AWA All-Star Wrestling is taped on Tuesday, May 16, live from the Salt Palace in Salt Lake CIty, Utah. The show opens with the AWA banner superimposed over a shot of a red-white-blue wrestling ring. We join the announcing team of Tony Schiavone & Mike Tenay at the desk for anther exciting hour of AWA Championship Wrestling. The announcers remind the fans to the upcoming Wrestle Rock II# live on PPV from Minneapolis, MN @ Hubert H Humphrey on 7/2/2023. Matches are being signed as they spark & they will announce them next week.
Joining the announcer's is manager James J. Dillon who is accompanied by the returning Tully Blanchard & 'Dirty' Dick Slater. JJ says he is going to rebuild the Dynasty. Dillon says he has a monetary offer to make to Woman for the contract of Arne Anderson, the current AWA World's Heavyweight Champion. He adds that is between him & her.
