PERSONALITY PROFILE
Les stands in the interview area.
LES: Tonight, Personality Profile looks at a second generation wrestler, one of the young lions in our great sport, Kendall Windham! Kendall was born on December 15, 1967. he is, of course, the son of Blackjack Mulligan and the brother of Barry Windham. Kendall hails from Sweetwater, Texas. He stands 6’5 and weighs in at 240 pounds. Kendall had an extensive amateur background, playing football, basketball, and wrestling in high school. He is also a two time Golden Gloves boxing champion in Texas. After being trained by his famous dad and brother, Kendall made his debut on June 10, 1984 as he defeated Barry Horowitz in Tampa, FL. The highlight of Kendall’s career thus far was winning the UWA World Tag Team Titles as the Texas Broncos with his partner Dustin Rhodes. Although the Texas Broncos are a thing of the past and Kendall is currently at odds with his former partner, Kendall is still regarded as one of the UWA’s rising stars and a man who will lead us into the next decade and, perhaps, the 21st century! Kendall’s career is now managed by his father and they join me at this time… Kendall, Jack, a huge opportunity is coming up on May 26th at Texas Stadium. You are involved in Battle Bowl!
MULLIGAN: First of all, I need to correct you on something! The Texas Broncos was NOT the highlight of KW’s career! The highlight was when he dumped that yellow belly, nappy head Dustin and became his own man! Dustin has been a thorn in this boy’s sided long enough! A little bit later tonight, I’m gonna take care of Rhodes once and for all! The #1 highlight will be at Texas Stadium when he wins the Battle Bowl and becomes American Champion! And gets the World Title shot, which he will win! And We’ll be on top of the world!
LES: Kendall, your thoughts?
KENDALL: Well, I know things didn’t work out with the Texas Broncos, but I was a World Tag Team Champion and I’m real proud of that! I also have a big opportunity at Battle Bowl! Dad is right! This is huge and I’m gonna do whatever it takes to win this thing!
LES: In our next match, you will wrestle a different sort of opponent than you are used to: The high flying Cheetah Kid!
KENDALL: He wrestles a lot like the Mexican wrestlers. I spent a lot of time down in Eagle pass, Dad’s hometown. We were right on the border down there and we got Mexican TV channels. I watched some of their wrestling and I’ve studied that high flying style like Cheetah Kid wrestles. Don’t worry, Les, I’ll be ready for him!
LES: Well, I’ll let you get to it, Kendall! For Personality Profile, I’m Les Thatcher!
KENDALL WINDHAM (W/BLACKJACK MULLIGAN) VS. CHEETAH KID: The amasked man dazzle the fans with his aerial offense , but Kendall sidesteps a missile dropkick and the Kid lands headfirst on the mat. Kendall hits a DDT and scores an impressive win. Les admits Kendall could be a dark horse at Battle Bowl.

BJM dominates the action, but Dustin manages to hit a bulldog and get a 1-2-3! The Destruction Crew runs in and attacks Dustin, but they are too late! Dustin gets an impressive win here on TNT tonight! Kendall runs in after the match and checks on his father. Enos and Bloom glare at Kendall while Mulligan appears to be chewing him out! Looks like Kendall’s late arrival is being blamed for Blackjack’s loss!

Slaughter, you once were great, but pandering to the wrestling fans and waving your flag has made you soft! Scott Hall, if you had listened to me, you would have been one of the all timer greats! But you wanted to have these floozies at ringside swooning over you! These two are real men! They are not imperialist American swine! They will leave Scott Hall and Sad Sack facedown in a pool of blood! And all of the “USA” chants in the world can’t save them!

Humperdink’s men use questionable tactics to gain an advantage on Slaughter and isolate him on their side of the ring for a while. It looks like America’s Hero is done for, but the “USA” chant seems to inspire him to make a diving tag to Hall! Scott comes in fist and fire! They have Garvin up for the wrecking ball and Blackjack is holding onto Adams’ ankle to prevent him from helping his partner, but a vengeful Dustin Rhodes sneaks down to ringside and bashes Wayne Bloom in the back with a steel chair! Referee Carl Fergie is distracted by the Mulligan/Adams fracas and doesn’t see any of Dustin’s actions! Wayne falls to the mat as Garvin victory rolls Mike Enos for the 1-2-3!
Blackjack is furious, but there’s really nothing he can do about it!
