That would be a main Event anywhere in the world! We also had two title changes at our WINTER WARFARE PPV! The new World Tag Team Champions BADD Company is here! The new TV Champion Kevin Von Erich will be here and he will be in a tag team macth with his brother, “Modern Day Warrior” Kerry Von Erich! We also will see newcomer Scotty The Body, Mexican superstar Chavo Guerrero, and a new feature that you’re starting this week…
THATCHER: It’s called Personality Profile and I’ll be giving the fans a in depth look at some of the greatest wrestlers in the world! Right now, Boni Blackstone is standing by with our UWA President, Cowboy Bill Watts!
BONI: That’s right, the big Cowboy is here! What’s on your mind, Mr. President?
WATTS: I have been looking at the records of the UWA. I have noted that currently, only three manager’s licenses have been issued. They have been granted to Missy Hyatt, Downtown Bruno, and Oliver Humperdink. I’ve noticed a rather alarming trend where wrestling matches devolve from athletic contests to gang warfare. Effective immediately, a wrestler or tag team can only be seconded by a person with a valid and current manager’s license! Any person violating this rule will be subjected to a fine!
BONI: I think that’s a good ruling!
WATTS: Onto a more pleasant subject: Recently, a UWA camera crew accompanied me to Ponce, Puerto Rico, where I had a very important meeting in the office of a good friend of mine, Victor Jovica. Let’s watch the video…

WATTS: Hello, wrestling fans, I’m here in Puerto Rico. One of the rising stars of our great sport has been down here on a Puerto Rican tour. I am excited to say that we have agreed to terms and he is here to sign a contract to wrestle exclusively for the the UWA! Ladies and gentlemen, this is Scott Hall!
Scott enters the picture and shakes Watts’ hand. He sits at the table, looks at the contract and signs it.
HALL: I am really excited about this! The best competition in the world is in the UWA! I know that on the next episode of UWA FURY, there will be an Undisputed World Title match. I am challenging the winner of that match!

Williams high fives all the guys and kisses Missy on the cheek before taking his seat.

In ring footage of Jumbo Tsuruta from Japan is shown as the music plays…
THATCHER:(v/o)Jumbo Tsuruta is one of the greatest athletes to ever come out of the nation of Japan. He is in his 16th year as a pro. Before turning pro, he represented his native land in the 1972 Olympics(still photos of Jumbo in an Olympic warmup suit) Not only was he a great athlete, but a brilliant scholar as well, earning a degree in Political Science from Chuo University. He was trained for professional wrestling by the great Funk family in Amarillo, Texas(black and white home movie footage of Tsuruta and the Funks sparring) He has held championships throughout the world.
As Thatcher names off moves, we see Jumbo executing them.
THATCHER: Jumbo has a myriad of ways to defeat an opponent his most effective moves include the jumping knee, the Thesz press, the belly to back suplex, and a wide variety of other suplexes. While best known as a scientific wrestler, he can slug it out if the situation calls for it.

THATCHER: Jumbo Tsurta has signed to compete exclusively in the US for the UWA! He will make his UWA FURY debut here on TV next week!

MAGNUM: Les, in 1985, I toured Japan and wrestled Jumbo in Tokyo. The match lasted an hour and it was probably the toughest of my career. The fans will see a great one, starting next week! Who will you profile next week?

KERRY & KEVIN VON ERICH VS. BRAD & BART BATTEN: The Battens wrestle as complete heels here, using illegal switches constantly. It doesn’t bother the Von Erich boys much as they dominate the action. Kerry pins Bart with the Iron Claw and the fans give their hometwon heroes a standing O.
BONI: I’m here with Kerry and Kevin Von Erich! Kevin, you said you might not be alone at WINTER WARFARE. You certainly weren’t. You showed up with your cousin and your brother, the Modern Day Warrior!
KEVIN: There used to be a song called “Reunited and it feels so good”! Maybe we should have played that tonight! The Von Erichs are back, baby and I notice the Freebirds found someplace else to be all of a sudden!
KERRY: I hear Badstreet is nice this time of year! Maybe that’s where they went! We’re doing really good! You see, Kevin beat Hayes for the TV Title! I’m challenging the winner of the World title match tonight! BADD Company named off a laundry list of teams they would defend their title against. I noticed the Von Erichs weren’t on the list! (laughs) That kind of hurt my feelings, guys!
KEVIN: The Von Erichs are here and we’re ready for anything! There are three main single titles
in the UWA and three Von Erichs! Plenty for the whole family! And, yeah, those tag titles are real interesting, too!

