MONDAY, MAY 2, 1994 LIVE FROM THE LOUISVILLE GARDENS IN LOUISVILLE, KENTUCKY
AIRING FROM 8pm - 9pm EST ON THE USA NETWORKBefore the opening airs, we see footage of the Shawn Michaels – Mr. Perfect parking lot brawl from last week’s show.Raw Opening: 1994GORILLA MONSOON and BOBBY HEENAN welcome us to Louisville, Kentucky for another edition of MONDAY NIGHT RAW!!!GORILLA hypes tonight’s show, while BOBBY once again complains about how Mr. Perfect jumped Shawn Michaels from behind in the parking lot. GORILLA and BOBBY are joined at ringside by Intercontinental Champion STEVE AUSTIN and SHAWN MICHAELS. MICHAELS complains about the attack last week, saying that Perfect is a coward, he jumped Michaels from behind in the parking lot. He says that he’s going to make Perfect pay for his actions by ending his career. STEVE AUSTIN then talks about WWF Champion Lex Luger. Last week, Luger said, in front of millions of people, that he would give Austin a shot at the World Title. Austin says he wants the fans to know what kind of person Lex Luger REALLY is. He says that Luger will come out here and talk a big game in front of his fans, but in reality, Luger’s done everything he can to avoid having to get in the ring with Steve Austin! AUSTIN then issues a challenge to Luger, he tells him to put his money where his mouth is, and face him RIGHT HERE NEXT WEEK ON RAW! STEVE continues, saying he knows that Luger won’t put the title on the line, there’s no way Luger would risk losing his precious belt on television, but that’s just fine with him. He doesn’t care if it’s a title match or not, he just wants all of Luger’s fans to watch Austin defeat and humiliate their precious Champion! HOWARD FINKEL introduces the competitors for the first match. THE QUEBECERS v. TERRY TAYLOR & BOB HOLLY – The veteran Taylor and the youngster Holly work surprisingly well together, and give the Quebecers a run for their money in the first few minutes. Soon, the Quebecers take control of the match, and isolate Terry Taylor in their corner. Jacques and Pierre send a message to Demolition by using their signature move, the Demolition Decapitation on Taylor, leading to the pinfall! After the match, the Quebecers get on the house mic, and say that they do the move even better than Demolition, they do EVERYTHING better than Demolition, and then rant and rave in French about what they’re going to do to the Champs on May 29 in Toronto. . . . . . . COMMERCIAL BREAK . . . . . . Back from the break, GORILLA talks about the return of WWF SUPERSTARS, this Saturday morning at 10am on USA Network. He tells the fans outside of the United States that the show will be broadcast on local TV outlets all over the World, just as RAW is. SEAN MOONEY is in the WWF EVENT CENTERMOONEY says that the next big event from the World Wrestling Federation will be In Your House: Canadian Collision! The event will take place on Sunday night, May 29 and will originate from the SkyDome in Toronto, Ontario, Canada! It will be broadcast LIVE on the home of the WWF, the USA Network! And much, much more![/glow] MOONEY says that Canada’s own WILLIAM SHATNER will be special guest host for the event! We then go to pre-recorded comments from ROWDY RODDY PIPER, concerning his Texas Bullrope Match at Canadian Collision with John Hawk. PIPER says that the Bullrope match might be John Hawk’s kind of match, and it’s true that the last time they saw each other, Hawk busted him open with that cowbell. But Piper says that what Hawk did to him is NOTHING compared to the pain that he’s going to inflict on John Hawk with that bullrope on May 29 in Toronto!Back in the Event Center, MOONEY says that, on top of all the big matches that will take place, there will be a huge, non-televised bonus match, a special treat just for the fans in attendance. Back at ringside, BOBBY and GORILLA discuss the big “In Your House” event coming up on May 29 from the SkyDome in Toronto, then send us to the ring for the next match. HOWARD FINKEL introduces the competitors for the next match. HULK HOGAN v. RENO RIGGINS – The Hulkster dominates his opponent, finishing Riggins off with the Big Boot and Legdrop for the pinfall at 2:05. . . . . . . COMMERCIAL BREAK . . . . . . Back from the break, we go to the set of PIPER’S PIT. HOT ROD introduces his guest this week, the reigning WWF Champion LEX LUGERLUGER comes and shakes hands with Piper. RODDY asks about the comments made earlier by Steve Austin, suggesting that Luger is afraid to put the title on the line against Austin. LUGER just smiles and says he remembers another bleached-blond who liked to talk smack about Luger. Lex says that he put that loudmouth in his place, and he’ll do the same to Steve Austin! LEX continues, saying that if Austin wants a match here next week, then he’s got it! At that point, a man comes out and hands something to Roddy Piper. PIPER, looking confused, reads it to himself. Piper then tells Luger that it says that since Luger’s birthday is coming up in a few weeks, there will be a special early birthday gift for him this coming Saturday on the return of WWF Superstars. LUGER takes the note from Piper and reads it over himself, and then wonders aloud what this is all about. PIPER says we’ll have to wait until Saturday to find out, and then wishes Luger luck in his match next Monday night with Steve Austin. HOWARD FINKEL introduces the competitors for the next match. JOHN HAWK (w/ Bob Orton, Jr.) v. DUANE GILL – Hawk carries the cowbell that he used to bloody Roddy Piper to the ring with him. Hawk destroys his opponent, hitting Gill with a vicious Lariat for the pinfall at 3:00. Gill has to be stretchered out of the ring