Lance Russell welcomes both Dave Brown and the fans to another week of Memphis Championship Wrestling. Last week we saw how Lawler introduced himself to the Southern heavyweight champion, “Diamond” Tim Flowers. This week we are going to see the champ in action. We are also going to see Downtown Bruno’s new team, Comrade Busick & Comrade Kronus in tag team action. The “Dirty White Boy” Tony Anthony will be defending the television championship against Stud Stable member, Jimmy Golden. Dave Brown says that Golden better be careful because his cousin and partner, Robert Fuller, isn’t here this week but Rip Oliver is. We also are going to see the Rougeaus in tag team action. We head to the ring for the action.

Bruno leads his men to Lance. He says that he looks around and sees these wrestlers like Jeff Jarrett, Bill Dundee, Dutch Mantel, Buddy Landel and all these other guys but no one as big, as a strong, as mean as his Comrades. He is going to lead them to tag team gold and yes, singles gold. He says everyone is going to learn what Downtown Bruno is about. He leads them to the back as we go to a video.

Lance Russell is in front of a black screen. He mentions that this Monday at the Mid-South Coliseum we are going to see the MCW junior heavyweight championship on the line when champion Jerry Lynn defends against Billy Joe Travis. The Dirty White Boys will take on Steve Keirn & Wendell Cooley. Phil Hickerson takes on Spike Huber and Jeff Jarrett takes on the debuting Lanny Poffo. “The Nature Boy” Buddy Landel will take on Davey Rich and in the main event, The Rock N Roll RPM’s defend the MCW tag team titles against “Superstar” Bill Dundee and Dutch Mantel. He brings out Billy Joe Travis who comes out to say that Jerry Lynn has been a tough champion but Travis is willing to beat the man for the title. Lynn has some good high flying skills but this is a good ole’ southern brawl, this ain’t no trampoline. So Monday night when Lynn goes flying through the air, BAM!!!! Travis will give him that punch that will knock his lights out.

We are back and Lance reminds the fans that last week The Stud Stable was attacked from behind by The Dirty White Boys. Right now Jimmy Golden gets a shot at the television championship held by Tony Anthony. Jimmy Golden comes out. He tells Lance that he knows that his cousin Robert isn’t here but he wants Anthony to know that it don’t matter. That TV title is coming to The Stud Stable. We get sent to the ring for the action.

MCW Television Championship: “Dirty White Boy” Tony Anthony def. Jimmy Golden via DQ when Rip Oliver runs in and makes it a two on one against Stud member Golden.

The Dirty White Boys are with Lance while a bloody Jimmy Golden is being taken care of. Anthony says he and Oliver just showed what will happen and how dirty they will play. It is a good thing Robert Fuller wasn’t here because he would be left bleeding too. It is just what happens when you mess with the Dirty White Boys. They are going to keep the TV title and will add the tag team titles too. They don’t care if The Stud Stable think they are next in line. The Dirty White Boys just showed what they will do to the Stable. They will leave it laying and bleeding. They leave laughing as we go to a VTR of Lance.

Lance goes over Monday’s card, this time bringing out “The Nature Boy” Buddy Landel. Landel says that while his best friends, well, friend, “Superstar” Bill Dundee carries that guy Dutch around, and the fake king goes after his other buddy, Tim Flowers, -the- Southern heavyweight champion, Landel is going to lay down and stake his claim as the best wrestler in the world today bar none. There is that punk Johnny Rich and he will get a beating. Then he wants anyone else to come to Memphis and get a beating. Lawler was this North American champ. If Lawler can do it, Landel can do it. Anything Lawler or Dutch can do, Landel can do. That starts Monday. He leaves as Lance sends us to commercial

We are back and Lance has the Rougeau Brothers with him. He asks Jacques about an upcoming title shot at the Rock N’ Roll RPMs and Jacques says that he and his brother would love a title shot and will earn one. They will get that shot and when they do, they will walk out the champions. They have no problems facing any team at any time and the RPM’s won’t be the first Rock N Roll team they will defeat. And it isn’t that they are against Rock N Roll. They listen to Roche Voisine, Luba, and Mitsou. They have even been to a Bruce Cockburn concert. Lance laughs and sends them to the ring for their match.

The Rougeaus def. Dale Veasey & Joe Savoldi

When their match is done, The Rougeaus are back with Lance. Before they can talk, Downtown Bruno comes out. He says that his Comrades are ready, willing, and able to take down The Rougeaus. They are ready to end any chance the Rougeaus have at winning the tag team titles. Jacques & Raymond welcome the challenge any time and tell Bruno he can bring his punks next week. Bruno says he will and when it is all said and done, The Rougeaus will be run back to Quebec, France. Lance shakes his head and sends us to a VTR.

A video showing the wrestling teamwork of Tom Prichard & Jim Del Ray is shown set to the tune of Poison by Alice Cooper. They are seen taking on different tag teams and doing different tag team moves as the song plays on. The words “The Heavenly Bodies” scroll across the bottom of the screen before we head to commercial break.

We are back from the last commercial and as the Southern heavyweight champion comes out, Lance shakes his head and tries to ignore him. Flowers yells for Lawler to come out and meet him face to face as Lance tries to tell him he asked that last week and it didn’t work out well for him. Flowers gets in the ring to defend the Southern title as Wendell Cooley makes his way amid cheers.

MAIN EVENT (MCW Southern Heavyweight Championship): “Diamond” Tim Flowers *champion* def. Wendell Cooley

The match ends as Lawler rushes the ring. He gets the jump on Flowers who tends to hold his own until “Nature Boy” Buddy Landel jumps in making it a two on one against Lawler. It evens out as “Superstar” Bill Dundee and Dutch Mantel comes out only just Dutch gets involved. Dundee stays out of it. We fade out to Lance telling fans to stay tuned next week.
