Jim Ross and Bob Caudle welcome everyone to Saturday Night Superstars LIVE here on the Superstation!!!!! We are one week away from Clash of the Champions!!!! And we have one heck of a show for you today!!! First the Youngbloods have asked for a chance to apologize to the Rock N Roll Express for their actions last week and the Rock N Roll Express have agreed to the meeting!!! Also here today, after what went down at the close of the program last week, The Horsemen have demanded to be heard as a unit here tonight. In the Main Event today Brad Armstrong hooks it up with Terrance Taylor and Taylor can’t back out of this one!!!! Plus National Heavyweight Champion “Mr. Wonderful” Paul Orndorff teams with the Shoguns in six man action but now lets go to the ring for the debut of “GATOR” GARY YOUNG!!!!!!!
”GATOR” GARY YOUNG DEFEATS JOEY MAGGS WITH THE GATORBREAKER (HANGMAN’S NECKBREAKER) @5:01
Young comes out to the ring wearing jeans and boots as well as a gator skin vest and a gator tooth necklace. He just breaks out into a brawl as soon as the bell rings, wrestling as dirty as he looks. Maggs puts up a fight but in the end it’s not enough to defeat Young here in his TBS Debut!
Jim Ross and Bob Caudle are at ringside and have been joined by Terrance Taylor and Mr. Jones!!! Ross asks about tonight’s Main Event as Taylor will face the man who defeated Mr. Jones in the middle of the ring last week, Brad Armstrong!!!
Terrance Taylor: You idiots have no idea what you have done!!! I am worth more than this, I should be in a title match at Clash of the Champions, I should be wrestling someone of substance. But instead it’s BRAD ARMSTRONG. A member of the MEDIOCRE Armstrong Family. What a joke!! Just because he was able to beat Mr. Jones doesn’t mean he has what it takes to be in the ring with me!!! Just know this, what happens to Brad Armstrong tonight isn’t my fault, it’s YOUR fault!!! It’s the fans fault, it’s the matchmakers fault, and when they are STRETCHERING the BROKEN Brad Armstrong out of the ring tonight I hope all of you feel the shame you should!!!!!
KING TONGA W/GARY HART DEFEATS THE ITALIAN STALLION WITH THE TONGAN DEATH GRIP @ 3:01
Tonga totally dominates the Italian Stallion, beating him from pillar to post. This match was over before it started. After the match Tonga and Gary Hart join Jim Ross and Bob Caudle at ringside. Ross asks about the open challenge Tonga has laid out for the Clash.
Gary Hart: Jim Ross I do not expect anyone to take up the challenge laid out by my man King Tonga!!! No one has the guts to step in the ring with the UNDEFEATED King Tonga, this man comes from a long line of warrior barbarian kings from the Isle of Tonga. He is the most dangerous man in all of wrestling!!! There is no one in wrestling with the guts to take on my man. And if anyone does prove to be more brave and foolish than anyone else than they better give their soul to Jesus because their BUTT belongs to King Tonga!!!
Jim Ross and Bob Caudle talk about what happened last week between the Youngbloods and the Rock N Roll Express. They throw us to footage of last week!!!
LAST WEEK ON SATURDAY NIGHT SUPERSTARS:
We see the closing moments of last week’s match as Ricky Morton catches Chris Youngblood with a roll up to get the win. After the match the Youngbloods are visually upset. Ricky and Robert offer handshakes, it takes a moment, but the Youngbloods finally shake the Rock N Roll Express’ hands, BUT THEN THE YOUNGBLOODS ATTACK RICKY AND ROBERT!!!!!!!!
The Youngbloods absolutely annihilate the Rock N Roll Express, going as far as slamming Ricky’s head into the ring post and beating Robert down in the ring. Rick is busted open after hitting the ringpost!!! Chris takes Ricky’s blood and smears it on his chest as he lets out a war cry!!! END VTR
Back at ringside Jim Ross and Bob Caudle have been joined by the Youngbloods. Ross says that the Youngbloods asked for this time, and he has heard they plan to apologize to the Rock N Roll Express here today, and he is glad to hear it because he always thought the Youngbloods were fine young men.
Mark Youngblood: Jim Ross, my brother and I have a lot to apologize for. There are many things we have done, things we have ignored and that ends TODAY!!! What we would like to ask is that the Rock N Roll Express come out here so we can address them directly.
Ricky and Robert come out in street clothes. They look a little hesitant to come out.
Ricky Morton: Alright, y’all said you wanted to apologize for what happened last week, and Robert and I know that sometimes a match can just push you to a point where you do things you wouldn’t normally do. And we are man enough to accept your apology, and shake your hands.

Robert Gibson and a very bloody Ricky Morton are with Jim Ross and Bob Caudle and they are RAGING MAD!!! Jim Ross is asking Ricky and Robert to please go get medical attention.
Ricky Morton: Jim Ross, this isn’t the first time Robert and I have gotten our butts beat and it won’t be the last either, so getting checked on can wait because I gotta get something off my chest!!! Jim Ross says the Shoguns are impressive and have to be looked at as future challengers to both the United States Tag Team Titles and the World Tag Team Championship. Ross then sends us to this special look at the man who will debut at Clash of the Champions, KONNAN!!!!
The video is set to Way Cool Jr. as we see Konnan working out, lifting weights and such. Its also cut with shots of Konnan hitting big moves in the ring, high flying, high impact manuvears, it also shows him in his mask signing autographs for people, hugging kids and the video ends with him getting into a Camaro and peeling out of the parking lot. KONNAN EL BARBARO IS COMING TO CLASH OF THE CHAMPIONS then flashes on the screen.
Jim Ross throws us back to the closing of last weeks show, when Sting and his mystery partner former World Heavyweight Champion Terry Funk took on World Tag Team Champions Tully Blanchard and “The Enforcer” Arn Anderson in a non title match:

James Dillon: While I know everyone has something to say, I will start to make a collective challenge on behalf of these fine athletes. Steamboat, Rich, Sting, Funk, what you see here is a collection of some of the greatest athletes in the world, and while individually each of these men are unstoppable, together they are the a force that has never been seen on god’s green earth and will likely never be seen again. And last week you four decided to start a war that you have no chance at winning. Since you four have decided to start the war, we shall finish it. Bob Caulde and Jim Ross are then joined by the man who will challenge the Widowmaker Barry Windham at Clash of the Champions, former World Heavyweight Champion “Wildfire” Tommy Rich!!!!!! When I defeated Terrance Taylor for the World Heavyweight Title I did it because it was my life long dream to become the World Champion, I did it to avenge Dusty Rhodes, I did it because it was I had to do. This time I am coming to take the World Title for a second time but this time I am doing it the fans who break their backs doing things the right way every day, I am doing it for the man who wonders where the money to put food on the table is going to come from but doesn’t give up, and I am doing it for me. Not because I want to fulfill a life long dream, not because I have to be Champion, no I am doing it because after what you have done to me, to my family and to all these fans I want take my ten pounds of flesh for your sins!!!!
