AWA All-Star Wrestling is taped on Wednesday, April 5 live from the Memorial Auditorium in Spartanburg, South Carolina to air Saturday, April 8. The show opens with the AWA banner superimposed over a shot of a red-white-blue wrestling ring. We join the announcing team of Tony Schiavone & Mike Tenay at the desk for anther exciting hour of AWA Championship Wrestling.
Joining the announcer's is very happy manager Woman with Diamond Inc., lead by the new AWA World's Heavyweight Champion Arne Anderson followed by Ric Martel & the AWA World's Tag Team Champions Ted Dibiase & Mike Rotoundo. Woman says Diamond Inc. pulled off the coupe of the year last Saturday night. Her newest member, Arne Anderson, answered Hulk Hogan's open challenge & beat him 1-2-3 in the middle of the ring. Arne adds that the only way any man can beat him is to kill him. Martiel is still upset with the returning Tito Santana as the World Tag Team Champions aren't happy with recent tag teams coming in her as Demolition & now the Road Warriors.

Okerlund interview with manager Harley Race with Vander who reminds everyone that they have no friends in this business. They want Hogan, Warrior, Anderson Jake Roberts -- anyone that gets in their way will get hurt.

5. Non-Title Single Match. Dustin Rhodes won by DQ over AWA World's Heavyweight Champion Arna Anderson w/mgr. Woman when other members of the Diamond Inc. jumped him.(6:51). Coming to his aide were Tito Santan & unannounced 'The American Dream' Dusty Rhodes to clean house. The crowd pops wildly as father helps son up as the crowd explodes.
