Marc Lowrance opens the show.
Lowrance, “Welcome fans, we are a week away from crowning a Texas Champion. We will talk about the big show at the Super Pit. We will announce the participants in the tournament. We also have a great main event. Two men who will be in that tournament will meet tonight, the popular Iceman King Parsons takes on the ‘Nubian Terror’ Moadib. We will also talk with the new Jr. Heavyweight Champion. Let’s go to Doyle King and get things started.”
Match #1
The Simpson Brothers vs. “Hollywood” John Tatum and Steven Dane
The popular South African brothers are in action. Shaun starts with Tatum. “Hollywood” uses all his underhanded tactics, and Simpson is in trouble. Tatum works him over in the corner. Shaun rallies and fights his way out. He tags in his older brother. Steve cleans house. Dane tags in and tries his hand. Simpson is too much, and hits a flying bodypress for the win.
Winners- The Simpson Brothers
Match #2
The One Man Gang w/ “Playboy” Gary Hart vs. Chris Walker
Walker is very powerful, but he gives up so much size. Chris tries, but the Gand is so big, and powerful. “Moon” hammers away at Walker. Chris has no chance and OMG wins with the 747 splash.
Winner- One Man Gang
Doyle King is with Chazz.
King, “With me is the new Global Jr. Heavyweight Champion, Chazz. Chazz, first of all, congratulations. That was a great win over Mike Dahl.”
Chazz, “Thanks Doyle, I’m so happy. I did this for the fans, and I am so proud.”
King, “There are many men who would like a shot at that title.”
Chazz, “I know that. I’m ready for anyone, and my contract is open.”
King, “Chazz meets Manny Villalobos when we return”
Match #3
Non Title Match
Chazz (Global Jr. Heavyweight Champion) vs. Manny Villalobos
The new champion starts quickly. He crisply moves around the ring. Villalobos is frustrated. He tries several underhanded moves. He lands a kick to the midsection. Chazz recovers and goes to work. He wins with a Thez press. The Champion is going to be hard to beat.
Winner- Chaz
Matc Lowrance is in the studio.
Lowrance, “Welcome fans, we are one week away from declaring a Texas Champion. On April 22 at the ‘Super Pit’ on the campus of North Texas State University, we present an eight man tournament. Some of the best in the GWF will be involved. Here who is entered.
Iceman King Parsons, the Super Destroyer, the Patriot, Johnny Mantell, Joel Deaton, Scott Putski, Billy Black, and Moadib ‘The Nubian Terror’
Any one of these men would be a worthy champion. We also have two tag team matches scheduled.
For the Global Tag Team Championship, Bobby Duncum Jr. and Big John Hawk defend against Tribal Nation
Finally we have a six man tag team match, the North American Champion, Kevin Von Erich, teams with the Simpson Brothers take on Gary Hart’s men, ‘The California Stud’ Rod Price, the One Man Gang, and Gary Young
What a night it will be. A very limited number of tickets remain.”

Non Title Match
Kevin Von Erich (North American Champion) vs. Killer Brooks
Plays, and Kevin Von Erich comes to the ring. The Sportatorium crowd goes crazy. The rugged Brooks is unmoved. Referee John Keaton calls for the bell. Brooks kicks, chokes, and punches, and Kevin is in trouble. Brooks works over the Champion. Kevin rallies. He fights back, and backs Brooks into the corner. Now Kevin is dishing it out. Von Erich uses a flying bodypress for the win. As Keaton raises Kevin’s hand, Gary Hart and his men come to ringside. Kevin is surrounded. Now, on the other side of the arena, the Simpson Brothers come to the ring, and join Kevin. Cooler heads prevail, and both groups disperse.
Winner- Kevin Von Erich
Match #5
Iceman King Parsons vs. Moadib w/General Skandor Akbar
This one will be chaotic. James Beard is your referee. The bell rings and we are underway. Moadib is so powerful, he overpowers Parsons. Akbar looks very pleased. He shouts instructions. Parsons know he has to use his speed, and he does. Now he is in control. The match goes back and forth until both men end up on the arena floor. Beard’s count reaches ten. Both men are counted out.
Result- Double Count Out
Marc Lowrance, “What a wild match. Both of those men will be in the big tournament. If you don’t have tickets for the ‘Super Pit’ act quickly. We have one more show before the big night, don’t miss it!