afterwards. . . . . . . COMMERCIAL BREAK . . . . . . GORILLA and BOBBY talk about what happened during the Piper’s Pit segment, and wonder what this gift for Lex Luger will be, and who’s behind it. BOBBY says that, as the Brain, he knows everything that’s going on in the World Wrestling Federation, and he knows who’s behind this gift. But, as usual, he’s keeping it to himself. BOBBY and GORILLA are then joined by THE WINDHAM BROTHERS. GORILLA says that Barry and Kendall have a golden opportunity on May 29, they’ll meet the Headshrinkers, and the winning team gets a shot at the WWF World Tag Team Titles! BARRY says that this is what he and Kendall have been working towards since they came to the World Wrestling Federation. He says that they’ve been training harder than ever, they’ve been watching hours and hours of tape of the Headshrinkers, and he’s confident that they’ll be victorious. He tells Demolition to watch out, because the Windham Brothers are coming after the World Tag Team titles! KENDALL says this is a huge opportunity for him and Barry. He’s not taking anything away from the Headshrinkers, they’ve met them before, he knows how tough they are, but he and Barry are focused, and nothing is going to get between them and the WWF Tag Team Titles. Suddenly, AFA and his HEADSHRINKERS show up! AFA tells the Windhams that they are soft, and they will not be able to withstand the pain that his Headshrinkers are going to inflict on them on May 29! He says that the Headshrinkers will be the next World Tag Team Champions! The Windhams and the Samoans have a staredown, as THE QUEBECERS arrive on the scene! JACQUES says that these two teams can beat the hell out of each other on May 29 for all he cares, because while they’re doing that, he and Pierre will be wrestling, and BEATING, Demolition to once again become WWF Tag Team Champions. PIERRE says it makes no difference to him and Jacques who wins between the Windhams and the Headshrinkers, because neither team stands a chance against the Quebecers! Things get tense, as all three teams stare each other down. At that point, BARRY WINDHAM says that they could settle this right now, he challenges both the Quebecers and Headshrinkers to get in the ring with him and Kendall right now, for a good ol’ fashioned brawl, and we’ll see who the toughest team really is! BARRY and KENDALL climb into the ring, and call for the other two teams to join them as we cut to a commercial break. . . . . . . COMMERCIAL BREAK . . . . . . Back from the break, BARRY and KENDALL WINDHAM are still in the ring. JACQUES says that they’re not going to be getting in the ring with them tonight, he knows what the Windham’s are up to, they know that they won’t be able to defeat the Quebecers, so they want to try and injure them tonight, so that they won’t be able to regain the belts on May 29! With that, Jacques and Pierre head to the locker room. AFA says that his Headshrinkers would love nothing more than to tear the Windhams limb from limb, but they’ll do it on May 29. After Afa and the Headshrinkers leave, the Windham Brothers join Gorilla and Bobby at ringside. BARRY says that on May 29, they’ll show everyone that they’re the better team, and then says that he hopes the Quebecers do regain the belts on May 29, because he would love nothing more than to beat them for the belts, and shut them up, once and for all! We go to pre-recorded comments from WILLIAM SHATNER. SHATNER says that he’s so excited to be hosting “In Your House: Canadian Collision” on May 29 from SkyDome in Toronto. He talks a little about one match that he’s particularly looking forward to, the Hulk Hogan vs. Yokozuna match. He says that he’s got to know Hogan quite well over the years, as Hulk has spent plenty of time in Hollywood, and says he’ll be rooting for the Hulkster on May 29! HOWARD FINKEL introduces the competitors for the main event. ULTIMATE WARRIOR & HACKSAW DUGGAN v. BIG VAN VADER & THE BERZERKER – This match is nothing but a brawl, and referee Earl Hebner has his work cut out for him right from the opening bell. Several times in the match, all four men brawl in the ring. The end comes when, while the Warrior is brawling with the Berzerker on the arena floor, Big Van Vader drops Duggan on his head with a huge Powerbomb, leading to the pinfall at 8:11. . . . . . . COMMERCIAL BREAK . . . . . . MONSOON and HEENAN wrap things up, and hype next week’s show, which will see Lex Luger square off with Steve Austin in a non-title match. GORILLA also reminds the fans that WWF SUPERSTARS returns this Saturday, May 7, at 10am on USA Network. Apparently there will be an early birthday gift for Lex Luger on the show! —CLOSING CREDITS—

On one side will be the Tag Champs Demolition and the Windham brothers, their opponents will be the Quebecers and the Headshrinkers. And of course, the feature match they talked about last week, Lex Luger meets Steve Austin in a non-title match. BOBBY talks about the clip we saw before the intro, of Madusa appearing out of a giant birthday cake, and then Steve Austin and Shawn Michaels attacking Lex Luger. GORILLA says we don’t know what kind of shape Luger’s going to be in for the match tonight. GORILLA and HEENAN are then joined by Intercontinental Champion STEVE AUSTIN, and the woman who popped out of Lex Luger’s birthday cake on Superstars. She tells them that her name is MADUSA! AUSTIN says that Madusa has wrestled in America, Canada, Japan and Mexico, and he refers to her as the “First Lady of Wrestling”. GORILLA asks about Superstars, where she popped out of the birthday cake, and distracted Lex Luger so that Austin and Michaels could get the jump on him. AUSTIN