JR welcomes the fans to Smoky Mountain Wrestling. We are two weeks away from the biggest show in Smoky Mountain history. Last week ended in some serious trouble between Team Smoky Mountain. There is also some serious issues regarding who is the number one contender to the US junior heavyweight title held by Brian Christopher that still has to do with the Team SMW. Today we have Dean Malenko, the man of 1000 holds, in action. The USWA world tag team titles will be defended when the Stud Stable is in action. In 6-man tag team action, “The Master” Kevin Sullivan brings his team of monsters, The Eliminators and what JR just learned is Tazmaniac, to face off against some poor souls. In the main event though, “The Nature Boy” Ric Flair will be in action and take on Jeff Jarrett. This will be a top of all top matches. We head to the ring for the action.

Dean Malenko def. Joey Maggs

Malenko comes out to see JR. He says he doesn’t talk a lot. He wants his talking done in the ring but he has something to say. If Chris Candido thinks he can beat Malenko all he has to do is get in the ring. Same with Guerrero. Malenko is the man who will take the title from Brian Christopher. There is no one who can match Malenko hold for hold. It doesn’t matter who it is. He is coming for that belt and he will take it. As a matter of fact, he wants either one or both of them to get in the ring next week. They can wrestle and decide that way who gets the next US Junior heavyweight title shot.
**Begin VTR**
Lance Storm & Jericho are in a gym. Jericho is working out as Storm says that the Eliminators and their new friend don’t know what they did here. They set off a fire in the Thrill Seekers that will see their blood boil. But they are smart enough to understand numbers so Storm wants Sullivan to understand that there will be two more around if his Eliminators can’t fight in a tag team match.

We are back and JR says that he has heard from the Commissioner Bob Armstrong that next week we -will- see a triple threat rules where the first man who gets the win, gets the title shot at the US Junior heavyweight title. That match will be between Dean Malenko, Eddie Guerrero, and Chris Candido. Right now though it is time for the USWA world tag team championship to be defended when Dick Slater & Robert Fuller, the Stud Stable, defend the titles against The Tennessee Vols.

USWA World Tag Team Championship: The Stud Stable (Slater & Fuller) *champions* def. The Tennessee Vols

Fuller and Slater are with JR. They say they have the Rock N’ Roll Express on May 7th for the world tag team titles. That is ok. They will beat the brains out of the two pretty boys and move on to whatever other team is there for them. These tag belts have been in the hands of the Stud Stable for longer than Smoky Mountain has been a promotion. So they have a message for Ricky and for Robert and for anyone else that thinks they are going to take the USWA world tag team titles from them. The message is this…Come and do your best. All of you. But understand the title belts will stay where they always have been, with the Stud Stable.

We are back and it is time for the 6-man tag team match. Mike Samples, Rick Michaels, and JC Ice are in the ring for the action waiting on Kevin Sullivan and his men. Sullivan leads them to the ring and they do not wait for the bell before the brawl begins.

The Eliminators/Tazmaniac w. “The Master” Kevin Sullivan def. Mike Samples, Rick Michaels, JC Ice

Sullivan leads his men to JR. He says he saw what Storm said and he wants Storm to understand this isn’t a personal thing. This isn’t even business. This is destiny. This is what happens when pure evil is left to grow. Sullivan isn’t a bad guy here. He asked and begged the Thrill Seekers to stop their questions, stop asking to be eliminated but they don’t. Now it looks like they added two others to the elimination list. That is very bad for them because Sullivan has the meanest, the nastiest, the toughest men in professional wrestling. He brought them together for just those reasons. If the Thrill Seekers still want to get in the ring with “The Master” and his disciples, well…that is on them. He will be more than happy to oblige with their beatings they are asking for, but it is still on them.

The last commercial is done and it is time for the main event. Jeff Jarrett comes out and tells JR he gets a chance to wrestle “The Nature Boy”, the greatest wrestler since Jarrett was a kid. This is an important match to have before the cage match at Volunteer Slam. Flair comes out with Dillon and tells Jarrett he is right. It -is- an important match to have. It is actually -the- important match, the most important match Jeff Jarrett will ever have because he is in the ring with “The Nature Boy”. Jarrett says that all may be true but that also means Flair is in the ring with J-E-Double F, J-A-Double R-E-Double T. He pushes Flair and heads to the ring for the fight.

MAIN EVENT: “The Nature Boy” Ric Flair w. JJ Dillon Vs Jeff Jarrett ends in a no contest after the Horsemen & Lawler/Dirty White Boy/Eddie Gilbert brawl outside and inside the ring.
/
/
When it all clears up, Jarrett is with JR and he is livid. He demands to know why Lawler, DWB, and Gilbert came out there. They caused part of the loss here. Lawler says he wasn’t going to let them hurt Jarrett before the match on the 7th. Jarrett calms down and thanks them before asking why Gilbert is there and where the hell is Brian Christopher. None of them know. JJ comes out but stays at arms length saying they should keep asking themselves where he is because like JJ said, one of them is a traitor to the others. Gilbert and DWB chase JJ out of the announce area while Lawler says they will talk to Christopher when they find him. We fade out to the camera in the back showing Christopher is beaten and out cold.
