Bob: “Welcome back to Mid-South Wrestling fans, I’m Bob Caudle and it is my pleasure to once again be joined by the heart and soul of the Mid-South, Bill Watts!
Bill: “Thank you for that Bob, and this is the final week: the final week for the stars of Mid-South Wrestling to impress the UWF World Heavyweight Championship committee as we approach The Legacy, March 19 in Shreveport.
Bob: “A big hour of action here Bill as I cannot wait to see the exciting newcomer Booker T wrestle as well as the new tag team of Butch Reed and Gary Albright and the very impressive STUNNING STEVE AUSTIN, all in the ring, let’s go down there right now!

LARRY ZYBYSKO + BILLY JACK HAYNES def. TOM ZENK + ROB VAN DAM in a competitive 8:08 match where Van Dam makes some very impressive martial arts moves but at the end of the day it is Van Dam doing the honors.
Bob: “An impressive debut by Rob Van Dam, and I have a feeling things will go better for this young man in matches to come as he gains experience, meanwhile Zybysko and Haynes seem to have made a case for an opportunity to compete at The Legacy!

Terry: “Crispy Cruiser, do you realize how the landscape here in Mid-South is evolving? Look at all these amazing athletes. Ron Simmons, Stan Hansen, Steve Austin, Maniac Matt Bourne, all competing for a chance to be part of The Legacy! All I know is the 8 man tournament field will be announced next week right here on TV and I’m done begging, I am done asking. I think I have made my case the last several weeks to prove that as former NWA World Heavyweight Champion that I belong and deserve to be in Shreveport March 19. I love watching all the talent here in Mid-South Wrestling, old, in their prime, and the future and I want to be a part of it as long as these middle aged bones can keep going!

Chris: “He calls himself the World’s Most Reliable Pawnbroker, Tod Gordon along with his recruiter I guess you could say, Adnan al-Kassie, and the first jewel of the Diamond Mine, The Barbarian!
Tod: “That’s right Chris Cruise, and I want the UWF Championship Committee to take a close look at this jewel, a crown jewel, the Barbarian! Look at the size. Look at these arms. If this man is not part of The Legacy in Shreveport March 19 it’s a CRIME!
Chris: “I think they will be very impressed Tod Gordon, but I do have to ask the question, you promised a Diamond Mine with many of these ‘jewels'. With all due respect to Barbarian, a fine wrestler, is this the only wrestler this man Adnan al-Kaissey is going to bring you?
Kaissey: “Allaenat ealayk!
Tod: “Easy there, Adnan, you have aroused the anger of the mighty Barbarian! But Chris Cruise the answer is NO, I have been assured by this man, my FRIEND, Adanan al-Kaissie that he is in negotiations with some of the top talent in the world . . . . and as a matter of fact . . .. . the next Jewel in the Diamond Mine .. . .WILL BE REVEALED AT THE LEGACY March 19 in Shreveport!

Bob: “Fans, at this time lets go to these comments from Bill Watts!
“Thank you Bob. Over the past few weeks, I have spoken about, and looked askance at topics like ‘sports entertainment’, national promoters, so-called hardcore wrestling, flying wrestlers, wrestling schools and more.
“Some have suggested that old Bill Watts is just an out-of-touch, grouchy old man that is not willing to accept new ideas in wrestling. I hope most of the viewers here agree that is simply not true, but in case anyone thinks I am just being a Debbie downer, I want to talk about something that I think is a positive: the eight man tournament for the UWF World Heavyweight Championship at The Legacy, March 19 in Shreveport. Bob, no matter what style of wrestling you enjoy, I don’t think there is a lot of things that get the blood boiling than the prospect of a one and done tournament, let along one for a World title belt once held by Terry Gordy, Big Bubba Rogers, and Dr. Death Steve Williams.
“I am excited to meet with the Championship Committee to learn the matchups later this week, and to report them on the air on the next edition of Mid-South Wrestling. Even more exciting has been to hear these wrestlers, the best talent in the world, to speak with Chris Cruise or tape comments pleading their case to part of this tournament, then back their words in the ring right here on television.
"It shows that nothing makes these wrestlers blood boil too, then the chance to wrestle and walk out of an arena the World Champion. Even a former World champion like Terry Funk has felt it necessary to not rest on his laurels, but to wrestle wright here on TV and make several pleas to be part of this tournament. A wily veteran like Terry knows nothing in wrestling is given, or granted.

Tom: “DARN we fell short this week, Rob but what an opportunity!
Rob: “First of all I want to thank Mid-South Wrestling for giving us these big matches, I know the odds are against us for next week, but Tom Zenk let’s get our heads straight, put together a game plan, and let’s see if we can’t come out and hit Hansen and Severn right on the nose first thing next week, and let’s see what happens!

But I also kick, punch, eye poke and I DO have a set of holds that can hurt a man on the mat! So before anyone dismisses the Love Machine as some sort of flying squirrel, go ahead and make that mistake: it’ll come back to smack you in the face!

Bill: “I’m really looking forward to seeing how those two youngsters Tom Zenk and Rob Van Dam recover from their loss today to wrestle the very very tough Stan Hansen and Dan Severn next week, and well, heh heh, I guess you have to have some fun with wrestling now and then, the lovable Bushwhackers certainly bring that!