cuts in, and says that Madusa was brought to the World Wrestling Federation for a specific purpose, and his “money man” is making sure that Madusa is being paid VERY well for her services. Late in the match, while the Windham brothers are brawling with the Headshrinkers outside the ring, Demolition fight with the Quebecers inside. Smash and Crush are able to get the upper hand, and knock Jacques from the ring. Demolition then nails Pierre with the Demolition Decapitation for the pinfall victory. We go to pre-recorded comments from WILLIAM SHATNER. SHATNER is standing in front of a WWF banner. He says that he can’t wait to host “In Your House: Canadian Collision” on May 29 at SkyDome in Toronto. BILL says that he may just be the host of the show, but if any of the wrestlers get out of line, he won’t hesitate to lay down the law and put them in their place! Back at ringside, GORILLA and BOBBY discuss Shatner as the special host on May 29 at SkyDome. HEENAN says he’d like to see Shatner try and “lay down the law” with someone like HBK, John Hawk or Yokozuna! BOBBY laughs, and says what a sight it would be, watching Yokozuna BONZAI William Shatner! . . . . . . COMMERCIAL BREAK . . . . . . EIJI EZAKI – There is a huge size difference here, and Vader takes full advantage, tossing Ezaki around like a ragdoll. Vader squashes his much smaller opponent, delivering a devastating powerbomb for the pinfall. Afterwards, Vader goes for a second Powerbomb on Ezaki, but THE ULTIMATE WARRIOR rushes to the ring! Warrior and Vader brawl while Ezaki is helped from the ring. . . . . . . COMMERCIAL BREAK . . . . . . GORILLA and HEENAN talk about what we saw before the break. MONSOON says that the Vader – Warrior match at In Your House is going to be a real slobberknocker. We then go to the set of PIPER’S PIT. HOT ROD introduces his guests this week, the reigning WWF Champion LEX LUGER and MR. PERFECT. PIPER talks about what happened on Saturday on Superstars, where Lex was attacked by Steve Austin and Shawn Michaels. Footage is shown from Superstars, with Madusa coming out of a giant cake, distracting Lex Luger, and the beatdown from Steve Austin and Shawn Michaels. Mr. Perfect made the save.RODDY says that tonight, the question on everybody’s mind is, will Luger be 100% for his match with Steve Austin? LUGER says that he’s not 100%, but that isn’t going to stop him from going out there, giving it his all, and whupping Steve Austin! MR. PERFECT says that this is what he’s been telling everyone all along, this is what Shawn Michaels and Steve Austin are all about, they know they can’t get the job done on their own in the ring, so they attack people from behind, to try and gain an advantage. PERFECT then asks Luger to be his tag team partner on May 29 at SkyDome in Toronto, against Austin and Michaels. LEX accepts, saying he would be honoured. PIPER says that the fans definitely are not going to want to miss that match on May 29! GORILLA and BOBBY talk about what we just saw. BOBBY is disgusted, he says that he brought Luger to the WWF in early 1993, to destroy Perfect and run him out of the WWF, since Ric Flair couldn’t get the job done. Now Luger and Perfect are tag team partners?!?! It makes him sick! HOWARD FINKEL introduces the competitors for the next match. BOB ORTON joins Monsoon and Heenan for commentary. JOHN HAWK v. TERRY TAYLOR – The veteran Taylor gives Hawk a tough match early on, but Big John soon takes over, and destroys Taylor, hitting him with a vicious Lariat for the pinfall. Afterwards, Taylor has to be stretchered out of the ring. Orton spends the whole match on commentary, talking about what Hawk is going to do to Roddy Piper in their Texas Bullrope match on May 29. Orton says that the Bullrope match is Hawk’s match, he’s never lost one, and he’s going to destroy Piper at the SkyDome! . . . . . . COMMERCIAL BREAK . . . . . . We see an ad for the upcoming issue of WWF MAGAZINE. BIG VAN VADER is on the cover, and inside, a feature on the career of HULK HOGAN, including his forays into Hollywood. GORILLA and HEENAN are joined by THE ULTIMATE WARRIOR. MONSOON talks about Warrior’s match coming up with Vader on May 29, and quickly recaps the history between them, starting with Vader showing up unannounced at the Royal Rumble, and costing the Warrior his match with Yokozuna. WARRIOR does his usual ranting and raving, making very little sense. He says something about the Gods giving him the power to strike Vader down, and the earth opening up to swallow Vader. . . . . . . COMMERCIAL BREAK . . . . . . HOWARD FINKEL introduces the competitors for the next match. NON-TITLE MATCH LEX LUGER v. “STUNNING” STEVE AUSTIN (w/ Madusa) – Madusa is at ringside with Austin, and she exchanges words with Luger prior to the match starting. The two men put on an exciting match for about 6 or 7 minutes, until SHAWN MICHAELS comes down and distracts Luger. This brings MR. PERFECT out, and he brawls with Michaels on the floor. HBK slides into the ring, and Perfect follows him in. We end up with Perfect and Luger brawling with Austin and Michaels, and referee Dave Hebner calls for the bell, throwing the match out. As the show ends, the four men are still brawling in the ring. MONSOON and HEENAN wrap things up, and hype next week’s show. —CLOSING CREDITS—

He says that Hawk prides himself as the “King of the Bullrope match”, and has never lost one. MONSOON then sends us to a video package of Bob Orton, Jr. and John Hawk, at Hawk’s ranch in Texas. We see Bob Orton standing in front of the camera, with John Hawk in the background. Hawk’s surrounded by several men, and has the Texas Bullrope attached to his wrist.
