AWA All-Star Wrestling was taped Wednesday, March 1, 93.
Airs Saturday March 4,93. Today's episode kicks off from The Lakeview Arena in Marquette, Michigan, with the AWA banner superimposed over a shot of a red-white-blue wrestling ring. We join the new announcing team of Tony Schiavone & Mike Tenay at the desk for anther exciting hour of AWA Championship Wrestling. The new announcers wish the best to former announcers Nick Bockwinkel & Lee Marshall.

Joining the announcer's is AWA World's Heavyweight Champion Hulk Hogan to talk about his challengers like Roddy Piper, Paul Orndorff, Jake Roberts, Tully Blanchard. Hogan thanks all the little Hulkamanics for their support.

Schiavone announces where the AWA will be this weekend.

Sunday, March 5 in. St. Louis, Mo. at the Checkerdome for a 2 Ring 24 Man Battle Royal! The purse is $50,000.

3. 4 Man Tag Team Match. Tito Santana & Ric Martel beat Louie Spicolli & kid Kash. (7:34). Tito with the bodypress on Kash.

Okerlund interview with Woman who says she is looking for a third or fourth memerber to join the Diamond Inc. She says she fired Tully Blachard for professional reasons & is looking for someone who can do as they are told

4. Semi-Final Event. Dustin Rhodes went to a 10-minute time limit draw with Vampiro. Afterwards both men shook hands.

Okerlund interview with Jake 'the Snake' Roberts who talks about how he likes to get into the mind of his opponent to set the seeds of their own destruction

5. Main Event. Non-Title Single Match. Big Van Vader w/mgr. Harley Race got a count out decision over the AWA World's Heavyweight Champion Hulk Hogan, (5:02). The Ultimate Warrior attacked Hogan when he was knocked out of the ring & posted him while Vader had the referee distracted. The Warrior ran back. Hogan was bleeding & was helped to the back

Okerlund interview Greg 'the Hammer' Valentine on how he is going to take over the AWA when he beats the Huckster for the AWA World's Heavyweight Belt.
