JR: Welcome everyone to Smoky Mountain Wrestling. We are one week away from our new home at the Gran Ole Opry.
BH: Yeee haw!!! Yokels.
JR: I am Jim Ross and with me is the “Brain” Bobby Heenan and we have a top show. Last night we saw a huge card at Freedom Hall. It was the Brawl in the Hall and man, 6 title matches. We saw every title defended from the USWA world title to the US junior championship. We crowned new Smoky Mountain tag team champions and we saw the appearance of “The Nature Boy” Ric Flair.
BH: The real world champion. Forget that Lawler guy.
JR: Today we are going to see Chris Jericho will be in action. The national tv title will be on the line when “White Lightning” Tim Horner defends the belt against Joey Maggs. “Big” Bubba Rogers with Jim Cornette will take on two men, Rick Michaels & Mike Samples and in the main event, “The Rebel” Dick Slater takes on “The Wild Eyed Southern Boy” Tracy Smothers. We are going to hear from Dutch Mantel after his actions and more. So without waiting, let’s get to the ring.

**Jericho comes to the announce table**
JR: Welcome Chris. Congratulations on your singles victory.
CJ: Thanks Jim. It has been a long time since I wrestled in a singles match and it feels good.
JR: We have heard that there is going to be a push in the junior division. Are you going to be a part of it?
CJ: Well…I won’t turn down any matches but I am in my tag team with Lance. We still have a goal to achieve. The Smoky Mountain tag team titles are our goal. But like I said, if the shot at the US junior championship comes my way, I will take that match. Tag team championships are great. Singles titles show you can do it yourself.
JR: Thanks Chris.
**He leaves as Dutch Mantel comes out with Brian Christopher, the US junior champion.**
JR: Dutch…you helped Brian Christopher retain the US junior championship last night.
BC: Listen JR…like I said to you last night, I won myself. That punk was too concerned about trying to out dance the best dancer in the world. Me **he cackles and as he does, Dutch gently moves him out of the way**
DM: Jim Ross, I respect you. You are a southern boy like me. You understand what it is like to have state pride. You are always talking about Oklahoma. Well…I sat with the Memphis Mafia. I saw how the very city that built wrestling in Tennessee was being ignored here. I got my start and had my greatest career moments from Memphis. So when I see how the legends of Memphis are being treated by their own and by those who are in charge here. I did what I needed to do to make sure the Memphis guys are protected. If it means we play a little dirty, then we do it. Brian Christopher didn’t need me to help him. I was out there because I needed to send a message to those who oppose the Memphis Mafia. And let me say something else. We take exception to the name “Memphis Mafia.
JR: Your teammates are the ones who coined the term.
DM: I know that but listen here. In the beginning, it was about just giving Memphis it’s due, to give those that built Tennessee wrestling it’s respect. But then…as the company expands, leaves from its Tennessee roots, ther eare all these new guys coming in and taking over. That won’t happen under my watch. Tennessee wrestling will be defended. Memphis, will be defended. If the guys fom Florida like Dick Slater, those guys who showed up with JJ Dillion, those American Males, the two Canadians and more want to come to Tennessee and change what we do here, our values, our wrestling…then the Mafia will be here to defend it. We are going to defend it for the Tennessee fans and for the tradition of southern wrestling.
**The fans start to cheer as Dutch talks**
JR: You are saying your group is doing what it does for the tradition of Memphis Wrestling?
DM: Look who is in our group. Listen to what they say. It has -always- been about Memphis wrestling and tradition.
**They leave as we head to commercial.**

BH: He had a point. As much as I hate the idea of being in Tennessee due to these hillbillies, Dutch is correct. The Memphis Mafia are being over looked and ignored and that isn’t a good thing. Those guys like The American Males and come in here and think they are better than Dutch, Bill Dundee, and the champ himself, Buddy Landel.
JR: Are you siding with Tennessee wrestlers?
BH: No, what? Who said that?
JR: Fans, it is time for the national television championship. “White lighting” Tim Horner after defending the title last night will defend it again. Let’s head to the ring for the action.