ORTON says that John Hawk has been training hard for this match, and now, they’re going to give everyone a taste of what’s in store for Roddy Piper on May 29.
HAWK, who’s attached at the wrist with one of the other men, proceeds to beat the man to a pulp with the cowbell. After a few minutes of that, the man signals that he’s had enough. Hawk gives him a couple more kicks for good measure.
HAWK then asks if any of the other men want to spar with him, but they all shake their heads, and walk away.
ORTON laughs, and says that May 29 is not going to be a good night for Roddy Piper! After the video ends, GORILLA MONSOON is standing in the aisleway, and he’s joined by ROWDY RODDY PIPER. MONSOON asks Hot Rod for his thoughts on what we just saw. PIPER says that John Hawk looks big and bad, beating up on some clown who’s probably never stepped foot inside a wrestling ring, but it’s going to be a different story when Hawk steps into the ring with the HOT ROD! RODDY says that Hawk has never lost a Texas Bullrope match, but that means nothing to him, he ain’t afraid of that bullrope and he sure as hell ain’t afraid of John Hawk! MONSOON wishes Roddy luck in the match, and we cut to a commercial break. . . . . . . COMMERCIAL BREAK . . . . . . HOWARD FINKEL introduces the competitors for the next match. BIG VAN VADER v. THE WHITE KNIGHT – The Knight is in for a rough night, as Vader pounces on him as soon as the bell rings. The entire match is Vader pummeling the poor masked man. In the end, Vader delivers a vicious Powerbomb for the win. As if that wasn’t enough, after the bell, Vader went to the top and delivered a Moonsault on his fallen opponent. GORILLA sends us to pre-recorded comments from the Ultimate Warrior, regarding his match coming up on May 29 with Vader. THE ULTIMATE WARRIOR talks about the recent problems with Big Van Vader, stemming from Vader’s surprise appearance at the Royal Rumble, costing Warrior his match with Yokozuna. As usual, Warrior rambles on, making very little sense. He ends by promising his Little Warriors that he will destroy Vader on May 29 in Toronto! We see an ad for the upcoming issue of WWF MAGAZINE. BIG VAN VADER is on the cover, and inside, a feature on the career of HULK HOGAN, including his forays into Hollywood. GORILLA talks about another match that will take place on May 29, between two former WWF Champions, Hulk Hogan and Yokozuna. He says that this will be the first time that Hogan’s been in the ring with Yokozuna, since Yoko’s controversial WWF Title win at the 1993 King of the Ring. . . . . . . COMMERCIAL BREAK . . . . . . HOWARD FINKEL introduces the competitors for the feature match. BARRY WINDHAM (w/ Kendall Windham) v. SAMU (w/ Afa) – The two wrestlers put on a good match. Windham is far more comfortable in singles matches than Samu, who’s primarily a tag team wrestler, but it doesn’t seem to affect Samu, as he’s his usual vicious self. After a tough match, Windham hits a Running Bulldog on Samu, but Samu’s partner FATU hits the ring and attacks Barry! This causes Kendall Windham to jump into the ring, and the two teams brawl. Referee Tim White calls for the bell, calling the match a Double DQ, but neither competitor seems to care. The two teams brawl out to the floor, and eventually make their way back to the locker room. After the match, GORILLA and LEX send us to SHAWN MICHAELS on the set of THE HEARTBREAK HOTEL. MICHAELS introduces his guest this week, making his return to the WWF . . . THE BIG BOSSMAN!BOSSMAN talks about how happy he is to be back in the World Wrestling Federation, but Michaels keeps interrupting him. MICHAELS says that, as he recalls, the last time we saw the Bossman in the WWF was a match with the Heartbreak Kid, and after Bossman’s humiliating loss in that match, he hightailed it right out of the World Wrestling Federation. BOSSMAN isn’t pleased with Michaels comments, and says that there’s a better chance of him being struck by lighning, inside this building, than there is of Michaels running him out of the WWF. The two men bicker some more, and it ends with Bossman challenging Michaels to a match, right here next week on Superstars! He says that the biggest event of the year in New Orleans is Mardi Gras, and that just goes to show you that the city is full of degenerates and drunks! MONSOON tells BOBBY to put a cork in it, and then hypes this week’s episode of RAW, including William Shatner as the guest this week on Piper’s Pit. The feature bout will see Steve Austin defend the Intercontinental Title against Barry Windham. BOBBY puts “Stunning” Steve over as the greatest Intercontinental Champion of all-time. HOWARD FINKEL introduces the competitors for the first match. INTERCONTINENTAL TITLE MATCH “STUNNING” STEVE AUSTIN (w/ Madusa) v. BARRY WINDHAM – Austin may have underestimated Windham early in the match, as Barry goes on the offensive, and Steve finds himself in trouble. Austin decides to take a breather, and bails out of the ring. Back inside, Windham continues to go after Austin, and works the Champ over, targeting his shoulder. Austin