Steve goes to the top rope and hits a flying bodypress on Duncum. Referee John Keaton turns and counts the fall. The Simpsons upset the champions!
Marc Lowrance is ringside.
Lowrance, “The Simpson brothers shocked the wrestling world. They upset the champions, and we will have more formation regarding these teams later in the program. Tonight, we have a fantastic title match. Moadib will defend the Texas Title against the Patriot. Let’s get things started with Doyle King.”

Non Title Match
Chaz (Global Jr. Heavyweight Champion) vs. Steven Dane
The popular champion is loved by the young ladies. He starts fast. Both men wrestle by the rules, and the fans love the action. Dane has his chances, but Chaz uses the sunset flip for the win.
Winner- Chaz
Match #2
Johnny Mantell vs. “Maniac” Mike Davis
He popular Cowboy from Wise, TX takes on the “Maniac”. Davis jumps Mantell and the Cowboy is in early trouble. Davis smashes Mantell’s head into the turnbuckle. Johnny begins to rally. He fights fire with fire. A brawl ensues. The end comes with Mantell hitting a bulldog for the win.
Winner- Johnny Mantell
Marc Lowrance is seated in the studio.
Lowrance, “Fans, summer is here. That means picnics, swimming, boating, and other activities. In also means July 4, Independence Day. In the GWF that means ‘Independence Day Star Wars’. On July 2 we will be at the Sam Houston Coliseum in Houston, TX. The GWF always presents the best in wrestling action, and this will be no different. Based on last week’s occurrences we have signed a match for Houston. Buddy Roberts’ tag team champions, Bobby Duncum Jr. And Big John Hawk will defend the Global Tag Team Titles against the Simpson Brothers. Let’s hear from the challengers.”
We see the Simpson Brothers in an interview area.
Shaun, “Roberts, you’ve got a big mouth, but you have a great tag team, but not the best. We proved that last week.”
Steve, “Duncum, Hawk, you know we can beat you, we proved it. In Houston, we will take those titles, and we’ll be the champions!”
Lowrance, “This will be a great match. Stay tuned to GWF action for more information.”
Match #3
Black Bart and the Super Destroyer w/General Skandor Akbar vs. Rex King and Tony Falk
Akbar’s men were shocked to see 2Cold Scorpio show up as the Iceman’s partner. They are in for some tough matches. We start with Bart and King. Rex uses his quickness to confound the big cowboy. Bart is frustrated, and Roberts tries to calm him down. Bart returns to the ring and starts dishing out punishment. He tags in the Super Destroyer. The masked man continues the assault. Falk tags in, and is overwhelmed. SD hits the big boot to finish him off.
Winners- Black Bart and The Super Destroyer
Match #4
Billy Black w/Buddy Roberts vs. Steve Cox
The “Bad Boy” takes on the former football star. Cox is athletic, and he starts fast. Black counters with roughhouse tactics. The match is very even. Cox has his chances, and “Tex” looks concerned, but Black takes over and wins with the moonsault.
Winner- Billy Black
Doyle King is with General Skandor Akbar and Moadib.
King, “With me is the Texas Champion and his manager. General Akbar, your man, and the Patriot, met in Corpus Christi, but nothing was settled. They meet again tonight.”
Akbar, “Lucky! That’s what that circus clown was! H says he represents America, and he does. That makes him a loser! It’s time for the ‘Nubian Terror’ to destroy an American hero…tonight!”
King, “Let’s hear from the Patriot.”
We see the Patriot in an interview area.
Patriot, “Moadib, Akbar, I do fight for America, and I am proud to do it! Texas is one of the proudest states in the Union, and that Texas Title means a lot! Moadib, you’ve had that belt long enough!”
King, “The Texas Title match is next!”

Texas Championship
Moadib (Champion) w/General Skandor Akbar vs. The Patriot
There is a “Big Fight” feel in the Sportatorium tonight. The crowd is on their feet as referee James Beard calls for the bell. The match starts quickly. Moadib is vicious. He attacks the Patriot, and the masked man is in early trouble. The Patriot fires back with rights and lefts. Now Moadib is in retreat. He rolls out of the ring and confers with Akbar. The crowd goes wild. Moadib returns to the ring and the match gets even more intense. This turns into a brawl. Both men end up brawling on the arena floor. Beard is counting. The Patriot gets back into the ring, but Moadib can’t beat the doubt! The Patriot wins the match, but not the title. These two must meet again.
Winner- The Patriot (Count Out)

Lowrance, “Fans, what a match. Nothing has been settled between those two. Next week will bring us another intense match, 2Cold Scorpio will take on Black Bart. You know that Iceman King Parsons, the Super Destroyer, and General Skandor Akbar will be in the Sportatorium as well. It will be a combustible situation.
