Brickhouse Brown vs. Marc Valiant
Two muscular men meet in the opener. The crowd is strongly behind Brown. He controls the early action. Valiant tries underhanded tactics, but Brown is too much. He uses a powerslam for the win.

Tribal Nation vs. Rod Price and Gary Young
Tribal Nation has returned from a successful tour of Japan. Price and Young are rugged. We should have a good one. Nocona and Price open the match. Price using his strength to get off to a good start. Nocona fights back, and the pace quickens. Price is in trouble, and he tags in Young. The veteran from Little Rock. Slows the pace. Brave Sky tags in and takes over. He nds up dropping Young with a tomahawk chop and covers him for the win.

Global Jr. Heavyweight Championship
Chaz (Champion) vs. Scott Putski
Chaz has looked good as the champion. Putski is very talented. The bell rings and we are underway. Chaz is in control early. He gets a near fall, but Scott kicks out. The crowd is into the contest. Putski mounts a comeback. Finally, both men end up brawling on the arena floor. Referee James Beard’s count reaches 20. Both men are counted out.
Result- Double Count Out

Billy Black w/Buddy Roberts vs. Johnny Mantell
The athletic Black takes on the rugged cowboy from Wise, TX. “Tex” Roberts puts the bad mouth on Mantell. Black jumps Johnny. The first few minutes of the match belong to the man from Georgia. Mantell fights back, and we have a competitive match. Both men have their chances. In the end Black hits a moonsault for the win.

Sam Houston w/Baby Doll vs. Rip Morgan
The rugged Kiwi debut against the popular Houston. The crowd goes crazy when the legendary Baby Doll is introduced. Morgan starts fast. He uses no wrestling moves, but punishes Houston. Baby Doll looks worried at ringside. Houston starts to rally. The crowd gets behind him. He takes over and wins with the bulldog.

Match #6
Jimmy Jack Funk vs. “Outlaw” Joel Deaton w/Buddy Roberts
This should be a brawl. Funk starts fast, and “Tex” Roberts is livid at ringside. Funk chokes away at Deaton. Despite his tactics, the crowd loves Funk. Deaton fires back, and we have a brawl. Both men slug it out. Deaton goes for a sleep hold, but Funk snap mares him to the mat. JJ goes for a shoulder breaker, but Roberts runs in and attack Funk. Referee John Keaton calls for the bell, and disqualifies the Outlaw.
Winner- Jimmy Jack Funk (Disqualification)
Marc Lowrance and Max Andrews are in the ring.
Lowrance, “What a night! The action has been fantastic, and is going to get even better. With me is GWF President Max Andrews, welcome President Andrews.”
Andrews, “Thank you Marc.”
Lowrance, “I know you have a big announcement for us.”
Andrews, “I do Marc. People have been asking, when will the GWF do a pay per view? Well, I have the answer, September 3, 1989. We will be at the Tarrant County Civic Center for ‘Labor Day Star Wars’. We will have more information in the coming weeks.”
Just then the lights go out. The ring is bathed in red light. We hear,
“The world is evil, seek the signs. Seek goodness. Copperhead Jones will lead you into the light.”
The lights come back on, and Lowrance and Andrews are dumbfounded.

Iceman King Parsons and 2Cold Scorpio vs. Black Bart, the Super Destroyer and General Skandor Akbar
We have a handicap tag team match. Akbar has talked a lot, and now he has to back it up. Parsons and Bart start the contest. The big cowboy roughs up the Iceman, but Parsons fights back. We have a fast paced contest. SD tags in and traps Parsons and dishes out punishment. With the Iceman in trouble Akbar tags in. He tags in and gets in a few shots, and tags out. The action continues. Every time their opponents are in trouble Akbar tags in and gets in a few shots. All five men end up in the ring. In the confusion Parsons hits the butt bump on Akbar, and covers him for the win. A very popular win.

Texas Championship
Moadib (Champion) vs. The Patriot
Akbar is not with Moadib, he must still be injured from the tag team match. “The Nubian Terror” attacks the masked man. The Patriot is in early trouble. The Houston campaign crowd are on their feet. They get behind the Patriot and he rallies. He lands rights and lefts and Moadib is retreating. Both men slug it out. The rest of the match continues to be a brawl. Both men end up on the floor. Referee John Keaton counts 20. We have a double count out.

Global Tag Team Championship
Bobby Duncum Jr. and Big John Hawk (Champions) w/Buddy Roberts vs. The Simpson Brothers
The popular South African brothers have been chasing the Champions, and have come very close, but have not been able to capture the titles. Shaun starts with Hawk. Big John uses his size and strength to control the early action. He traps Simpson in the corner and works him over. Shaun is able to escape and tag in his brother. Steve hits the ring a house afire. Hawk retreats and tags in Duncum. The second generation Texan goes to work. The action is intense. Roberts shouts instructions to his men. The action continues with both teams tagging and out. Finally, Steve hits a flying body press on Duncum. Referee James Beard counts 1…2…3! The Simpsons are the Champions! Shaun and Steve celebrate in the ring. The lights go out, and the same red light appears. We hear the same voice.
“This is an evil victory. Simpsons, you are evil, that is clear. You represent the ‘modern world’. You wear long hair, and act in decadent ways. You have not seen the signs. Copperhead Jones will show you the way.”
Shaun and Steve stand in the ring with the titles in their hands.

Kevin Von Erich (Champion) vs. The One Man Gang w/“Playboy” Gary Hart
The crowd goes crazy as Kevin comes to the ring. He is up against it with the huge “Moon” on the other side of the ring. James Beard calls for the bell. Both men start slowly. They know one mistake can cost them the match. Things begin to go the Gang’s way. He uses his size to gain the edge. OMG pounds away. The crowd is worried. Gary Hart shouts instructions to his man. Kevin begins to fight back. He is a man possessed. Now the Gang is in retreat. He rolls out of the ring and confers with Hart. OMG comes back to the ring, and tries to slow down Kevin. Nothing will stop Von Erich. Kevin whips OMG in the corner, but Beard is in the way. The referee goes down hard. Kevin stands in mid ring. Suddenly, the Great Kabuki appears behind the Champion! Where did he come from? Kabuki spits the green mist into Kevin’s eyes. Kevin goes down. OMG covers him, and Kabuki jumps out of the ring. Beard gets to his feet and counts the fall! One Man Gang is the North American Champion!