finally resorts to his old tricks, and uses a thumb to the eye to stop Windham in his tracks. Austin takes over, and after putting Windham on the mat with a suplex, Austin goes after Barry’s knee, stomping it repeatedly. Austin nails Windham with another suplex that puts Barry on the mat near the corner. Austin rolls out of the ring, and then takes Barry’s leg . . . he’s going to wrap it around the ringpost! Barry has other ideas, though, and kicks Austin off with his good leg, sending the Champion backwards into the guardrail. Windham gets back to his feet, climbs out of the ring, and goes after the Champion on the floor. The two men brawl around ringside as we go to a commercial break. . . . . . . COMMERCIAL BREAK . . . . . . Austin v. Windham, continues...Back from the break, the two men have made their way back into the ring, with Windham still in control. He whips Austin into the ropes, and catches him with a diving elbow, for a close nearfall. With Austin down on the mat, Windham runs the ropes, and goes for a jumping kneedrop, but Austin rolls out of the way, and Barry crashes, knee-first, into the mat. Windham, in obvious pain, clutches at his knee, and Austin immediately moves in for the kill. Austin goes to work, softening up the knee, then slaps on the Hollywood and Vine! Windham fights it, but it’s no use, he can’t break the hold, and finally he submits. MADUSA climbs into the ring to celebrate with Austin while Barry Windham limps from the ring. GORILLA says that, no matter what the fans think of Steve Austin and his attitude, there’s no denying that, inside the ring, Austin is as dangerous as they come. We see an ad for the upcoming issue of WWF MAGAZINE. BIG VAN VADER is on the cover, and inside, a feature on the career of HULK HOGAN, including his forays into Hollywood. THURSDAY, MAY 19, 1994 ST. JOHN ARENA IN COLUMBUS, OHIOHOWARD FINKEL is in the ring and welcomes the fans to the show, then introduces the competitors for the first match. BRUTUS BEEFCAKE v. PAT TANAKABeefcake wears Tanaka down, and gets the win with a Sleeperhold. GREG VALENTINE v. DUKE DROESEDroese and Valentine put on a solid match, with both men getting plenty of offence. Droese takes control of the match around the 7 minute mark, and looks to be on his way to victory, but Valentine has other ideas. He clips the knee of Droese, then spends the next couple of minutes working that knee over. Valentine locks on the Figure Four Leglock for the submission victory. MR. PERFECT v. LUDVIG BORGAPerfect tries to keep this a wrestling match, but Borga has other ideas. He pummels Perfect with a series of rights and lefts, and then tosses him outside the ring. Borga continues to brawl with Perfect on the floor, even slamming his head into the guardrail. Back in the ring, Perfect battles back, and eventually gets the upper hand. Perfect catches Borga with the Perfect-Plex, and that’s all she wrote for Ludvig Borga, as Mr. Perfect gets the pinfall. THE HEADSHRINKERS v. BARRY & KENDALL WINDHAMThese two teams have been having some great matches on TV, and this match is no different. Both teams are looking to secure their spot as top contenders to the World Tag Titles. The Headshrinkers enjoy an early advantage, and Samu almost puts Kendall away with a diving Splash from the second rope, but Kendall is able to kick out at the last second. Eventually Kendall is able to make the hot tag to Barry, and he comes in and cleans house on both Headshrinkers. They come back in, and double-team him, once again giving the ‘Shrinkers the upper hand. Barry battles back, and once again sends both Samu and Fatu out of the ring. Samu, the legal man, gets back up on the ring apron, and Windham suplexes him back into the ring. Barry catches Samu with a running clothesline each time the Samoan tries to get back to his feet. Barry goes for the running Bulldog, but as he hits the ropes, Fatu hits him in the back of the head. This gives the Headshrinkers the upper hand, once again. Barry is able to tag Kendall in, and he fares better, getting the upper hand on Fatu. Kendall whips Fatu into the ropes, then runs the opposite ropes, and catches Fatu with a diving clothesline. Kendall goes for the pin, but Afa tosses the shrunken head that he carries around, to Samu, who jumps off the top rope, bashing Kendall in the back of the skull with the shrunken head. Referee Tim White calls for the bell, disqualifying the Headshrinkers and awarding the match to the Windhams. HOWARD FINKEL introduces the competitors for the IC Title match. WWF INTERCONTINENTAL TITLE MATCH STUNNING STEVE AUSTIN (Champ) (w/ Madusa) v. TATANKAThese two have met before, with Tatanka taking Austin to the limit a while back on TV. Austin is looking to prove his superiority and put Tatanka away early in this one. The early part of the match is frustrating for Austin, as Tatanka seems to have a counter for everything Austin does. Finally, a thumb to the eye gives the IC Champ the upper hand. Austin spends the next few minutes wearing Tatanka down, focusing on the knee of the Native American. Tatanka