GORILLA and BOBBY then hype WrestleMania X, coming up this Sunday night, live on Pay-Per-View, from the mecca, Madison Square Garden.

MONSOON takes a moment to run down the line-up...

HEENAN and MONSOON are joined by Intercontinental Champion STEVE AUSTIN.

GORILLA talks about what happened last week, where it looked like Mr. Perfect was about to unmask this mystery man, only to discover the man had another mask on underneath, then he took off to the dressing room. Afterwards, Austin came out of the audience, attacked Perfect from behind, and did a number on his knee.

BOBBY says that it’s about time somebody put Mr. Perfect out of wrestling!

AUSTIN promises that, if Perfect is STUPID enough to show up on Sunday night at WrestleMania, he will end Perfect’s career for good.

GORILLA once again asks Austin if he had anything to do with this mystery man showing up and getting involved in Mr. Perfect’s business.

AUSTIN once again flat out denies having any part in this, but says that doesn’t mean he’s not enjoying it!


We go up to the ring and Howard Finkel for the opening match.


LUDVIG BORGA v. RENO RIGGINS – Borga makes short work of Riggins, finishing him off with a brutal Gorilla Press into a Gut-Buster.

MOONEY then talks about the special guests that will be a part of WrestleMania...

New York Knicks star PATRICK EWING will be the guest ring announcer for the main event, between Luger and Yokozuna.

LITTLE RICHARD will be the guest time keeper for the main event.

And, singer VANESSA WILLIAMS will sing the National Anthem!


MOONEY then talks about the World Title match between Champion Yokozuna and challenger Lex Luger.

A highlight package is shown, showing Luger slamming Yokozuna on the USS Intrepid on July 4, 1993. From there, we see Luger knocking Yoko out cold during the World Title match at SummerSlam ’93.

MOONEY says that Luger never got his rematch, but by winning the Royal Rumble earlier this year, he became the #1 contender, and will face Yoko one more time, this Sunday night at WrestleMania 10!


GORILLA and HEENAN talk about WrestleMania, then send us to Howard Finkel for the next match.


JOHN HAWK & BOB ORTON, JR v. BOB HOLLY & DUANE GILL – Orton doesn’t do much, he spends most of the match on the apron, barking out orders, as Hawk demolishes both opponents. After a vicious Lariat on Gill, Hawk then poses, mocking Hulk Hogan, before dropping the legdrop on Gill! Hawk covers Gill for the pinfall, then mocks Hogan some more.

We see footage from the Royal Rumble, where BIG VAN VADER showed up and attacked the Ultimate Warrior during his title match.


THE ULTIMATE WARRIOR v. BARRY HOROWITZ – Warrior makes short work of Horowitz, finishing him off with the Gorilla Press Slam and a Splash, for the pinfall.


GORILLA MONSOON climbs into the ring to interview the Ultimate Warrior, when BIG VAN VADER hits the ring and tries to blindside the Warrior, but Warrior quickly fights back!

The two men go toe to toe in the ring, until a clothesline from the Warrior sends Vader through the ropes and to the outside. Warrior follows him out, but he’s met with a jab to the throat from Vader that stops him dead in his tracks!

From there, Vader slams Warrior’s head into the ringpost, but the Warrior continues to fight back. The two men continue to brawl, making their way down the aisle and out of sight.


GORILLA says that Mr. Perfect isn’t here tonight, he’s at home in Minnesota, but has sent in some pre-recorded comments for Steve Austin and the mysterious masked man.

We go to a video of Mr. Perfect. Perfect is sitting on his couch.

PERFECT promises a victory at WrestleMania against Steve Austin, to become a two-time Intercontinental Champion. He goes on to say that, after he beats Austin, he’s going to put an end to this business with the masked man.

MONSOON says that’s going to be a great match, this Sunday night at WrestleMania, as Mr. Perfect attempts to become a two-time Intercontinental Champion when he faces current Champ “Stunning” Steve Austin.

BARRY WINDHAM v. PAT TANAKA – Tanaka gets some offence in, but Windham wears him down, and eventually puts Tanaka down for the count with a Bulldog around the 7-minute mark.


GORILLA and BOBBY are joined by the #1 contender to the World Title, LEX LUGER.

MONSOON says Luger has been waiting a long time for a rematch with Yokozuna, but he’ll finally get it, this Sunday night at WrestleMania.

LUGER says that Yokozuna was lucky to leave SummerSlam last year with the WWF Title, and since then, Yoko has done everything he can to avoid getting back in the ring with Luger. But this Sunday, he gets another shot, and this time, he’s not going to let Yoko get away with a cheap count-out or DQ. This time, the WWF Title will be leaving with Lex Luger!

WWF INTERCONTINENTAL TITLE MATCH:
“STUNNING” STEVE AUSTIN v. TATANKA – Austin’s got his work cut out for him here, against the Native American Tatanka.

