It’s been a hectic week, so I will get a quick results format of Nitro up so that I don’t fall behind, sorry guys.
Airing LIVE on TBS: The Superstation from Pittsburgh, PA on 10/7/96
Nitro kicked off with Scotty Steiner in the middle of the ring discussing the actions of Hell on Wheels in recent weeks and how his brother Rick is still on the shelf with concussion like symptoms, and Scott is pissed the hell off. He doesn’t care if it’s in the ring, in the locker room, in the parking lot, or if he has to find them after the show, Doc, Kendall Windham, and CW Anderson will pay for what they’ve done to his brother. Scott calls out his buddy Magnum T.A. and says that he wants a piece of all them tonight, or he just might do something stupid.
Magnum says that he can definitely appreciate how Scott feels, but Scott knows that Magnum cannot make a match as grossly mismatched all Hell on Wheels vs. one man. That is why here tonight, Magnum has arranged for Billy Kidman to team with Scott to take on Kendall Windham and CW Anderson, and also that at Halloween Havoc in the Steiner’s home state of Michigan, which just so happens to be the day that Rick will be medically cleared to compete, The Steiner Brothers and Billy Kidman will take on all 3 members of Hell on Wheels IN A DETROIT STREETFIGHT!

“Kid Dynamite” Koji Kanemoto who has a friend with him this week that Tony informs us is New Japan standout Yuji Nagata defeated Julio Fantastico with the Koji Cutter from the fireman’s carry position.

World Heavyweight Champion Curt Hennig along with Scott Norton, Buff Bagwell, and the First Lady of Professional Wrestling Miss Elizabeth join Mauro Ranallo. Bagwell says that last week Diamond Dallas Page only got a little taste of the payback in store for him, and that Page had better watch his back because he won’t know when, and he won’t know where, but his time is coming. You know why? Tell ‘em babe. Cause his stuff is weak, according to Liz. The Champ is a nasty mood and says that the time for fun and games is over! Sting wants to come out here and give history lessons, well Hennig and Rick Rude know their history quite well, and that Halloween Havoc has an illustrious history. As a matter of fact he and the boys were in Minnesota this past week watching the very first Halloween Havoc, and he wants Sting and Ric Flair to find the time to go back and watch that event, because if Curt Hennig and Rick Rude have their way, that history is going to repeat itself!

Harlem Heat w/Sister Sherri defeated Rip Rogers and Frankie Lancaster, the Ravishing Bodies, after Booker T. hit the Harlem Hangover flipping top rope leg drop on the Hustler.

Col. Robert E. Lee Parker along with the Unified Tag Team Champions of the World Southern Justice and Beautiful Bobby had a lot to say about Dusty Rhodes and the Nasty Boys, in particular Dusty’s comments regarding having his eye on Parker. The Dream can have his eyes wherever he darn well pleases, but if he puts his hands on the Col. his life will turn into a nightmare at the hands of the Stud Stable.

World Television Champion Diamond Dallas Page w/Kimberly defeated Beautiful Bobby w/Col. Parker in a hotly contested, back and forth encounter after reversing an attempted flap jack into his patent Diamond Cutter.

Scotty Steiner and Billy Kidman went to war with Kendall Windham and CW Anderson w/Doc. In what turned out to be a preview of the Detroit Streetfight, both teams were counted out after battling up the aisleway.

Rick Martel and his buddy Shawn Stasiak came to the ring before the scheduled main event and Martel informed everyone that he didn’t feel like wrestling in a singles match tonight, so he challenged Ricky Steamboat to find any partner he wanted and come out here and take on the best new team in wrestling, the Super Nova Scotiaians!

United States Heavyweight Champion Ricky Steamboat and THE TOTAL PACKAGE LEX LUGER made for a great team and spoiled the Super Nova Scotiaians in-ring debut as Lex made Stasiak submit to the Human Torture Rack