tries to fight back, but every time he gets some offence going, Austin resorts to a dirty trick, like a thumb to the eye or a low blow, to keep the upper hand. Tatanka is finally able to get something going when Austin charges at him in the corner, and Tatanka gets his boot up, catching the Champ in the gut. Tatanka goes on the Warpath, and catches Austin with two Tomahawk Chops off the ropes, but when he runs the ropes for a third time, Madusa trips him up. Austin immediately moves in, and goes right back to the knee. At one point, he whips Tatanka into the corner, then distracts the referee while Madusa gets up on the apron and chokes Tatanka with the tag rope! This brings MR. PERFECT out the ring, and he argues with Madusa, keeping her from interfering any more in the match. Inside the ring, Austin gets distracted by Madusa and Perfect arguing on the floor, and this allows Tatanka to go on the offensive again. Tatanka has the match well in hand, but when he gets Austin up on his shoulders for the End of the Trail, Austin breaks out of Tatanka’s grip, and rolls Tatanka over into a pinning predicament. Austin grabs Tatanka’s trunks for leverage, and the Native American can’t kick out. Austin gets the 1,2,3 and retains the IC Title. After a brief intermission, HOWARD FINKEL is in the ring, and introduces the competitors for the main event. STEEL CAGE MATCH FOR THE WWF TITLE LEX LUGER (Champ) v. YOKOZUNALuger puts the belt on the line against the man he won it from at WrestleMania 10. Yoko dominates the early going, using the Cage to open up a cut on Luger’s forehead. Luger battles back, and sends Yoko’s head into the Cage several times, but Yoko hits the Champ with a chop to the throat that stops Luger dead in his tracks. Yoko sends the Champ’s head into the Cage again, then slams Luger to the mat, and delivers a huge legdrop. Yoko goes for the door, but Luger is able to crawl over and stop him from escaping. Yokozuna continues to assault Luger, and looks like he might regain the title. He slams Luger to the mat near the corner . . . and goes for the Bonzai Drop! Luger saved his title when he was able to roll out of the way, and Yoko crashed to the mat! As Yokozuna slowly gets back to his feet, Luger scoops him up and once again, SLAMS YOKOZUNA! Instead of trying to leave the Cage, Luger waits for Yoko to get to his feet. When he does, Luger bounces off the ropes . . . FOREARM SMASH! Yoko falls backwards, landing flat on his back on the mat. Instead of going for the door, Luger climbs up and over the top of the Cage. Yoko is out, he’s still flat on his back when Luger climbs down the other side of the Cage and lands on the floor. Luger celebrates with some ringside fans after his win.

He then says that Michaels got robbed last week on Superstars, against the Big Bossman, thanks to the chicanery of Mr. Perfect. MICHAELS says that Perfect is insanely jealous of the Heartbreak Kid. Ever since Michaels kicked Marty Jannetty to the curb and went out on his own, Perfect has done everything he can to derail the career of the Heartbreak Kid, and so far, he’s failed miserably! HBK says that Perfect can’t stand the fact that Michaels is better than him in every way! He’s a better wrestler, a better all around athlete, and a helluva lot better looking! MADUSA agrees, saying that comparing Mr. Perfect to Shawn Michaels is like comparing a McDonald’s hamburger to filet mignon. STEVE AUSTIN then talks about Lex Luger, saying that the only reason that Luger is Champion, is because he’s refused to give Steve Austin a title match. He says that after he and Michaels beat, and humiliate, Luger and Perfect on May 29, the Championship Committee will have no choice but to force Lex to put the belt on the line against Austin. AUSTIN then talks a little about Dean Malenko, and the video we saw, saying that he’s impressed, and suggests that they may have their “financial backer” take a look at Malenko and make him an offer. GORILLA asks about the financial backer, but Austin says the man’s identity is none of Monsoon’s business. . . . . . . COMMERCIAL BREAK . . . . . . HOWARD FINKEL introduces the competitors for the next match. HANDICAP MATCH: BIG VAN VADER v. RENO RIGGINS & BARRY HOROWITZ – Riggins and Horowitz try ganging up on Vader, and that gives them an early advantage. It’s short-lived though, as Vader drops both men with headbutts, and throws Riggins out of the ring. Vader then destroys Horowitz. As Riggins slowly climbs back into the ring, Vader drops him with a clothesline. Vader nails Horowitz with a Powerbomb, then slams Riggins on top of him and pins both men together, by placing one hand on Riggins’ chest. Afterwards, Vader tosses both men from the ring, and calls for the Ultimate Warrior to come down and face him. GORILLA says that Vader will get the Warrior on May 29, and suggests that things might not turn out the way Vader thinks they will. WARRIOR is in a gym, and after several reps at the benchpress, he stands up and gives us yet another insane promo, regarding the match with Vader on May 29 in Toronto.