The match starts out slow, with a feeling out process, both men looking for an advantage. Tatanka gets the upper hand, taking Austin down to the mat, and locking on an armbar. Austin soon fights his way back to his feet, but when he shoots Tatanka into the ropes, Tatanka ducks a clothesline, then drops Austin with a clothesline of his own.

Austin knocks Tatanka through the ropes and to the floor, and the two men battle on the arena floor. Austin gets the advantage, and sets Tatanka up against the ringpost, but misses a clothesline, instead wrapping his arm around the metal post. Tatanka takes advantage of this, and goes back to work on the arm. Austin sells it as though his arm has been broken.

Back in the ring, Austin is hampered by his arm, but still manages to connect with a Thesz Press, and then bashes Tatanka with an elbow. Austin covers his opponent, but only gets 2.

Austin goes on the offensive at this point, but when he attempts a piledriver, Tatanka backdrops the Champion to the mat. Tatanka goes on the Warpath, and delivers several big chops, before going to the top rope for the Tomahawk Chop. Austin is ready, and catches Tatanka with a punch to the gut, that puts Tatanka on the mat.

Austin immediately goes to work on Tatanka’s knee. The Native American tries to fight Austin off, but it’s no use, the Champion is like a shark in a feeding frenzy, he keeps going back to the knee, and finally locks on the Hollywood and Vine.

Tatanka tries desperately to break the hold, but it’s no use, and finally he has no choice but to submit, giving Austin the victory and the momentum going into his match with Mr. Perfect on Sunday night at WrestleMania.

Back from the break, STEVE AUSTIN is still in the ring.

AUSTIN takes the house mic from Howard Finkel, and tells everyone that what happened to Tatanka before the break, is the same thing that’s going to happen to Mr. Not-So-Perfect on Sunday night at WrestleMania. He says that if the fans want to see Mr. Perfect’s final match, then they’ll want to tune in on Sunday night!


MONSOON and HEENAN recap what we’ve seen here tonight, and hype WrestleMania, this Sunday night, live on Pay-Per-View, from Madison Square Garden in New York City.

Brutus Beefcake makes his return, against a man also making his return to the WWF, The Berzerker!

In 8-man tag team action, Tatanka and Jim Duggan team up with the Windham Brothers for a match against the Headshrinkers and Ludvig Borga!

WWF Tag Team Champions The Quebecers put the titles on the line against the returning team of Demolition!

The Ultimate Warrior meets Big Van Vader!

WWF Intercontinental Champion Steve Austin defends the belt against former Champion Mr. Perfect!

Hulk Hogan and “Rowdy” Roddy Piper join forces to face Bob Orton Jr. and Big John Hawk!

And, the big one, WWF Champion Yokozuna puts the title on the line against the winner of the Royal Rumble, Lex Luger!


HOWARD FINKEL introduces VANESSA WILLIAMS to sing the national anthem.


The Fink then introduces the competitors for the first match.


MIKE AWESOME v. BOB HOLLY
Awesome makes his WWF debut, and it’s an impressive one. He pounds Holly into the mat. Holly does manage to get some offence in, but it makes no difference, Awesome is just too big and too strong. He finally finishes Holly off with a Powerbomb for the pinfall at 6:40.


SEAN MOONEY is standing by with DEMOLITION.

AXE says that the Quebecers don’t stand a chance against Smash and Crush, and promises that there will be NEW Tag Team Champions after it’s said and done!


GREG VALENTINE v. MIKEY WHIPWRECK
Valentine, a former Intercontinental and World Tag Team Champions, is looking to climb the ladder and become a top contender again. The youngster Whipwreck is also looking to make a name for himself in the World Wrestling Federation. Whipwreck is quick, and uses a “stick and move” philosophy early on, getting in some shots on Valentine, then getting out of reach. Valentine finally gets his hands on Whipwreck, and works him over, focusing on Mikey’s knee. Valentine eventually locks on the Figure Four Leglock for the submission at 9:53.


SEAN MOONEY is standing by with Intercontinental Champion STUNNING STEVE AUSTIN.

AUSTIN, his usual arrogant self, brags about what he’s going to do to Mr. Perfect tonight. He says that he knows Perfect’s knee isn’t 100%, and he is going to use that to not only beat Perfect, but end his career!


MR. PERFECT STORMS IN AND ATTACKS AUSTIN!!!


The two men brawl all over the place, until a group of security personnel interject, and break them up.

PERFECT, as he’s being dragged away by security, says he knows Austin is behind this masked man, and promises to make an example of Austin tonight!


HEENAN and MONSOON talk about what just happened. Heenan says that Perfect is finished, and says he’ll enjoy watching Austin put the final nail in the coffin of Mr. Perfect’s career!


