wrestling hold! I feel like I am ready for anything right now, Boni! If Dean Malenko and Cowboy BilL Watts could join us, I have a proposition!

WATTS: I’m not having any trouble out here! Do you men understand that?

PERSONALITY PROFILE
LES: This week’s Personality Profile is very unique. Recently, Our cameras were welcomed into the inner sanctum of the Von Erich family headquarters-fritz’s ranch in Denton County, Texas. Upon arrival, the camera crew and I were escorted into Fritz’s personal office. Fritz’s sons, Kerry and Kevin, were there, along with Bobby Fulton and Tommy Rogers, the Fantastics. Here’s what took place.
VTR:
We are in a lavishly furnished room. Fritz sits behind an oak desk. His sons, the Fantstics, and Les are seated in chairs in front of the desk.
FRITZ: Here’s why I called this meeting.: The Organization, Michael Rotunda’s group, has been a thorn in the sides of the Von Erichs and the Fantastics. They have cost Kerry his title and the Fantastics their title! We really need to put a stop to this! I was speaking to my friend Steve Rickard from over in New Zealand the other day. He says that they have a way of settling issues like this over there! They call it WORLD WAR III! I think if we can get the Organization to agree to this match, maybe we can get rid of them once and for all!
It will start with a Captain’s Match. Everybody who’s ever wrestled in Texas knows how that works. The fans pick a captain from each team to wrestle the first match on the card. Usually, that’s just a way to involve the fans, but in this situation it’s very important, beacaus the winning captain gives his team an advantage later.
The match takes place in a steel cage. Kevin proved what a Von Erich can do in a cage last week. Bobby and Tommy, I’ve seen you boys wrestle in steel cages and even barbed wire cages. I have no doubt that you can handle yourselves! OK, to start off, each team sends a man into the cage and they start the match. After 5 minutes, the team whose captain won sends a second man in. this gives one team a man advantage for 2 minutes. After two minutes, the other team sends in a man to even it up. Every two minutes, another man comes in. Here’s a very important part of the match! Neither team can win the match until all of the members of both teams are in! After everybody is in the match, it’s anything goes! The match goes until one member of a team gives up and surrenders!
KEVIN: That sounds dangerous, Pop!
FRITZ: It is! Rickard says every time they have held one of these, at least one man from each team has been hospitalized! However, he also informed me that in every case, the issue was settled! I think it’s time we take care of the Organization, once and for all!
KERRY: I agree, but I want to get my title back from Williams and he already has a title defense against Rhodes that day!
FRITZ: Williams and Scotty the Body have both committed to matches. That leaves Rotunda, Orton, Muraco, and Martel. Each of those men has cost a man in this room a championship! This is your chance to put a stop to what they’ve been doing!
BOBBY: He’s right!
TOMMY: I say we go for it!
KERRY: Yeah! Let’s do it!
KEVIN: (addressing camera) Rotunda, that’s the challenge: Von Erichs and Fantastics against the Organization..WORLD WAR III match...HOG WILD in Sturgis! Do you have the guts?

BONI: We’ll get the answer after these messages!

BONI: I’m here with the Organization! The challenge has been made by the Von Erichs and the Fantastics! What do you say?
ROTUNDA: There’s no fool like an old fool! Fritz, you doddering old man, you have signed your boys’ death warrant! Look at these amazing athletes! Do you really think your boys and the Fantastics can stand up to what you see before you?
BONI: Well, Kevin beat Orton here in a cage last week…
ORTON: Are you serious, little girl? I beat him all over that cage!
ROTUNDA: He did everything illegal in that match! If he had any shame, he’s never show his face in public again! It was a fluke, Ace! Anybody with a sixth grade education could see that!
MURACO: You know what? It might be 4 against 2 by the time we get to Sturgis! I donubt the Fantastics will be healthy after next week!
MARTEL: That’s an excellent point, Magnificent One!
DR. DEATH: I just wish I could be in that cage! That sounds like fun!
ROTUNDA: You just better concentrate on your title defense! Rhodes can’t be taken lightly! We’re all counting on you to keep the World Title in the Organization!
DR. DEATH: Hey, when have I ever let you guys down before?
ROTUNDA: Where do I start?
MISSY: Mikey, that’s not fair!
It looks like Rotunda and Williams are about to come to blows!
BONI: It looks like trouble in the Organization!
MISSY: (to Boni) You’d better keep your mouth shut!
ROTUNDA: Look, Nancy Drew, all is well! We still have all three World Championships in the Organization! After we take care of business in World War III, it will be a clear path for us to hold all of the championships once again! It’s manifest destiny! It’s divine right! AMERICAN TITLE TOURNAMENT MATCH: “LATIN HEARTTHROB” AL PEREZ VS. WENDELL COOLEY: The announce teams notes the absence of Baby Doll this week. Cooley starts strong, but makes a mistake and takes a hard spill to the Sportatorium floor and appears to hurt his ankle! Perez takes full advantage of the situation as he works the leg and eventually locks in the spinning toehold for a submission win and a trip to the next phase of the tournament!

AMERICAN TITLE TOURNAMENT MATCH: GENTLEMAN CHRIS ADAMS VS. MASAHIRO CHONO(W/HIRO MATSUDA): One member of Matsuda’s Wrestle Kingdom group, Mr. Saito, has already advanced in the tournament. It’s not to be for Chono, however. After a spirited , action packed bout, Adams catches the Japamese grappler in a backslide to score the pin and advance.
