AWA All-Star Wrestling is taped on Wednesday, April 26 live from Jackson, MS @ Fairgrounds Coliseum to air Saturday, April 29.
The show opens with the AWA banner superimposed over a shot of a red-white-blue wrestling ring. We join the announcing team of Tony Schiavone & Mike Tenay at the desk for anther exciting hour of AWA Championship Wrestling. Tony reminds the fans of the Wrestle Rock II# set for Minneapolis, MN @ Hubert H Humphrey Sunday July 2, 1993. They are looking at 16 matches on the card.
Joining the announcers is Tammy Sytch, president of the Gold Club. Tammy announces she has signed the AWA World's Junior Heavyweight Champion Joe Malenko to her stable with Badd Co. (Pat Tanaka & Paul Diamond). Sytch says this is just the beginning of her taking over the AWA & the championship belts.