HOWARD FINKEL is in the ring, and introduces the competitors for the World Tag Team Title match.


WWF WORLD TAG TEAM TITLE MATCH
THE QUEBECERS (Champs) v. DEMOLITION (w/ Axe)
Quebecer Pierre starts for his team, and gets tossed around like a ragdoll by Smash and Crush. Pierre tries to wrestle them, but the challengers have no interest in that. Jacques comes in, and the Quebecers try to double-team Smash, but Crush comes in and knocks them both senseless by slamming their heads together!

The tide changes when Crush whips Pierre into the ropes, but puts his head down too early. Pierre responds with a swinging neckbreaker, then tags Jacques. Demolition gets the upper hand on Jacques again, until he dumps Crush out of the ring, and then distracts the referee while Pierre whips Crush into the ringpost on the floor, then slams his head into the steel steps. Pierre then tosses Crush back into the ring.

Back inside the ring, Crush gets double-teamed by the Quebecers, and they look to be on their way to victory, until Jacques scoops Pierre up, to slam him on top of Smash, but Smash rolls out of the way, and Pierre gets slammed to the mat. Smash tags Crush in, and the big man goes to town on both Quebecers.

Jacques and Pierre then decide they’ve had enough, and they bail out of the ring, and start to leave ringside . . . BUT AXE HAS OTHER IDEAS!!! Axe nails both men with rights and lefts, and Smash and Crush come up behind the Champions and drag them back to the ring.

In the ring, Crush nails Jacques with a huge headbutt, that sends him tumbling through the ropes and to the floor. Smash and Crush then deliver the Demolition Decapitation on Quebecer Pierre.

Smash covers Pierre, and gets the 1, 2, 3 at 10:50.

DEMOLITION ARE THE NEW TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS!!!


SEAN MOONEY is standing by with LEX LUGER.

LUGER can’t wait to finally get his hands on Yokozuna again, and is confident that he will leave Madison Square Garden as the new World Champion!

After Luger leaves, LITTLE RICHARD walks in.

MOONEY says that Little Richard will be the guest timekeeper for the main event, and asks his predictions for some of the remaining matches.

LITTLE RICHARD predicts that we will see title changes in the two remaining title matches, saying that Perfect will beat Steve Austin, and Lex Luger will win the big one against Yokozuna.


In the ring, HOWARD FINKEL introduces the competitors for the next match.


THE BERZERKER v. BRUTUS BEEFCAKE
The Berzerker goes berzerk on Beefcake to start, but Beefcake quickly turns things around. Beefcake gets the pinfall after hitting the big man with a DDT at 5:29.


TATANKA & JIM DUGGAN & BARRY & KENDALL WINDHAM v. THE HEADSHRINKERS (Samu, Fatu and Samoan Savage) & LUDVIG BORGA
We start out with all 8 men brawling in the ring to start. After a minute or so of that, referee Dave Hebner finally gets some order restored. Duggan battles Samu, but Fatu and the Savage keep coming in to double and triple-team Hacksaw. This brings Tatanka in, followed by Ludvig Borga from the heel team. As Tatanka and Borga brawl, the Headshrinkers once again triple-team Duggan. Barry Windham comes in, and nails Fatu with a Bulldog.

Kendall Windham comes in as well, and now we’ve got all 8 men in the ring again. Dave Hebner has had enough, and calls for the bell. He throws the match out, declaring it a No-Contest, at 6:57.


SEAN MOONEY is joined by World Champion YOKOZUNA and WOMAN.

MOONEY talks about Yoko’s title defence later tonight against Lex Luger.

WOMAN says Luger is going to get crushed like a bug in the main event!

YOKO ends with his usual BONZAI!!!


We see a video of the recent events between Mr. Perfect and Intercontinental Champion Steve Austin, including a mysterious masked man showing up and sticking his nose in Perfect’s business.


HOWARD FINKEL introduces the competitors for the IC Title match.


WWF INTERCONTINENTAL TITLE MATCH
STUNNING STEVE AUSTIN (Champ) v. MR. PERFECT
Perfect comes out first, and when Austin makes his way down the aisle, Perfect decides he doesn’t want to wait until he’s in the ring, and Perfect jumps out of the ring and attacks Austin in the aisleway!!!

They brawl down the aisle and to ringside, where Perfect slams Austin’s head into the ringpost, then tosses him into the ring. Back inside, Perfect doesn’t even wait for the the ref’s instructions or the bell, he continues to tear into Austin!

Austin bails out of the ring, but Perfect follows him. Outside the ring, Austin gets the upper hand by drawing Perfect in, then jabbing a thumb into his eye. Austin then drives Perfect, back-first, into the ring apron, and rolls him back into the ring.

