Lowrance, “Welcome to ‘Global Championship Wrestling’. Summer is here and the action is getting hotter. Tonight will be no different. The North American Champion, Kevin Von Erich, will be in action. We have an exciting main event. 2Cold Scorpio takes on Black Bart. That means General Skandor Akbar, the Super Destroyer, and Iceman King Parsons will be around. We will also talk about ‘Independence Day Star Wars’. Let’s go to Doyle King.”
Match #1
Brickhouse Brown vs. Steven Dane
Two very good athletes meet in the opener. The match is scientific. They exchange holds and counter holds. Both men have their chances. In the end Brown lands a powerslam for the win.
Winner- Brickhouse Brown
Match #2
“Outlaw” Joel Deaton w/Buddy Roberts vs. Rex King
“Tex” Roberts leads the rugged Deaton into action. King is competent, but Deaton may be too much. Rex starts quickly, he has Deaton on the run. He takes to the floor and confers with Roberts. Joel returns to the ring, and takes over. He wins with the super kick. Roberts has a good one.
Winner- Joel Deaton
Doyle King is with Kevin Von Erich.
King, “With me is the North American Champion Kevin Von Erich. You have held the tile for some time, but there are a lot of guys lining up to challenge you.”
Kevin, “Yes they are. Doyle, the Von Erichs have always wrestled for the fans, and that’s what I’m doing.”
King, “Well, we can announce tonight that, next week, we will announce the man who you will face at ‘Independence Day Star Wars’. It could be anyone.”
Kevin, “There are a lot of deserving men, and I’m not going to back down from anyone.”
King, “Next week, we will announce who will face Kevin in Houston, and next, Kevin will be in the ring!”
Match #3
Non Title Match
Kevin Von Erich (North American Champion) vs. “Hollywood” John Tatum
This will be a good one between two veterans. They lock up and we are underway. Tatum holds his own, but the Champion takes over. Tatum tries every underhanded trick he knows. Kevin is too much. He hits a flying body press for the win.
Winner- Kevin Von Erich
Match #4
The Simpson Brothers vs. Action Jackson and Nick Busick
The popular South Africans have a win over the Champions. They will face Roberts’ men in Houston. Shaun opens the match with Jackson. Both men are quick and they show it. Things go the Smpson’s way. Steve tags in, and Jackson is in trouble. Busick tags in. He tries to use his size, but Steve is too much. He uses a sunset flip for the win.
Winner- The Simpsons
Marc Lowrance is seated in the studio.
Lowrance, “Welcome fans July 2 is fast approaching. The GWF will be in Houston at the Sam Houston Coliseum for ‘Independence Day Star Wars’. The GWF always presents the best in wrestling action. Last week we learned that the Global Tag Team Titles will be on the line. Buddy Roberts’ team of Bobby Duncum Jr. and Big John Hawk will defend the titles against the Simpson Brothers. The South Africans hold a non title win over the champions. Will they add the titles in Houston? Tonight we found out that Kevin Von Erich will defend the North American Title that night. Next week we will find out against whom. Finally, we can add another title match. The Texas Title will be on the line. General Skandor Akbar’s man, Moadib, will defend against the Patriot. What a night it will be!”

2Cold Scorpio w/Iceman King Parsons vs. Black Bart w/General Skandor Akbar and the Super Destroyer
This one will be wild. We have five men in, and around the ring. James Beard will try to referee this one. The bell rings and we are underway. Scorpio takes to the air. This frustrates Bart, and he rolls out of the ring. He confers with Akbar and the Super D. He returns and the action continues. Bart roughs up the man from Denver. Scorpio fights back, and we have a brawl on our hands. Bart uses every underhanded tactic he knows. Scorpio is able to clamp on a sleephold. This brings SD and Akbar into the ring followed by Parsons. Akbar smashes Scorpio with his cane. Beard disqualifies Bart. Akbar and his men are on the floor. Parsons grabs the mic.
Parsons, “Listen to me you roody poohs, Akbar you want to get involved. How about you put on the tights, and in Houston, it will be Scorpio and me against you guys…2 on 3!”
The crowd goes crazy.
Winner- 2Cold Scorpio (Disqualification)
Marc Lowrance closes the show.
Lowrance, “What action. Things are heating up in Texas. Next week will be an important show. We will find out who will challenge Kevin Von Erich for the North American Title. It appears 2Cold Scorpio and Iceman King Parsons have challenged Akbar and his men to a two on three tag team match. What will Akbar say? Finally, we have a six man main event, the Simpson Brothers and Sam Houston will face Buddy Roberts’ men, Bobby Duncum Jr., Big John Hawk, and Billy Black, don’t miss this show.”
