Lee Marshall, Larry Zbyszko and Scott Hudson announce that "Mr. Wonderful" Paul Orndorff will be the guest on Ric Flair's Flair for the Gold tonight so they can go face-to-face, plus:
Cactus Jack vs. Meng
The Stud Stable vs. American Males
WCW World Tag Team Championships: Steiner Brothers vs. Michael Hayes' Badstreet
WCW World Heavyweight Championship: Vader vs. Earthquake
Backstage, Missy Hyatt speaks with WCW World Television Champion Johnny B. Badd about disparaging comments made in recent weeks by Lord Steven Regal.
Badd: "Missy, Lord Regal may think he's fancy, but he ain't as pretty as Johnny B. Badd! But Regal, don't you forget, I'm not just pretty, I'm a baaaaaad man too!"
Match #1:
Cactus Jack vs. Meng (w/ Colonel Robert Parker)
This match barely gets under way as the two brawl around the ringside area. Meng no-sells a Double Arm DDT but seems to weaken after a Cactus Clothesline to the floor. Col. Parker calls out to the back - bringing out Stud Stable members Bunkhouse Buck, Dick Murdoch and 'Mean' Mike Enos to jump Cactus.
It's a five-on-one beatdown until none other than Kevin Sullivan slides into the ring, with Maxx Payne shortly behind him. Parker flees to the floor as Cactus, Sullivan and Payne clean house - leading to Meng being held back once again on the floor from fighting everyone.
At ringside, Lee Marshall speaks with this unlikely trio of Cactus Jack, Kevin Sullivan and Maxx Payne - and the camera pans to a balding, bearded guy in the front row cheering Kevin Sullivan.
Cactus Jack: "Col. Parker, I bet you didn't think Cactus Jack had any friends. Well, you were almost right - these aren't my friends. These are my brothers - and now you've started a war you will never win. Bang Bang!"

Backstage, Missy Hyatt is joined by the manager of the WCW World Heavyweight Champion Vader - the legendary Harley Race.
Race: "Tonight will be a lesson for everyone in this locker-room. You should never, ever provoke the Rocky Mountain Bull - and after tonight, there will be nobody left! Nobody wants to face Vader."
Match #2:
The Stud Stable (w/ Col. Robert Parker) vs. American Males
The brawl from earlier sparks again as Cactus jumps Col. Parker, bringing out Meng and Dick Murdoch to attack Jack until Kevin Sullivan and Maxx Payne return to fight through the crowd with the Stud Stable. In the ring, Bunkhouse Buck is distracted, allowing Marcus Alexander Bagwell to roll him up for the pin. The fan from before, in the front row, cheers as Col. Parker argues with him.

Missy Hyatt stands by with "Ravishing" Rick Rude, following Rude calling out WCW United States Heavyweight Champion Ricky Steamboat last week.
Rude: "It's real simple Missy, even a bimbo like you can understand! I never lost the US Championship - I happened to get injured and then WCW took my championship from. Steamboat is a fraud and a liar. You are not the man these idiots out there think you are - and I'll prove it."
Match #3:
WCW World Tag Team Championship Match
The Steiner Brothers vs. Michael Hayes' Badstreet
The masked team managed by Michael Hayes are known as Freebird and Fantasia - and they give the Steiners a tough match that ends in a 15.00 draw. Rick and Scott seem to want another go at Badstreet after the match.

WCW United States Heavyweight Champion Ricky Steamboat speaks with Missy Hyatt.
Steamboat: "Missy, I'm already tired of Rick Rude running his mouth out here. He says I'm not the man these fans think I am? Well, Rude, we all know who YOU are - a blowhard who has way too high of an opinion of himself. Make no mistake, this championship is mine. If you want it back, all you have to do is beat me for it. But I don't think you can do that."
A Flair for the Gold segment begins with maid Fefe handing "Nature Boy" Ric Flair a marinate.
Ric Flair: "I think we finally know what's causing all this, and you are looking at him! Fefe, looking as only she can look, and the Nature Boy? Now that's a winning combination. Woooo! Now, let's get down to business. Mr. Wondeful, let's see if you have the guts to say what you have to say to my face?"
"Mr. Wonderful" Paul Orndorff makes his way onto the set and scouts at the boos of the crowd.
Flair: "Orndorff, you and me, we've been like ships passing in the night for a decade now. Well, here we are - say what you want to say to my face."
Orndorff: "You wanna know what I have to say? Well, I happen to think you are nothing but a Mr. Wonderful ripoff. You ripped of my robe, that hair style of yours, that was mine too! Flair, you made your career off my name!"
Flair: "Orndorff, I think you've been hit in the head too many times. I was wearing the finest robes when you were still bar-hopping in Tampa with Terry. You gotta do better than that."
Orndorff: "Oh, is that right? How about this?"
Orndorff hauls off and decks Flair! As Flair starts to pull himself up, Orndorff grabs the silver drink platter from Fefe and bashes it over Flair's head. Mr. Wonderful then stuns the crowd by pile-driving Flair on the floor!
Officials rush out to tend to Flair as Paul Orndorff shouts at the camera that he's #1!

Backstage, Missy Hyatt updates fans that Ric Flair has been taken to a local medical center because there are fears he has a concussion. She sends it back to the ring.
TV Main Event:
WCW World Heavyweight Champion Vader (w/ Harley Race) vs. Earthquake
Vader absolutely destroys Earthquake in this match, battering him in the corner for a few moments before slamming him and then coming off the ropes with a Vader Splash to score the pin.
After the match, Harley Race gets on the microphone and says there's nobody who can compete with Vader - he is "the man"...
The familiar music begins playing, before none other than Sid Vicious charges out from the dressing room. Race is startled and then convinces Vader to leave the ring as Sid enters and drops to one knee as the fans chant his name. Sid calls for a close camera shot as he proclaims that he is "the man" - nobody else!
Lee Marshall, Larry Zbyszko and Scott Hudson wrap up the show.