In the ring, Austin targets the knee of Mr. Perfect, that he injured two weeks ago on RAW. Austin works on the knee, but Perfect keeps fighting back. Austin picks Perfect up and delivers a standing suplex, which gets him a 2-count. Stunning Steve then whips Perfect into the corner, but Perfect charges back out, and drops Austin with a clothesline.

Perfect then goes on the offensive, but it’s obvious that his knee is bothering him, and when he tries to lift Austin up for a suplex, the knee gives out. This allows Austin to go back on the offensive for a few minutes, but Perfect once again battles back and takes control of the match.

At that point, the mysterious masked man shows up again, and comes down to the ring. Neither wrestler notices him, until referee Tim White gets knocked down, and the masked man climbs into the ring!

Perfect sees him, and after putting Austin on the mat with a headbutt, he turns his attention to the masked man. Perfect nails the mystery man with a series of rights and lefts that put him on the mat as well. Perfect then turns his attention back to Austin, and continues to brawl with him. Perfect tosses Austin out of the ring.

At that point, the masked man pulls off his mask, to reveal . . .

IT’S THE HEARTBREAK KID SHAWN MICHAELS!!!


Perfect turns around, and sees Michaels! Before Perfect can react, Michaels nails him with a SUPERKICK!!

With Perfect flat on his back on the mat, Michaels jumps out of the ring. Austin comes back in, and helps the referee up.

Perfect is out, and Austin covers him for the pinfall at 18:22.


Austin and Michaels celebrate outside the ring, then leave ringside together.


SEAN MOONEY joins up with STEVE AUSTIN and SHAWN MICHAELS as they reach the backstage area.

MOONEY asks about what we just saw, and if they had planned this from the start?

AUSTIN says Perfect is so predictable, he fell for it, hook line and sinker!

MICHAELS says that he and Perfect have unfinished business, going back to the Spring and Summer of last year. He says that he and Austin got the better of Perfect!


We see footage of Big Van Vader making his debut at the Royal Rumble by attacking the Ultimate Warrior during the World Title match.


HOWARD FINKEL is in the ring, and introduces the competitors for the next match.


BIG VAN VADER v. THE ULTIMATE WARRIOR
This match is a wild brawl right from the opening bell. The Warrior quickly gets the upper hand, but Vader battles back. After pounding on the Warrior, Vader goes for his splash from the second rope, but the Warrior rolls out of the way and Vader crashes to the mat. This allows Warrior to go on the offensive, but Vader is able to grab the headgear that he wears to the ring, and right in front of the referee, he bashes Warrior over the head with it!

Referee Dave Hebner calls for the bell, and awards the match to the Ultimate Warrior by DQ at 4:20.

Vader isn’t done, he pulls the barely conscious Warrior to his feet, and delivers a POWERBOMB! With Warrior laid out, Vader leaves the ring to a chorus of boos from the MSG crowd.


SEAN MOONEY interviews HULK HOGAN and RODDY PIPER in the hallway outside the babyface dressing room.

HOGAN promises that Hulkamania will run wild on Hawk and Orton tonight.

PIPER talks about the Piper’s Pit fiasco on RAW a couple of weeks ago, with Orton dressing up like Piper. Hot Rod says that tonight, he’s going to make Orton and Hawk pay for that!


HOWARD FINKEL introduces the competitors for the next match.


HULK HOGAN & RODDY PIPER v. JOHN HAWK & BOB ORTON, JR.
Hawk and Orton come out first. Hogan and Piper then come to the ring, and play to the crowd by both ripping their shirts off. Orton and Hawk attack them from behind, and the match starts with all four men brawling in the ring.

After order is restored, John Hawk challenges Hogan to a test of strength. The two men trade control of the test of strength, before Hogan finally gets the upper hand . . . but Hawk kicks him in the gut! Hawk then pummels Hogan. Orton comes in, and they double-team him, until Piper breaks that up.

The match is mostly Hogan and Hawk, with Piper and Orton coming in occasionally, until late in the match, when Orton and Piper are the legal men. After a short exchange, Piper locks Orton in a Sleeperhold!

Orton fights it for as long as he can, but he’s fading, and Hogan keeps John Hawk from breaking it up.

A moment later, Orton is out, and Piper and Hogan are declared the winners at 10:19.


We see a highlight package that features Lex Luger slamming Yokozuna on the USS Intrepid on July 4, 1993. Then Luger beating Yoko by count-out at SummerSlam ’93, and finally of Luger winning this year’s Royal Rumble to earn this shot at the belt.


HOWARD FINKEL introduces the guest timekeeper for the main event, LITTLE RICHARD. Then Finkel introduces the guest ring announcer, New York Knicks star PATRICK EWING.

EWING introduces the competitors for the main event.


