Mike Tenay and Dusty Rhodes open the program.
Tenay, “Hello everyone, ‘Saturday Thunder’ is on the air! Dusty, what a night it’s going to be!”
Rhodes, “Iron Mike, my goosebumps have goosebumps! Two big announcements, I can’t wait!”
Tenay, “Dusty is right, we have two big announcements, who will wrestle for the World Tag Team Championships, and who will wrestle for the World Championship? Also we have a great main event.”
Rhodes, “‘Superfly’ vs. big, old, ugly, Moadib!”
Tenay, “Let’s get things started with a popular newcomer!”
Match #1
Tito Santana vs. “Outlaw” Joel Deaton
The popular Santana is loved by the fans. Deaton is tough. The match is fast paced and even. Deaton tries to rough up Tito, but the veteran is ready and fights back. Santana shoots Deaton into ropes, and hits the flying burrito for the win.

Kevin Von Erich and the Patriot vs. Tex Slazanger and Shanghai Pierce
The popular team of Kevin Von Erich and the Patriot take on the rugged cowboys. The Patriot and Pierce open the contest. The veteran Von Erich is still one of the best ring generals in the business. Pierce tries to roughhouse, and Kevin matches him blow for blow. Pierce is in trouble and tags in Tex. He goes right after Kevin, and the brawl continues. The Patriot tags in. He and Slazenger go at it. The masked man takes over, and hits the Patriot missile for the win.
Winners- Kevin Von Erich and the Patriot
Marc Lowrance is seated in the studio.
Lowrance, “Welcome fans, we are approaching September 10th, and ‘Thunderstruck ‘93’. The WWA will be at the Los Angeles Sports Arena.we know that two titles will be decided that night. Remember the show is on Pay per View. Contact your local cable company for instructions on how to order. Now let’s talk about the tag team titles. The WWA will recognize the World Tag Team Championship. The ‘Championship Committee’ met several times. They looked at me won-loss records, level of competition, and several other factors. The committee chose two teams. First, the team you just saw, Kevin Von Erich and the Patriot. The popular team is one of the best in the sport. They will face the team you will see next on our program, General Skandor Akbar’s ‘T-Rex Brothers’. The Terminator and the Barbarian are two of the biggest and strongest teams in wrestling. It will be a fantastic contest.
Match #3
The T-Rex Brothers w/General Skandor Akbar and The Angel of Death vs. Johnny Mantell and Sam Houston w/Baby Doll
Akbar’s T-Rex Brothers have just been named a finalist for the World Tag Team Titles. Mantell and Houston will be a good test. The Barbarian and Mantell open the contest. The Barbarian uses his power to control the action. Mantell is a wily veteran, and he holds his own. Both Akbar and Baby Doll shout instructions from ringside. Hercules tags in and goes to work. Houston tags in and uses his speed, and things go his way. Hercules grabs Sam, and clamps on the full Nelson. Houston fights it, but he has to submit. Akbar’s men are threats to the titles.

Match #4
Six Man Tag Team Match
The Simpson Brothers and Chris Adams vs. Bobby Duncum Jr., Black Bart and Billy Black
This will be a wild one. The Simpsons and Adams are very popular, and the other men are on the other end of the spectrum. Shaun Simpson starts with Duncum. The action goes back and forth. Bart tags in. He uses his size to punish Shaun. He’s able to tag in Steve. The elder Simpson hits the ring, and has Bart on the run. Black tags in. He matches Simpson move for move. Then Adams tags in. The English Legend takes over and hits the super kick on Black for the win.
Winners- The Simpson Brothers and Chris Adams
We go back to the studio and Marc Lowrance.
Lowrance, “Hello again fans. Earlier tonight we announced the two tag teams that will wrestle for the World Tag Team Championship at ‘Thunderstruck ‘93’ . As a reminder, the team of Kevin Von Erich will meet General Skandor Akbar’s team of the T-Rex Brothers. What a match it will be. Now for the big match. The One Man Gang accompanied by ‘Playboy’ Gary Hart. The Gang is a monster. He will meet…the Incredible Hulk Hogan! Hulk Hogan is the biggest name in the sport, and a true legend. On September 10, at the Los Angeles Sports Arena, the WWA presents our first Pay per View. Contact your local cable company for information on ordering. Let’s see the One Man Gang in action.”

The One Man Gang w/“Playboy” Gary Hart vs. Iceman King Parsons
We know the Gang will challenge for the World Championship. You know that Hart is very pleased. Hulk Hogan is a legend, but the Gang is a monster. Referee James Beard calls for the bell and we are underway. Parsons is very athletic, and he will need to be. “Moon” attacks. He is vicious. He pounds away Parsons. Hart shouts instructions from ringside. Parsons makes a brief comeback, but the Gang is too much. He goes to the second rope, and lands the 747 splash. Hulk Hogan is in for a challenge.
Winner- The One Man Gang
Match #6
Moadib w/General Skandor Akbar and the Angel of Death vs. Jimmy “Superfly” Snuka
Akbar leads “The Nubian Terror” against a true legend. Snuka starts fast. He chops away at Moadib, and the “Nubian Terror” is stunned. Akbar is worried at ringside. Moadib rolls out of the ring and confers with Akbar. The crowd goes crazy for the Superfly. Moadib returns to the ring. He gets even more aggressive. Snuka puts up a good fight, but Moadib clamps on the cross face. Snuka submits.
Winner- Moadib
“The American Dream” is with Hulk Hogan.
Rhodes, “Hello everybody, you’re looking at two true American legends! Hulk Hogan, you have a chance to be the World Champion, are you ready?”
Hogan, “Let me tell you something ‘Dream”! The Hulkster is ready for that big, ugly, One Man Gang! He is a monster, but I’ve been taking down giants for a long time! This is going to be another one! Because, whatcha’ gonna’ do when Hulkamania comes after you?!”
Rhodes, “The Hulkster is in the ring next!”
Match #7
Hulk Hogan vs. Wild Bill Irwin
Irwin waits in the ring.
Plays, and the Hulkster comes down the aisle. He comes into the ring and tears off his shirt. Referee Billy Silverman calls for the bell. Irwin tears into Hulk. The legend is in trouble. The tough biker from Duluth, MN kicks and punches. Hogan begins to fight back. Now Irwin is in retreat. Hogan is in control. Irwin mounts a brief comeback, but Hogan is too much. He hits the big boot, and the legdrop for the win.
Winner- Hulk Hogan
Mike Tenay and Dusty Rhodes close the show.
Tenay, “Dusty, Hulk Hogan is running wild!”
Rhodes, “Iron Mike! The Hulkster is on a roll! The Gang is good, but the Hulk is ready!”
Tenay, “Saturday Night Thunder’ is the hottest thing in wrestling, join us next week for more action!”
