There's a commotion at ringside as a bandaged and still-bleeding Dusty Rhodes runs down with a trashcan. Rhodes bashes Sullivan from behind and begins wailing on him with the can.
Tazmaniac jumps out to the floor but he gets a shot in the head from trashcan, Rhodes throws Sullivan in the ring and begins pounding on him, until Tazmaniac jumps Rhodes from behind. Sullivan is wobbly but he grabs the dented can and bashes it over Dusty's head. The Dream is down again as Kevin Sullivan rips off the bandage on his forehead and gouges it! Sullivan is merciless and drenched in Dusty Rhodes's blood.
A big red "X" is placed over the graphic violence in the ring but viewers can hear Jay Sulli describing brutality of Tazmaniac and Kevin Sullivan absolutely mauling Dusty Rhodes.

Jay Sulli welcomes viewers to Eastern Championship Wrestling - not joined this week by "The American Dream" Dusty Rhodes! Instead, Paul E. Dangerously of The Dangerous Alliance / Hotstuff International is filling in because, according to Paul, Dusty is in the hospital and will not be getting out any time soon after the mauling from Kevin Sullivan and Tazmaniac!
Sulli denies this is the case, saying Rhodes was briefly checked out at the hospital but escaped serious injuries. He's just taking some time to recuperate but he will have a filmed message for the fans next week. Tonight though, Hunter Q. Robbins has issued an open challenge for his ECW Tag Team Champions The Super Destroyers.
In the ring now, Tommy Dreamer shakes hands with (some) of the fans as he continues to get a mixed reception. Last week, Dreamer was dropped on his head by Arn Anderson and, tonight, he looks to turn things around as he faces "Hitman" Tony Stetson. Dreamer takes the fight to Stetson, who cheats at every opportunity. However, Stetson makes a mistake going for a backdrop and ends up getting dropped on his head for a piledriver for the pin.

When Eastern Championship Wrestling returns, Tommy Dreamer is still in the ring and he asks for a microphone from Bob Artese. Dreamer says he didn't except to make waves - certainly he didn't expect to end up on Arn Anderson's radar. However, all he wanted was to ask for a match with Arn last week and he didn't even get to ask for it. So... he's asking for it now.
Paul E. Dangerously questions whether "this kid is defective or something" on commentary as Dreamer goes to put the microphone down. There's a commotion as Arn Anderson makes his way down to the ring. Anderson takes a moment to look Dreamer up and down, with Dangerously making fun of Dreamer's "High Energy pants". Anderson motions for Dreamer to give him the microphone and when Dreamer bends down to get it for him, Arn hooks him and drops Dreamer for the second week in a row with a DDT.
Arn Anderson sits back up, looks over at the prone Dreamer and shakes his head in disgust before rolling out to the floor to walk off. Paul E. Dangerously hopes "for Dreamer's sake" that the lesson Anderson is trying to teach is reverberating in his head right now!

As ECW returns, "The Fabulous" Shane Douglas makes his in-ring debut, with "Hotstuff" Eddie Gilbert and Don Muraco in his corner since Paul E. Dangerously is in the Eagle's Nest with Jay Sulli this week. Douglas takes on fellow newcomer Chad Austin, who surprises Shane early with a picture-perfect dropkick that sends him to the floor to regroup with Muraco and Gilbert. However, Douglas gets right back on his game and he puts Austin away with a belly-to-belly suplex.
In a filmed promo, "Wildman" Sal Bellomo isn't done with the Public Enemy after last week's defeat.
Bellomo: "Public Enemy, you no beat me! If you want a fight in the ECW, you come to Sal. I fight you anytime!"

In footage shot from the beach in Florida, Kevin Sullivan rants and raves about last week should be proof that it will never be over between him and Dusty Rhodes. For ten long years, Sullivan has dreamed of ways of finally driving Rhodes out of pro wrestling. Now, Sullivan has finally found the beast to help him do it, the nasty and vicious Tazmaniac. Sullivan wants Dusty to thank him because he let him live last week, but if he ever comes back to ECW or anywhere else in this business, the Tazmaniac will end 'the dream' once and for all!
A video from Paul E. Dangerously highlights Sabu in action from the FMW promotion in Japan. Dangerously calls Sabu the most "homicidal, genocidal, suicidal, death-defying wrestler" to ever step into the ring - and he's coming to the capital of violence, Philadelphia, at the ECW Arena on March 25, 1993 in a match no other promotion would sign as Sabu faces Road Warrior Hawk!
In a non-title match, ECW Heavyweight Champion Sandman gets ready for his title match against Don Muraco with a tune-up match against Larry Winters. After getting two surfboards broken over his back recently, Sandman is definitely on edge here as he constantly looks over his shoulder to make sure his board is still in the corner. However, he still manages to put away Winters with a spinning reverse neck-breaker.

Backstage, ECW Heavyweight Champion Sandman is still looking over his shoulder as ECW special correspondent Joey Styles tries to get a word with him. Sandman tells Joey he doesn't have time to talk right now - he knows Muraco is around here and he's not losing another board!
Our time remaining is focused on Hunter Q. Robbins III and his ECW Tag Team Champions the Super Destroyers in the ring for their open challenge. At first, it looks like nobody is going to answer, but then the sounds of motorcycles revving can be heard! Cabrini College is on its feet as Rick and Scott Steiner zoom down the aisle on their Harley Davidson bikes! Robbins can't believe it and is trying to cancel the open challenge but the Steiners hit the ring and destroy the Super Ds in under 90 seconds. A Frankensteiner on Super D #2 gives the Steiners the ECW Tag Team Champions in their debut match!
The final seconds of the show feature Rick and Scott Steiner being handed the championships while the camera pans up to the Public Enemy watching from the Eagle's Nest!