WWF CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH
YOKOZUNA (Champ) (w/ Woman) v. LEX LUGER
Yoko attacks Luger from behind before the bell. The Champion works Luger over for the next couple of minutes, wearing the challenger down. Luger fights back, and nails Yoko with a headbutt, but it seems to take more out of Luger than the Champion. Yokozuna rakes the eyes of the challenger, causing referee Tim White to admonish him.

The Champion dominates the next few minutes, but Lex eventually battles back, and catches Yokozuna with a Bulldog out of the corner, for a 2-count. Luger then comes off the second rope with a clothesline, but again only a 2-count.

Finally, Luger ran the ropes, and caught Yokozuna with the Forearm Smash! Yoko hits the mat, and Luger covers him for the ONE-TWO-THREE!!!!

WE HAVE A NEW WWF WORLD CHAMPION!!!


LEX LUGER celebrates in the ring with the World Title as Yokozuna leaves the ring. Woman walks off on her own, shaking her head in disgust, and leaving Yokozuna behind.


BOBBY HEENAN and GORILLA MONSOON recap what we saw tonight, and wrap up the show.

GORILLA MONSOON and BOBBY HEENAN welcome us to the Manhattan Center in New York City for another edition of MONDAY NIGHT RAW!!!


GORILLA and BOBBY then talk about WrestleMania 10, which took place 24 hours ago, at Madison Square Garden. Some big suprises, and two championships changed hands.

They are joined at ringside by the new WWF Champion, LEX LUGER!

MONSOON congratulates the new Champion, and asks what’s next for Luger.

LUGER thanks the fans for all their support, he couldn’t have done it without them. He says that he’s got rematches signed with Yokozuna, and there’s plenty of other wrestlers here in the WWF who are deserving of title shots. Luger says that he’s gone from the hunter to the hunted, but that’s just fine with him. He plans to be a fighting Champion, and he’ll take on any and all challengers.

HEENAN talks about this week’s big match, which happens to be coming up next, Bobby says he can’t wait, because millions of viewers are going to see Shawn Michaels destroy Mr. Perfect!

MONSOON says that we do indeed have a HUGE main event this week, Shawn Michaels, who made his return at WrestleMania by costing Mr. Perfect the Intercontinental Title, will be in action against Perfect, and the match is NEXT!


Before the match, we see highlights of the masked man revealing himself to be Shawn Michaels at WrestleMania, and superkicking Perfect, which allows Austin to pin him.


HOWARD FINKEL introduces the competitors for the first match.


MR. PERFECT v. “THE HEARTBREAK KID” SHAWN MICHAELS (w/ Steve Austin) – Perfect is in a foul mood, after Michaels cost him the IC Title just 24 hours earlier. He attacks Michaels before the bell, but Austin gets up on the apron to distract Perfect, allowing Michaels to go on the offensive.

Perfect quickly turns things around, and whips HBK into the turnbuckle for the corner flip out to the floor. As Michaels tries to get back in the ring, Perfect nails him with rights and lefts, keeping HBK on the apron. HBK finally resorts to a thumb to the eye, causing Perfect to back off, so Michaels can get back in the ring.

HBK takes over at that point, and nails Perfect with a wicked swinging neckbreaker for a very close nearfall. Michaels continues on the offensive, and gets a few more nearfalls, but he can’t put Perfect away. At one point, Michaels has Perfect down in the corner, and while HBK distracts the referee, Steve Austin chokes Perfect.

MONSOON sends us to a commercial break, and says the match will resume when we come back.

Michaels v. Perfect continues...

As we come back from the break, Michaels nails Perfect with a picture-perfect standing suplex, but again only gets a 2-count. Michaels is getting frustrated, and makes a mistake when he whips Perfect into the corner, then charges at him. Perfect gets his foot up, and Michaels takes the boot right in the jaw. Perfect comes out of the corner with a clothesline, then dropkicks HBK as he gets back to his feet.

Perfect dominates the next minute or two, and gets a series of very close nearfalls on Michaels, but HBK won’t stay down. Michaels eventually turns the tables with a low blow, then targets the knee of Perfect, the same one that Steve Austin injured a couple weeks back. Perfect really sells it, and Michaels, thinking he’s got Perfect where he wants him, goes for a Figure Four Leglock . . . but Perfect grabs HBK’s hair and rolls him up in a small package. ONE...TWO...NO! Michaels kicks out!

Perfect is up, and drops Michaels with a clothesline for another nearfall. Perfect whips Michaels into the corner, and then sits him on the top turnbuckle and attempts to suplex him off the top, but Michaels nails him with a series of rights, that cause Perfect to stagger backwards out of the corner. Michaels then jumps off the top rope with a flying bodypress...ONE . . . TWO . . . Perfect kicks out!

Perfect gets the upper hand again . . . and goes for the Perfect-Plex, but STEVE AUSTIN gets up on the ring apron, distracting Perfect.

