Bob: “Welcome back to Mid-South Wrestling fans, I’m Bob Caudle and it is my pleasure to once again be joined by the heart and soul of the Mid-South, Bill Watts!
Bill: “Thank you for that Bob and as we saw at the top of the program the fallout continues from The Legacy, an event that saw a new World Heavyweight Champion, Steve Austin, and new World Tag Team Champions Stan Hansen and Dan Severn crowned. Now, Steve Austin said he respected the finalist Booker T who we saw at the top of the program, but demands he work his way into the top 10 to gain a rematch- yet says he WILL grant Ron Simmons a match.
“Now, I don’t know how I feel about a World Champion dictating the terms of his title defenses, but we will hear from Ron Simmons this week and I for one am very interested in what Ron, who lost to Booker T in the semifinals has to say this week about all this!
Bob: “That, The Barbarian, the new tag team of Matt Bourne and The Love Machine, and get this, The Japanese Buzzaw Shinya Hashimoto wrestles Finnish kickboxer Tony Halme, and we will also hear from Terry Funk! Let’s go to the ring!

PLAYS AND HERE THEY ARE BUTCH AND LUKE, the Bushwhackers as they gladhand the ringside fans, licks heads and frog march to Idol and JYD. Idol has his hands on his hips, and is very visibly annoyed at yet another interruption by Butch and Luke.
Chris: “Luke and Butch, with all due respect, this interview time was set aside for these men here.
Luke: “HOLD ON, Crispy Cruiser let us have our say! Here’s the deal Austin and JYD, yes you beat us fair and square at the Legacy. All we ask is for ONE MORE rematch, next week right here on Mid-South Wrestling, and I promise, you will NEVER be bothered by us again!
Idol: “Let me get this straight gentleman. You’re are saying if we give you a rematch, next week, here on this very television program, win lose or draw, we can move on with our tag team careers? No more of the silliness? No more face licking? No more comedy?
Butch: “OY, Austin Idol, did you not hear my mate clearly? All we ask is for a rematch, and then we are DONE, FINISHED! You will not hear or see from us again!
Idol: “If that is the case, Dog unless you have any objections, I’ll do ANYTHING to make that happen!
