Lee Marshall: Welcome, ladies and gentlemen, to WCW's "Worldwide Wrestling"! We have an electrifying show lined up for you today, building on the intense rivalries from last week.
Scott Hudson: That's right, Lee. The stakes are high, and the wrestlers are ready to prove their mettle in the squared circle. Let's not waste any more time and dive right into the action!

WCW United States Champion Ricky Steamboat is in the ring to speak with Miss Hyatt when "Ravishing" Rick Rude interrupts.
Rick Rude: Steamboat, you stole the title I was forced to forfeit! You're nothing but a paper champion until you can pin my shoulders to the mat 1-2-3... and we both know you can't do that!
Ricky Steamboat: If you want to settle this, Rude, let's do it in the ring. Next week, you and I will face off for the WCW United States Championship.

Match 1: Lord Steven Regal vs. Sgt. Craig Pittman.
Result: Lord Steven Regal secures the victory by forcing Sgt. Craig Pittman to submit to the Regal Stretch.

WCW World Television Champion Johnny B. Badd joins the commentary team.
Johnny B. Badd: Regal's insults about the US prove he's just a jealous man. "Jealousy ain't pretty on his Lordship." He's just envious of my success!

Join me and Fefe next week on "Flair for the Gold," and we can settle this man to man. In WCW, to be the man, you have to beat the man. And, Orndorff, you've never beaten 'the man.'

Result: Avalanche dominates the match and finishes off Don Muraco with an Avalanche splash in the corner.

Avalanche grabs the microphone and cuts a furious promo.
Avalanche: I'm the toughest 'big man' in wrestling! Vader, if you have the guts to put the WCW World Heavyweight Championship on the line, I will squash you like a stinking bug! Let's see if you have the guts or if you're a stinkin' coward!