Michaels distracts the referee while Austin BLASTS Perfect in the head with the IC Title belt! Perfect is stunned, and Michaels schoolboys him. Michaels grabs Perfect’s trunks as the ref counts . . . ONE . . . TWO . . . THREE!!

With some help from Steve Austin, Shawn Michaels makes his return to the WWF a successful one with a win over Mr. Perfect at 16:11.


Afterwards, Michaels and Austin gang up on Perfect and work him over until several wrestlers, including WWF Champion Lex Luger, charge the ring and run the heels off.


MONSOON talks about what we just saw, but BOBBY’S laughing too hard to say anything.

GORILLA says that this isn’t going to sit well with Mr. Perfect, and says there will be hell to pay for Michaels and Austin!

MONSOON then talks about the return of...



WWF Superstars!


MONSOON says that, starting on May 7, fans can catch all the stars of the World Wrestling Federation each and every Saturday morning at 10am EST, on USA Network as WWF Superstars returns!

GORILLA says that he will be hosting the show, and will have a different co-host each week. He says it’ll be a nice break from Bobby Heenan!

HEENAN doesn’t take kindly to that, and the two argue as the show cuts to a commercial break.

MOONEY says that WrestleMania is now behind us, and we look forward to the next big Pay-Per-View event from the WWF . . . SUMMERSLAM!

MOONEY says that SummerSlam will take place on Sunday night, August 7, live on PPV from the United Center in Chicago, IL. We’ll have more information on that as the event gets closer.

SEAN says that before that, we have our very first In Your House event. The In Your House shows will be PPV calibre shows, but will be broadcast for free on USA Network every couple of months.

The very first one will take place on Sunday night, May 29 and will originate from the SkyDome in Toronto, Ontario, Canada!


Three big matches have been signed so far . . .

Two former WWF Champions square off, as Hulk Hogan faces Yokozuna!

Big Van Vader meets The Ultimate Warrior!

And, new World Tag Team Champions Demolition defend the belts against former Champions The Quebecers!


MOONEY says that, on top of all the big matches that will take place, there will be a huge, non-televised bonus match, a special treat just for the fans in attendance.

NON-TITLE MATCH
DEMOLITION v. BARRY HOROWITZ & RENO RIGGINS – Demolition destroy their opponents, finishing Riggins off in just under two minutes with the Demolition Decapitation.

During the match, the Quebecers come out and watch the match, but there’s no confrontation.


MONSOON and HEENAN are joined by former Tag Team Champions THE QUEBECERS.

JACQUES whines about losing the Tag Titles at WrestleMania, saying that Demolition cheated. He says that Demolition wasn’t even in the WWF at the time they issued the open challenge, it was meant for teams that are actually a part of the WWF!

MONSOON responds that they never specified that.

JACQUES says that they shouldn’t have to specify, it was implied.

PIERRE says it doesn’t matter, because on May 29 at In Your House, in their home country, they will regain the belts and once again, be WWF Tag Team Champions!

JACQUES, in French, tells Demolition that their time as Champions will soon come to an end!

BIG VAN VADER v. DUANE GILL – Poor Gill doesn’t stand a chance here against the monster Vader. Vader pounds him into the mat, and even though Gill gets a few shots in, Vader dominates the match and puts Gill away with a Powerbomb at 2:15.


MONSOON says that Piper’s Pit returns this week, and he sends us to the set.




HOT ROD says that, at WrestleMania 10, on the biggest stage of them all, he and Hogan teamed up, 10 years after they battled each other at the very first WrestleMania, and defeated those two goofs, Johnny Hawk and Bob Orton, Jr.!

RODDY says that he wants to find out from Bob Orton just how it felt when Piper locked on that Sleeperhold, and then introduces his guest . . . COWBOY BOB ORTON!

ORTON comes out, with a scowl on his face.

PIPER says he caught Orton’s version of the Pit last week, and says that Orton really can’t pull off the kilt, with those skinny little chicken legs!

ORTON gets in Piper’s face, and the two have an intense staredown.

At that point, JOHN HAWK shows up, he’s carrying a bullrope . . . HAWK BLASTS PIPER IN THE HEAD WITH THE COWBELL THAT WAS ATTACHED TO THE ROPE!!!

Piper goes down, and Orton and Hawk put the boots to him.

When Orton pulls Piper up, Hot Rod has blood trickling down his face. Orton nails him with a right hand that puts Piper back on the floor. Orton and Hawk stomp him a few more times . . . until Hulk Hogan arrives on the scene!

Hawk and Orton take off, as Hogan checks on Piper, eventually helping him to the back.

TATANKA v. BROOKLYN BRAWLER – Brawler gets some offence in, and gives Tatanka a tough match, but in the end, the Native American gets the win with the Indian Death Drop at 4:35.


