Lowrance, “Welcome to North Texas State University, and the ‘Super Pit’. Tonight we will determine the Texas Champion. We have eight entrants in the tournament. Here are the rules. A wrestler will advance by pitfall, submission, disqualificarion, or count out. In the case of double disqualification, double count out, or time limit draw, both men will be eliminated. The time limit for the first round is 30 minutes, the semi finals 60 minutes, the final is one fall to a finish. Let’s go to Doyle King, and get the tournament underway.”

The Patriot vs. The Super Destroyer w/General Skandor Akbar
Two masked men meet in this one. Akbar could very well be the difference. The SD is very aggressive. He punches and kicks, and the Patriot is in trouble. He fights back, and the intensity picks up. The Patriot gains the edge, and goes to work. He hits the Patriot missile and advances to the next round.
Winner- The Patriot

Billy Black w/Buddy Roberts vs. Scott Putski
Buddy Roberts leads the talented Black against the popular newcomer. Referee James Beard calls for the bell. Putski starts very fast. He is all over Black. Billy rolls out of the ring and confers with “Tex” Roberts. He returns to the ring and the match continues. It is very even until Black goes to the roughhouse tactics. Black then hits a moonsault for the win.

Iceman King Parsons vs. “Outlaw” Joel Deaton w/Buddy Roberts
Two veterans meet in a first round match. The early moments go back and forth. Both men are cautious. They know one mistake could cost them the match. Deaton works over Parsons, but the Iceman rallies. Iceman takes over and hits a butt bump for the win.

Johnny Mantell vs. Moadib w/General Skandor Akbar
The massive Moadib has been so impressive. He has looked unstoppable. Mantell is a veteran, but he might be in trouble. Johnny tries to outsmart him, and it works for a time. Finally Moadib takes over. He punishes Mantell. He then uses the legdrop for the win.

Sam Houston w/Baby Doll vs. Marc Valiant
We have a non tournament match. The veteran Sam Houston returns to Texas.. He is accompanied by the legendary Baby Doll. The muscular Valiant will be a good test. Houston starts fast. The Denton crowd takes to Houston. Valiant tries to out muscle him, Houston is too much. He hits a bulldog for the win. Baby Doll raises her man’s hand. Another top wrestler is in Texas.

Bobby Duncum Jr. and Big John Hawk (Champions) w/Buddy Roberts vs. Tribal Nation
The Native American brothers have come close to taking the titles. Maybe tonight is the night. Duncum and Nocona open the contest. Both of these men are very good wrestlers and they show it. The action goes back and forth. Both men have their chances. Hawk tags in, and the big man from Sweetwater goes to work. He works over Nocona. He is in trouble. The Denton crowd gets behind Nocona. He escapes, and tags in his brother. Brave Sky comes in and cleans house. The Champions confer with “Tex” Roberts on the floor. Hawk returns, and takes over. He uses a big clothesline for the win. The Champions escape with a hard fought win.

The first semi final features two talented wrestlers. The masked man looks very confident. Roberts puts the bad mouth on him, but the Patriot is unfazed. Referee James Beard calls for the bell, and we are underway. They exchange holds and counter holds. Both men get near falls. Roberts is out of control at ringside. He yells instructions to Black. Billy goes for a moonsault, but the Patriot moves, and Black crashes to the mat. The Patriot covers him, and Beard counts the fall! The Patriot advances! Suddenly, the Super Destroyer and Black Bart, and THE ANGEL OF DEATH! hit the ring. They jump the Patriot from behind. They take him down, and drape his leg over the ropes. All three men stomp away at the leg. Security personnel pull the two off the Patriot, but the damage has been done. Will he be ready for the Championship match? And the Angel of Death is back with the General!

Iceman King Parsons vs. Moadib w/General Skandor Akbar
Parsons gives up size, but he is game. The Iceman starts fast. He flys around the ring and “The Nubian Terror” is confused. He rolls out of the ring and confers with Akbar. Moadib returns to the ring, and begins to dish out punishment. He traps Parsons in the corner, and pounds away. The crowd gets behind Parsons, and he fights back. The intensity is off the charts. Finally, Moadib slams Parsons and hits the legdrop. He covers Iceman, and referee John Keaton counts …1…2…3! Moadib is in the final.

Six Man Tag Team Match
Kevin Von Erich and the Simpson Brothers vs. “California Stud” Rod Price, The One Man Gang, and Gary Young w/“Playboy” Gary Hart
This one will be wild. Kevin and the Simpsons are some of the most popular wrestlers in the sport, Gary Hart’s men, just the opposite. Steve Simpson starts against Rod Price. Price uses his strength to slow down Simpson. Steve fights back and takes to the air. Price is frustrated, and tags in the giant OMG. The big man from Halsted Street. Slows the pace. He uses his size, and Simpson needs a tag. He tags in his brother Shaun. The younger Simpson tries his hand. The Gang dishes out punishment. Gary Hart shouts instructions to “Moon”. He has Simpson on the run, and the South African tags in Von Erich. The crowd goes crazy. Kevin goes right after the big man. Now the Gang is in retreat. He tags in Gary Young. The veteran from Little Rock tries his hand. The action is hectic, and Kevin hits the flying bodypress. Referee John Keaton counts the fall! A popular win!

There is a buzz in the crowd. The Patriot is limping badly. The attack by Akbar’s men took its toll. The bell rings and Moadib goes to work on the injured leg. The Patriot is in trouble. Moadib stomps away at the Patriot’s leg. The “Nubian Terror” is vicious. Akbar looks very pleased. He struts around ringside. The Patriot starts to mount a comeback. He is very game, and takes the fight to Moadib. The big man is in retreat. He rolls out of the ring and confers with Akbar. Moadib returns to the ring and refocuses on the Patriot's leg. The masked man gives it his best, but Moadib is too much. He hits the legdrop and covers the masked man. Referee James Beard counts 1…2…3! “The Nubian Terror” is the Texas Champion!