We see an ad for the upcoming issue of WWF MAGAZINE. BIG VAN VADER is on the cover, and inside, a feature on the career of HULK HOGAN, including his forays into Hollywood. MONSOON says that both Hogan and Vader have big matches coming up on May 29 in Toronto at In Your House: Canadian Collision. Hogan meets Yokozuna, the man who defeated him for the WWF Title at the 1993 King of the Ring, and Vader meets another former WWF Champion in the Ultimate Warrior! HEENAN says that Hogan is going to get squashed by Yoko, just like he did at the King of the Ring last year. HOWARD FINKEL introduces the competitors for the feature match. YOKOZUNA v. BRUTUS BEEFCAKE – Yoko squares off against Hulk Hogan’s buddy, Brutus “the Barber” Beefcake less than a week before meeting Hogan at In Your House in Toronto. Beefcake gets in some offence, but can’t get Yoko off his feet. Finally, Brutus puts Yoko on the mat after jumping off the second rope with an elbowsmash. Brutus goes for the cover, but Yoko throws him off with enough force to send Brutus through the ropes and out of the ring. Beefcake is slow getting back in the ring, and when he does, Yoko goes on the offensive. The former Champion slams Brutus to the mat, and then delivers a huge legdrop. From there, Yoko whips Brutus into the corner, and follows him in with a crushing avalanche. Yoko slams Brutus in the corner, and delivers the BONZAI DROP! Yoko gets the pinfall. SEAN MOONEY is standing by with WWF World Tag Team Champions DEMOLITION. AXE says that Smash and Crush beat The Quebecers before, at WrestleMania, and tonight, they’ll do it again. MOONEY says they’re in Canada, the Quebecers home country, and only a few hours from their hometown of Montreal. He asks if that makes any difference to Demolition? SMASH says that it will make their victory that much sweeter! CRUSH tells the Quebecers that they’re going down! HOWARD FINKEL introduces the competitors for the next match. WWF WORLD TAG TEAM TITLE MATCH: DEMOLITION (Champs) (w/ Axe) v. THE QUEBECERSA wild match right from the start, the Quebecers use plenty of double-teaming to get an early advantage, but Demolition keeps fighting back. Late in the match, all four men are in the ring, and Jacques and Pierre find themselves on the receiving end of a beating. Jacques gets knocked to the ring apron, and grabs the cattleprod that he carries around. When Crush comes over to pull Jacques back into the ring, Jacques zaps him with the cattleprod! Crush is stunned and tumbles through the ropes to the floor. Inside the ring, Jacques and Pierre double-team Smash. After working him over, Jacques slaps on a Boston Crab, and Pierre comes off the top rope with a legdrop to the back of Smash’s head. Pierre then climbs out of the ring, and Jacques covers Smash for the pinfall at 11:30. The Quebecers have regained the WWF Tag Team Titles!! Before the next match, we see footage of Hulk Hogan pinning Yokozuna at WrestleMania 9 to win the WWF Title, after Yoko had just defeated Bret Hart. We jump ahead to the 1993 King of the Ring event, where a photographer shot a fireball into Hogan’s face, allowing Yokozuna to pin him.
HULK HOGAN is standing in his dressing room, and says that the last time he met Yoko in the ring, was King of the Ring, where Yoko cheated him out of the WWF Title. There are no titles on the line tonight, but for the Hulkster, tonight is about payback and proving that he is the better man.
Whatcha gonna do, Yokozuna, when Hulkamania runs wild on YOU!!!HOWARD FINKEL introduces the competitors for the next match. YOKOZUNA v. HULK HOGANHogan takes the fight right to Yoko to start, but he can’t get the big man off his feet. Yoko eventually turns the tables, hitting Hogan with a jab to the throat that puts the Hulkster flat on the mat. Yoko spends the next few minutes softening Hogan up. Yoko then whips Hogan into the corner, and delivers a running splash. Things look bad for Hogan, he stumbles out of the corner, then falls flat on his face. Yoko drags him into the corner, and sets up for the Bonzai Drop! Yokozuna comes off the second rope . . . BUT HOGAN ROLLS OUT OF THE WAY!! Yoko crashes to the mat, as Hogan slowly gets back to his feet, and HULKS UP!!! Yoko gets to his feet and throws several right hands at Hogan, but they have no effect! WARRIOR starts talking about what he’s going to do to Vader tonight. WARRIOR’s got his back to the In Your House set, where the wrestlers come out. He doesn’t see BIG VAN VADER make his way down the aisle! VADER clobbers the Warrior from behind!! Vader is vicious in his assault on the Warrior, and he drags the Warrior down the aisle to the ring. Vader slams Warrior’s head into the ringpost, not once, but twice! Soon the Warrior’s face is is a crimson mask. Vader isn’t done, though. He pulls up one of the protective mats, and gets Warrior in place for a Powerbomb! Vader lifts Warrior up . . . AND POWERBOMBS HIM ON THE CEMENT FLOOR!!!The Warrior isn’t moving, and Vader taunts several ringside fans before leaving the ringside area. Medical personnel come out, and after several minutes, they load the Warrior onto a stretcher and carry him from the ringside area. HEENAN and MONSOON talk about what we just saw, and BOBBY says that it looks like Vader wins their match by forfeit. We go to a pre-taped interview with John Hawk and Bob Orton, Jr.
HAWK brags that he’s never lost a Texas Bullrope match, and says that tonight, Roddy Piper will experience pain worse than anything he’s ever experienced before! He says that the beating he gave Roddy with the cowbell a few weeks back on RAW, is NOTHING compared to the beating he’s going to give him tonight!