MONSOON and HEENAN are joined by TATANKA after the match.

TATANKA congratulates his friend Lex Luger on his title win, and says that he’s happy to be back in the WWF, after being on the shelf for several months. He says that he’s not finished with Ludvig Borga yet, and after he deals with Borga, he hopes to work his way back up the ladder, and to the top of the World Wrestling Federation.


MONSOON and HEENAN recap tonight’s show, then hype next week’s show.

GORILLA MONSOON and BOBBY HEENAN welcome us to the Will Rogers Coliseum in Fort Worth for another edition of MONDAY NIGHT RAW!!!

MONSOON runs down what we’ll see on the show tonight, including the main event, a big tag team match, as Jim Duggan teams up with Tatanka for a match with former Tag Team Champions, The Quebecers.

HEENAN talks about last week, and says that Mr. Perfect got EXACTLY what he deserved, and he can’t wait until Michaels and Austin run that no good jerk out of the WWF, once and for all!


GORILLA and BOBBY are joined by Intercontinental Champion STUNNING STEVE AUSTIN and SHAWN MICHAELS.

MONSOON says they should be ashamed of themselves, and that dastardly attack on Mr. Perfect last week. He suggests that Michaels was about to be beat when Austin got involved.

MICHAELS gets in Gorilla’s face, and says that there was no way Perfect would have beat him. He says that Perfect had cheated throughout the match, so Austin decided to put a stop to it.

AUSTIN says that there’s no competition for him in the WWF, the fans had better get used to seeing him with the IC belt, because nobody in the WWF has what it takes to take it from him.

STUNNING STEVE then says that, as the IC Champ, that should make him the #1 contender to the WWF Title, and hints that he may challenge Luger for the World Title.

THE WINDHAMS v. BARRY HOROWITZ & RENO RIGGINS – Barry and Kendall are working like a finely-tuned machine. They keep Riggins isolated in their corner, and work him over. Riggins is finally able to tag out, but Horowitz doesn’t fair any better. Kendall picks up the win for the Windhams after a diving Lariat off the top rope on Horowitz for the pinfall at 5:11.


GORILLA and BOBBY are joined at ringside by BARRY and KENDALL WINDHAM after the match.

GORILLA talks about the Headshrinkers, saying that the Windhams and Headshrinkers met at the end of March on RAW, but the match ended in a double count-out, then the two teams met again as part of the big 8-man tag team match at WrestleMania.

BARRY says that the Headshrinkers are a tough team, and there’s no doubt in his mind that their paths will cross again, as both teams are looking to become top contenders to the World Tag Team Titles.

KENDALL says he and his brother have been training hard, and he believes that one day soon, they will be wearing tag team Championship gold!


MONSOON sends us to Sean Mooney for an update on the very first In Your House event, which will be broadcast live on USA Network from SkyDome in Toronto on May 29.

MIKE AWESOME v. DUANE GILL – Gorilla and Heenan talk about the youngster, Mike Awesome, and Monsoon says he’s got a bright future ahead of him. Awesome is impressive, and makes short work of Gill, nailing him with a Powerbomb for the pinfall at 4:59.


HEENAN and MONSOON are joined by JOHN HAWK and BOB ORTON, JR.

HEENAN says that watching Hawk pound Roddy Piper with that cowbell was one of the greatest things he’s ever seen!

HAWK laughs and says that it was a great feeling, hitting Piper with that bell, watching the blood pour out of Piper’s head!

ORTON says that he knows Roddy Piper, he knows that, because they embarrassed Hot Rod on national television, that Piper’s going to want revenge. Orton says that if he wants another match with Hawk, it’s going to be on THEIR terms . . . it’s going to be a TEXAS BULLROPE MATCH!

MONSOON says that we’ll get a response from Hot Rod, because Piper’s Pit is coming up when we come back from the commercial break.

PIPER says that, before he gets to his guest this week, he wants to address the challenge issued by John Hawk and Bob Orton. Piper says Orton’s right, he wants payback for the attack last week, and if Hawk wants a Bullrope match, well that’s just fine with him! Piper says he’ll see Hawk on May 29 at SkyDome in Toronto!

PIPER then introduces his guest, MR. PERFECT.

MR. PERFECT talks about the comments made earlier by Shawn Michaels and Steve Austin. He says that they think they’re real tough when they gang up on somebody, but when Perfect gets a partner, and it’s an even playing field, the World will see what he’s known all along, that Michaels and Austin are a couple of cowards!

PERFECT continues, saying that maybe he will find himself a partner, and challenges Austin and Michaels to a match on May 29 at the In Your House event.

PIPER wishes Perfect luck, and sends us back to Heenan and Monsoon at ringside.


