Don Coss and Crusher Stasiak open the program.



Coss, “Welcome to the ‘House of Action’! Crusher, this is a big night. We are going to announce the two teams that will meet for the Pacific Northwest Tag Team Titles. We will also talk more about the ‘Portland Special’. Crusher it’s going to be a great night.”



Stasiak, “Don, it’s going to be a great night. I’m interested to see which two teams are chosen.”



Coss, “We will have a great main event tonight. We have a six man tag team match, Col DeBeers’ team of the three Russians, Nikita Koloff, Nikolai Volkoff and Boris Zhukov take on the young, muscular, trio of DJ Peterson, the Trooper, and the Midnight Soldier. This will be a war. Let’s go to Don Owen and get things started.”



Match #1

Ricky Vaughn vs. Vince Torelli



Vaughn is very popular and a game wrestler. Torelli is a tough youngster. The match is fast paced, and very even. Torelli tries to rough up Vaughn. Ricky is ready for it. He out wrestles Vince, and hits a big drop kick, and covers him for the win.

Winner- Ricky Vaughn



Match #2

“Mean” Mike Miller vs. Top Gun



The popular masked man meets the rugged Cajun. The match is hard hitting. Miller traps Top Gun in the corner, and drives a knee to the midsection. Top Gun fights his way out of the corner. The match is very fast paced until the masked man hits a flying bodypress for the win.

Winner- Top Gun



Crusher Stasiak is with Doug Furnas and Phil LaFon.



Stasiak, “With me is one of the best tag teams in the world. They have dominated tag team wrestling in Japan, and now they are in the Northwest. Gentlemen, we are going to fill the tag team championship. I know you are interested.”



Furnas, “Mr. Stasiak, we are very confident. We know there are great teams hers in the Northwest, but we feel we can compete with any of them.”



LaFon, “Doug is right. We want those titles, and we ‘re willing to beat anyone in our path. It won’t be easy, but we’re going to win them.”



Stasiak, “Furnas and LaFon have to be one of the favorites.”



Match #3

Doug Furnas and Phil LaFon vs. The Avengers



The popular Furnas and LaFon riding high. The masked Avengers are an unknown. LaFon starts against #1. The masked man looks to be a very good mat wrestler. LaFon matches him move for move. Furnas tags in and the powerful former football star goes to work. #2 tags in. He puts up a good fight, but Furnas hits a power slam for the win.

Winners- Doug Furnas and Phil LaFon



Match #4

Jesse Barr vs. Mike Davis



The popular Barr has returned to his home area. Davis will be a good match for him. The bell rings and we are underway. The action is fast paced. Jesse is a skilled wrestler, and Davis is too. They exchange holds and counter holds. Finally Barr gets Davis up for a shoulder breaker. He hits it, covers him for the win.

Winner- Jesse Barr





Crusher Stasiak is with Dutch Mantell.



Stasiak, “With me is Dutch Mantell. Dutch, you are a veteran of the mat game. You’ve wrestled all the top stars, and now you’re in the Pacific Northwest.”



Mantell, “Stasiak, I was looking for the best competition in wrestling, and I found it in Portland. There are a lot of good wrestlers here, guys like Snuka, Peterson, and even Oliver. He’s a dirty dog, but he’s good. I have an open contract, and I’ll wrestle anyone, any time.”



Stasiak, “Let’s see Dutch in action.”



Mach #5

Dutch Mantell vs. Mark Starr



The veteran from Oil Through, TX meets the young Englishmen. Starr starts quickly, but the veteran fights him off, and now he controls the action. Starr mounts a comeback, but Mantell is too much and wins with the cobra hold.

Winner- Dutch Mantell





Don Coss is in the Crow’s Nest.



Coss, “Things just get more exciting in ‘Pacific Northwest Wrestling’. We are moving towards crowning our champions. On Tuesday night, September 5, we will present a ‘Portland Special’. The Pacific Northwest Title and the Pacific Northwest Tag Team Titles will be decided. Tonight, we can announce who will compete for the tag titles. Doug Furnas and Phil LaFon will meet the Midnight Express with Jim Cornette. These are two of the best tag teams in the sport. It will be a great match. Stay tuned, next week, we will announce who will wrestle for the Pacific Northwest Championship. Don’t miss this one!”



Match #6

Six Man Tag Team Match

Nikita Koloff, Nikolai Volkoff and Boris Zhukov w/Col DeBeers vs. Dj Peterson, The Trooper, and the Midnight Soldier



DeBeers’ massive Russians take on three muscular Americans. DeBeers runs down America trying to unnerve the youngsters. It doesn’t seem to work. Zhukov starts with Peterson. DJ uses his strength to work over Boris. The big Russian is frustrated. Zhukov tags in his Bolshivik partner Volkoff. Nikolai takes over and dishes out punishment. Peterson is in trouble and tags in the Trooper. The popular youngsters goes right after Volkoff. The fans are on their feet shouting “U.S.A…U.S.A.!” Volkoff tags in Koloff. The “Russian Nightmare” slams the big Trooper to the mat. The Midnight Soldier tags in. The action ends up out of control. Referee Sandy Barr can no longer control the action. He calls for the bell and disqualifies both teams.

Result- Double Disqualification

Coss, “Fans, another night at the ‘House of Action’! It gets hotter and hotter. We now know who will wrestle for the tag team title, Furnas and LaFon vs. The Midnight Express will be exciting.