ORTON says that Hot Rod’s career ends tonight.GORILLA MONSOON says that the Ultimate Warrior has been taken to a nearby hospital, so the Vader – Warrior match is not going to happen. HOWARD FINKEL introduces the competitors for the next match. TEXAS BULLROPE MATCH JOHN HAWK (w/ Bob Orton Jr) v. “ROWDY” RODDY PIPERPiper is led to the ring by a group of bagpipe players, while Orton and Hawk wait impatiently in the ring. As soon as the two men are connected by the rope, and the bell rings, Piper tears into Hawk! Roddy whips Hawk into the ropes, and then clobbers him with the cowbell. With Hawk on the mat, Piper’s vicious side comes out, and Hot Rod wraps the rope around Hawk’s neck, and chokes him! Piper is like a man possessed, and he doesn’t give Hawk a chance to get anything going. When Hawk is finally able to turn the tables, it’s short-lived, as Piper jabs a thumb in Big John’s eye, stopping Hawk in his tracks. Piper seems to be on his way to victory, and after whipping Hawk into the ropes, he locks John in the Sleeperhold! At that point, Bob Orton Jr. jumps up onto the ring apron. Piper lets go of the Sleeperhold, and goes over to Orton, grabbing him by the collar. Hawk shakes off the cobwebs, and NAILS Piper in the back of the head with the cowbell! From there, Hawk whips Roddy into the ropes, and delivers the Lariat! Piper is on the mat, and Hawk covers him for the 1,2,3 at 12:45!! Thanks to Bob Orton’s distraction, John Hawk has won the Texas Bullrope Match! Hawk and Orton celebrate in the ring, but behind them, Roddy Piper has made his way back to his feet, and he grabs the cowbell that has been removed from each man’s wrist. Piper comes up behind the two men, and CRACKS both of them over the head with the cowbell! The televised portion of the card ends with Piper standing tall in the ring, and John Hawk and Bob Orton Jr. laying flat on the mat! GORILLA and BOBBY remind the fans to watch Monday Night RAW tomorrow night, for all the fallout from tonight's event. WILLIAM SHATNER comes back out, and wraps things up, he thanks the fans for watching, and says he hopes to see all the WWF fans again soon. This brings us to the end of the televised portion of the card.HOWARD FINKEL introduces the competitors for the dark match. LEX LUGER & MR. PERFECT v. SHAWN MICHAELS & “STUNNING” STEVE AUSTIN (w/ Madusa)The two teams put on an exciting, fast-paced match for the fans in attendance at the SkyDome. In the early going, Luger and Perfect take control of the match, but Austin and Michaels eventually fight back. Austin nails Perfect with a low blow, allowing him to take control of the match, and Austin and Michaels keep Perfect isolated in their half of the ring for the next few minutes. Perfect tries desperately to make a tag, but every time he fights one of the heels off, the other jumps in and keeps him from getting to his corner. Finally Perfect gets a break, when he ducks a clothesline attempt from Shawn Michaels, then nails HBK with a dropkick. Perfect makes a mad dash for his corner, and tags in the WWF Champion. Luger works HBK over, until Steve Austin comes in and nails Luger with an elbow to the back of the head, that puts the Champ on the mat. Michaels and Austin double-team Luger. Luger is able to tag out, and Perfect comes back in, and brawls with Michaels. Steve Austin again enters the ring illegally, which brings Luger back in as well, and we’ve got all four men brawling in the ring. While the referee tries to get Luger and Austin out of the ring, Shawn Michaels appears to pull an object out of one of his boots. It appears to be a taped up roll of quarters. But when Michaels goes to hit Perfect with the foreign object, Perfect nails him with a big right hand, causing Michaels to drop the weapon. Perfect grabs it, and while the referee is still busy with Luger and Austin, Perfect nails HBK square between the eyes with the foreign object! HBK hits the mat, and he appears to be out. Referee Dave Hebner turns around just in time to see Mr. Perfect hit Michaels with the Perfect-Plex! Austin can’t get back into the ring in time to break it up, and Mr. Perfect gets the pinfall on Shawn Michaels at 17:29.

This brings BIG VAN VADER out to ringside . . . along with BOB ORTON, JR.What business does Orton have out here? ORTON takes the mic from Tully. After talking things over with Madusa outside the ring, Austin climbs back up on the ring apron. Holly goes to grab him for a suplex, but Austin nails him with a wicked elbow to the jaw that stops Holly dead in his tracks. Austin climbs into the ring, and immediately goes to work on Holly. Holly gets a little bit more offence in later in the match, but for the most part, it’s all Steve Austin. GORILLA asks Steve about the upcoming World Title match with Lex Luger on August 7 at SummerSlam. AUSTIN smiles, and says that this is what he’s been waiting for. He says that on August 7, Luger’s luck runs out and he will be the new World Wrestling Federation Champion! MONSOON then addresses Madusa, asking her why she came to the WWF and aligned herself with Austin and Michaels. MADUSA says, not that it’s any of Gorilla’s business, but she’s being paid very well for her services. HEENAN wishes Austin luck at SummerSlam, to which Austin replies that he doesn’t need luck, he’s a far superior athlete. HEENAN agrees, and says Luger’s an ungrateful punk. MONSOON asks Bobby if he’s still sore about Luger kicking him to the curb last year, but BOBBY just tells him to shut up. . . . . . . COMMERCIAL BREAK . . . . . . HEENAN and MONSOON talk about the non-televised match that took place last night at In Your House. Lex Luger teamed up with Mr. Perfect to face the duo of Shawn Michaels and Steve Austin.
Perfect gets the pinfall on Shawn Michaels at 17:29.HEENAN says that Perfect cheated, although that shouldn’t come as a surprise to anyone. MONSOON says that Bobby conveniently forgot that it was MICHAELS who brought that object into the ring, not Mr. Perfect. As far as he’s concerned, HBK got exactly what he deserved. GORILLA and BOBBY are then joined by WWF Champion LEX LUGER and MR. PERFECT. MONSOON congratulates them on their victory last night, and then talks about SummerSlam.