THE QUEBECERS v. TATANKA & HACKSAW JIM DUGGAN – The match starts off with Tatanka and Duggan going on the offensive. They work quite well together, and keep Pierre isolated in their corner. Jacques comes in, and the Quebecers double-team Duggan to get the upper hand. After a short brawl with all four men in the ring, the Quebecers take over, and keep Duggan in their corner.

A few minutes later, Tatanka and Duggan regain control of the match. At that point, Jacques grabs the taser-stick that he used as the Mountie, and still carries around with him, and cracks Duggan over the head with it!

Duggan is out, and while Jacques brawls with Tatanka, Pierre covers Hacksaw for the pinfall at 7:04.

Afterwards, with Duggan down and out, The Quebecers then gang up on Tatanka and give him a beating . . . BUT DEMOLITION HITS THE RING!!

Smash and Crush brawl with The Quebecers briefly, until Jacques and Pierre hightail it out of the ring and to the back.

GORILLA MONSOON and BOBBY HEENAN welcome us to the Tacoma Dome in Tacoma, Washington for another edition of MONDAY NIGHT RAW!!!

MONSOON hypes the show, when BOBBY interrupts him, and tells him that he just got word there’s something going on outside, involving Mr. Perfect and Shawn Michaels!


We cut to a shot of the parking lot at the Tacoma Dome

We see Michaels and Perfect trading punches, both in their street clothes. Perfect gets the upper hand, but Michaels jabs a thumb in his eye, stopping Perfect in his tracks.

Michaels pummels Perfect, and even tries to slam Perfect’s head against the hood of a nearby car. Perfect is ready for it, and puts his hands down to block it, then elbows Michaels in the gut.

From there, Perfect nails HBK with some stiff right hands, and then Perfect SUPLEXES MICHAELS ON THE HOOD OF THE CAR!!!

Several security guards push their way past the onlookers, and drag Perfect off of the Heartbreak Kid. Michaels is groggy getting up, and has to be helped from the scene.

We go back inside the arena.


HEENAN is beside himself, saying that was a cheapshot on the part of Mr. Perfect, he should be BANNED FOR LIFE from the World Wrestling Federation!

MONSOON says that he’s sure we’ll hear from Shane McMahon, regarding any punishment that might be taken against the two men.

HEENAN is shocked, and asks Monsoon why Michaels would receive any punishment, as he was undoubtably the victim.

MONSOON says he doubts very much that Michaels was just an innocent victim.

The two continue to argue as we go to the ring for the first match.


HOWARD FINKEL introduces the competitors for the first match.


BIG VAN VADER v. TERRY TAYLOR – Taylor makes his return to the WWF, but it’s not a successful one. Vader dominates Taylor, and nails him with a Powerbomb for the pinfall at 2:18.

THE QUEBECERS v. THE WINDHAMS – Both teams are looking to move up the ladder. The Quebecers are looking to regain the World Tag Titles that they lost at WrestleMania, and the Windhams are looking to prove that they belong with the top teams in the World.

After a brief feeling out process, the Windhams eventually take control of the match, but Kendall makes a mistake by putting his head down too soon after whipping Jacques into the ropes. Rougeau catches him with a vicious swinging neckbreaker, and then works Kendall over, making sure to keep him in the Quebecers half of the ring. The former Champions double-team Kendall every chance they get.

Kendall is able to fight his way back to his corner, and tag in his older brother. Barry comes in like a house of fire, and clears the ring of the Quebecers.

Back in the ring, Pierre squares off with Barry. Windham gets the upper hand, and seems to have the match well in hand, until Pierre whips Barry into the corner, and Jacques then cracks Windham over the back of the head with the cattle prod.

Windham crumbles to the mat, and Pierre quickly covers him, with his own feet on the ropes for leverage, to get the pinfall at 8:53.

LUGER talks about matches he’s got coming up with against several challengers. He says that he’s got rematches signed with former Champion Yokozuna, including a Cage match, coming up soon at the Cow Palace in San Francisco. Luger says that he’s worked hard to get to the top, and he’s going to do everything in his power to stay there.


There’s some commotion . . . AND OUT WALKS STUNNING STEVE AUSTIN!!

GORILLA gets between the two men, and says he doesn’t want any trouble out of either of them.

LUGER says Austin wouldn’t try anything, because Shawn Michaels isn’t around to help him!

AUSTIN gets in Luger’s face, and says that he’s a funny guy. He says that Luger’s got something that he wants . . . the World Heavyweight Title!

STEVE continues, saying that as the Intercontinental Champion, he should be the #1 contender, but instead, Luger’s wrestling the easy challengers, guys he knows he can beat!

LUGER says he’s a fighting Champion, if Austin wants a shot at the big belt, that’s just fine with him.

AUSTIN smiles, and says that Luger is going to regret that, and then walks off.

LUGER tells Gorilla and Heenan that he’s going to make Austin eat his words, then walks off.
