Mike Tenay and Dusty Rhodes open the program.
Tenay, “Welcome fans, I’m Mike Tenay, and this is ‘Saturday Night Thunder’!”
Rhodes, “Iron Mike, the Professor is here baby!”
Tenay, “Thank you Dusty, it’s great to be in the WWA!”
Rhodes, “Iron Mike, what a night! Hulk Hogan is here!”
Tenay, “And he’s here again tonight. Marc Lowrance will sit down with the ‘Hulkster’ and talk about his arrival in the WWA. We also have a great main event, the Great Kabuki with ‘Playboy’ Gary Hart takes on 2Cold Scorpio.”
Rhodes, “I know Kabuki, and do I know that semi professional wino from Chicago, Gary Hart, Kabuki, Scorpio is ready for you!”
Tenay, “Let’s go to Marc Lowrance.
Match #1
Koko B. Ware vs. “The California Stud” Rod Price
The “Birdman” takes on the powerful Californian. Price flexes his muscles early, and he controls the action. Koko goes to the quicker pace. He hits and moves, and now he is in control. Koko goes for the ghostbuster. He gets the big man up, and hits it. A good win for the “Birdman”.
Winner- Koko B. Ware
Match #2
Wild Bill Irwin vs. Iceman King Parsons
The rugged biker from Duluth, MN meets the popular Iceman. Parsons starts quickly. He has Irwin in retreat. Irwin takes to the floor to regroup. He argues with the ringsiders. Irwin returns to the ring and starts with the roughhouse tactics. Wild Bill takes over and finishes things with a big boot.
Winner- Wild Bill Irwin
Marc Lowrance is seated in the studio.
Lowrance, “Hello everyone, September 10 is the date. The WWA will be at the Los Angeles Sports Arena for ‘Thunderstruck ‘93’. This will be our first Pay per View. The action will be fantastic. We will fill the two vacant WWA Titles, the World Title, and the World Tag Team Titles. We can tell you tonight, that next week, we will announce the two tag teams that will wrestle for the tag titles, and we will announce the two men who will battle for the World Title. Negotiations are going on as we speak. Remember, this show will be available on Pay per View. Contact your local cable for instructions on how to order.”
Match #3
“Gentleman” Chris Adams vs. Billy Black w/Buddy Roberts
The popular English “Gentleman” takes on the rugged man from Georgia. Roberts puts the bad mouth on Adams. While Chris is distracted Black jumps him. He irks over Adams, and Roberts looks pleased at ringside. Adams draws on the cheers of the crowd and fights back. We have a brawl on our hands. Adams whips Billy not the corner, but referee Scott Dickinson is in the way. He goes down hard. With the referee down, Roberts climbs up on the ring apron. He hangs an object to Black. Billy decks Chris. He covers him, and Dickinson struggles to his feet and counts the fall. That was a miscarriage of justice.

Match #4
Tex Slazenger and Shanghai Pierce vs. Tribal Nation
Two tag teams debut. Slazenger and Pierce are two rugged cowboys, and Tribal Nation are a great Native American team. Pierce starts with Brave Sky. Pierce is very aggressive, and he has Brave Sky in trouble. They back the Native American into the corner. Both cowboys dish out punishment. Referee John Keaton begins to count. They break at four, but go right back to the attack. Finally Brave Sky escapes and tags in Nocona. He cleans house, and the crowd goes crazy. Slazenger tags in, and the pace of the match picks up as both teams battle it out. Finally, all four men end up in the ring. Keaton can no longer control the action. He calls for the bell and disqualifies both teams.
Result- Double Disqualification
Marc Lowrance is in the interview area.
Lowrance, “Fans, I hope you are enjoying WWA action. Last week we had a huge surprise. This man made a surprise appearance.”
Hulk Hogan comes out.
Lowrance, “Hulk, welcome to the WWA.”
Hogan, “Thank you Marc Lowrance! When the powers that be asked me if I wanted to come to the WWA, I jumped at the chance! The training, the prayers and the vitamins, have got me ready for the best competition, and here I am!”
Lowrance, “We are going to crown a World Champion soon, I know you are interested.”
Hogan, “Well you know something Marc Lowrance, the ‘Hulkster’ is all about winning titles, so I want this one! And Marc Lowrance, what’s the WWA gonna’ do when ‘Hulkamania’ comes running over you?!”
Lowrance, “Hulk Hogan is in the WWA.”
Match #5
B. Brian Blair vs. “Maniac” Mike Davis
Blair debuts in the WWA. The “Maniac” attacks Brian. Blair fights back, and we have a pier six brawl. Davis breaks every rule in the book, but Blair is ready for it. He clamps on the sleeper, and Davis is out.
Winner- B. Brain Blair
Match #6
Sam Houston w/Baby Doll vs. Rip Morgan
The popular Houston is accompanied by the legendary Baby Doll. Morgan is a tough Kiwi from New Zealand. Morgan is very aggressive. He punches and kicks away at Houston. Baby Doll is worried at ringside. She shouts encouragement. Houston starts to fire back. He gives up size, but he is game. Now Morgan is in trouble. Rip leaves the ring to regroup. Morgan returns and the fight continues. Finally Houston hits a bulldog for the win.
Winner- Sam Houston
Marc Lowrance is with “Playboy” Gary Hart and the Great Kabuki.
Lowrance, “With me are ‘Playboy’ Gary Hart and the Great Kabuki. Mr. Hart, there is a lot going on in the WWA. You have you fingers in a lot of things, and you have the Great Kabuki.”
Hart, “Marc Lowrance, you are an intelligent young man. You have seen Gary Hart at work for a long time. You have also seen the ‘Boogie Man’ in action. We are heading to the top of the WWA, and Scorpio is a roadblock. He’s a fine young wrestler, but he is in the way. Kabuki will take him out.”
Lowrance, “Our main event is next.”
Match #7
The Great Kabuki w/“Playboy” Gary Hart vs. 2Cold Scorpio
The bell rings and Kabuki spits the green mist into the air. They lock up. Scorpio is young and athletic. He uses that skill to take down Kabuki. Kabuki escapes, and goes after Scorpio. Kabuki goes to the martial arts. Hart shouts instructions from ringside. Kabuki backs Scorpio into the corner. Scorpio fires back, and now Kabuki is in retreat. Hart is now worried. Kabuki goes for a thrust kick, but misses. Scorpio scoops him up and slams him to the mat. Scorpio climbs to the top rope, and hits the 450 splash. Hart is livid. The crowd goes crazy for the man from Colorado.
Winner- 2Cold Scorpio
Mike Tenay and Dusty Rhodes close the show.
Tenay, “Dusty, more excitement in the WWA!”
Rhodes, “Mike Tenay, excitement all over the place! That old Gary Hart got a lesson tonight! That 2Cold Scorpio is full of soul, just like me baby! Kabuki, tonight you were just an errand boy, and you failed!”
Tenay, “Well, next week is going to be just as exciting. We will announce the tag teams who will wrestle for the World Tag Team Championship, and the two men who will meet for the World Title. That’s not all. Our main event will be Moadib, the ‘Nubian Terror’ will take on the legendary…’Superfly’ Jimmy Snuka!”
Rhodes, “The ‘Superfly’! Another great one!”
Tenay, “What a night it’s going to be!”