TH: Jim Ross, I want Bob Armstrong to come out here. I want him to come out now. I have something to say to him.
**”Bullet” Bob comes out**
BA: What can I do for you Tim?
TH: Bob, you know I have a deep respect for you right?
BA: Yes. I do, Tim and you know the respect is returned.
TH: Then why are you siding with Tracy Smothers in his attempt to take my interview time? Don’t deny it, I heard you last week talk about it. You two even walked away to talk about me. Why?
BA: Tim, it isn’t what you are thinking at all.
TH: It is -exactly- what I think. I heard it myself. Oh, now what the hell does he want?
**Tracy Smothers comes out. **
TS: Listen, Tim, you got this wrong man. No one is conspiring about you. No one is trying to take anything from you.
TH: Why are you even out here? I am talking to Bob, not you. I am talking to the father of my tag team partner in Brad. I am talking to the “Bullet”, not you.
TS: I am just trying to get you to understand how important it…
TH: IT IS NOT IMPORTANT TO ME!!!! I DON’T CARE ABOUT JEFF JARRETT AND I DON’T CARE ABOUT YOU!!!! ALL I CARE ABOUT IS THE NATIONAL TELEVISION CHAMPIONSHIP!!!!
**Horner leaves as Tracy gets angry. **
TS: You know what Bob, Tim…you pay attention too. You don’t care about people, your friends? You only care about that national tv title? Well, Bob…I want that shot at that title. Tim, I am going to show you who your friends are. I am going to show you what is important in life. By the grace of God, I am coming for that belt and will take it from you.
**Both Bob & Tracy leave as we head to commercial.**

JR: We are back and what we got out of that last interview, “Bullet” Bob is considering giving Tracy Smothers the TV title shot.
BH: Why? Who has he beat? Tim Horner is correct on this. He understands his goal is the TV title. That is his priority.
TR: You would sell your mother for a gold belt.
BH: Of course. Gold belts mean money and happiness.
JR: Fans, we are about to see a handicap match with “Big” Bubba taking on Rick Michaels & Mike Samples. And here comes Jim Cornette with his introduction.
JC: Ladies and gentlemen…I swore last week that the Rock N’ Roll Express will not win the Smoky Mountain tag team titles and they didn’t. Now you are going to see why no one is coming after my Heavenly Bodies. It is time for you to see the head of security do what he does best. It is time for “BIG” BUBBA ROGERS!!!!!

**Cornette comes out with Bubba & his Heavenly Bodies**
JC: JR…we made a promise last week and we stuck to it. Bubba showed Robert Gibson exactly what is what, exactly what will happen when you mess with Jim Cornette’s Heavenly Bodies. We showed you what happens when you screw over my guys. Now wait a minute….
**The Rock N’ Roll Express comes out**
RM: Jim Cornette…you sure made it so me and Robert wouldn’t win those Smoky Mountain tag team titles but what you didn’t do is kill the Rock N’ Roll Express. Now...you got Bubba here and he is big and bad. But big guy, you can be had.
BBR: Not by you.
RM: Maybe, maybe not. But here is what I am saying…Jimmy, let’s take your entire team here, the Heavenly Bodies and Bubba in a 6-man tag team match next week on TNN.
JC: Wait a minute…you two want to fight these three next week on TNN? Man, you got it. My Heavenly Bodies and head of security will tear you apart.
RM: We are going to have that 6-man tag team match?
JC: Oh yes. The Heavenly Bodies and head of security, Big Bubba taking on you two…yes. 100 times yes.
RM: Great. Oh. Jimmy…learn to count… 6 man tag team match…You three….
JC: Yeah
RM: Me and Robert…
JC: Yes, go on. 6-Man tag..
RM: Well Jimmy, that makes 5. **Cornette can be seen counting and he gets to five…he suddenly looks worried** Here is number 6…. **“Everyody Wants You” starts playing and out comes “Primetime” Brian Lee. ** See you next week, mama’s boy.
**Cornette is furious and protesting as the RNR’s and Lee head to the back. **

JR: It is time for the main event but before we get to that, it has been signed. Both Tracy Smothers getting his shot at Tim Horner’s television title, and the 6-man tag team match between the Heavenly Bodies, Big Bubba taking on The Rock N’ Roll Express and Brian Lee. Now.. speaking of Smothers, he gets a shot to upset one half of the world tag team champions, Dick Slater, in what will be a big match. Let’s go to the ring.

MAIN EVENT: Dick Slater def. “The Wild Eyed Southern Boy” Tracy Smothers. Slater wins due to interference from Tim Horner. Slater keeps referee Mark Curtis busy while the TV champion slides in the ring and waffles Smothers with the TV title before sliding out the other side so Slater can pin Smothers.

**Horner gets in the ring and stomps Smothers before climbing on him and delivering solid punches. Slater just puts his hands up and leaves the ring as he wants nothing to do with this. Mark Curtis tries to stop Tim but is thrown over the top rope to the floor for his effort. Horner takes a mic.**
TH: Hey Tracy….hey “wild eyed southern boy”…your name is now busted eye little punk. You think -anything- you do is more important than my belt? You think you are going to take my belt? Only thing you are taking is a butt whoopin’.
**He drops the mic and climbs back on with the solid punches on a very bloody Smothers. The Rock N’ Roll Express and the Armstrong brothers, Brad, Steve, & Scott, come out and pull Horner up. Horner goes to swing, sees his oldest friend Brad and stops. He leaves the ring as we fade away to officials checking on Smothers. **