The camera pulls back to reveal Junkyard Dog is there beside Handsome Jimmy!
JYD: AHWOOOOOOOOO!
VALIANT: Have mercy, baby, this is what it’s all about, baby! Me and the Dawg! This man is a brother! At Winter Warfare, I gave the so called “Crippler” the ride of his life!
JYD: Ya sent him to the pound, Boogie man! He’s a had lad!
VALIANT: Yeah, but that no good Humperdink is still around, JYD! He’s got Studd, that big ugly stooge, and he’s got them Moondogs!
JYD: There’s only room for one dog! GRRRRRR! And that’s me, the Junkyard Dog!
VALIANT: I saw that Michael Rotunda is trying to start a gang or something! Listen, Mike, I grew up fighting on the streets of New York City, baby! I know all about gang warfare! You are a college boy! Ain’t nothin wrong with college! I’d have went to college if it hadn’t been for high school! But nobody can git down and git it on like JYD and Boogie Man! And we got another brother on our side! Next week, here on worldwide cable TV, we have a six man tag team match with our brother, Tito Santana, on our side!

CHAVO GUERRERO VS. GEORGE SOUTH: Dean Malenko joins Les and Magnum on commentary. Chavo starts off with high flying moves and Malenko says he’s more of a gymnast than a real wrestler. Almost like he’s making a rebuttal to Malenko, Chavo gets the win via submission to the Gory Special. Les says the comepetition in the Junior Heavyweight ranks is heating up. Malenko says he is still first in line for a title match with Chris Adams!

It’s time for the World Title match. Michael Rotundo enters the ring with Missy at his side. They wait for the Champion.
The song plays almost all the way through and Terry Funk doesn’t appear!
THATCHER: We have a camera in the dressing room area and they’re telling me we need to go there!
We cut to backstage and we see Terry Funk lying on the floor! Don Muraco, Rick martel, & Steve Williams are putting the boots to the champ! Cowboy Bill Watts, Dory Funk, Jr., and the Von Erichs run out and chase the heels away! The faces help Terry up and he’s a bloody mess!
THATCHER: We’d better go to a break!

Rotunda , Hyatt, and Cowboy Bill Watts are in the ring.
WATTS: A few announcements. First, I’m postponing this title match indefinitely. I’m not rewarding bad behavior!
Rotunda is livid!
WATTS: It gets worse, Mike! I’m fining you and your Organization $10,000.00 for that little stunt you pulled!
MISSY: That might be a big deal to you and these rednecks out here, but that’s chump change to people like us!
Missy reaches into her Gucci bag,pulls out a checkbook and a pen, writes a check and sticks it in Watts’ shirt pocket!
Suddenly, there’s a roar from the crowd! Terry Funk is walking slowly down the aisle, Spirit of ‘76 style with a blood soaked bandage around his forehead! He enters the ring and grabs the mic!
FUNK: Bill, the man who raised my brother and me said that when you sign a contract, you make the town and wrestle the match, period! That’s the way it’s gonna be! I’ve never backed out of a match in the state of Texas in my life! I didn’t back out when it was Fritz Von Erich or Johnny Valentine, or Wahoo McDaniel! There’s no way I’m backing out with this punk!
UNDISPUTED WORLD TITLE MATCH: “THE LEGEND’ TERRY FUNK © VS. “MEGABUCKS” MICHAEL ROTUNDA(W/MISSY HYATT): Funk throws the title belt in Rotunda’s face and proceeds to beat him from pillar to post! The arrogant challenger doesn’t seem to know what hit him! Funk has it going his way and after a few minutes, applies the spinning toehold! Rotunda kicks Funk off of him and sends him out of the ring! Rotunda follows Funk out of the ring and slams the champion’s head into two of the ringposts! Rotundo drags Funk back into the ring as Missy cheers wildly! Rotunda hits two deep double underhook suplexes and then locks in the STF! Funk is glassy eyed and appears defenseless! Watts, still at ringside, is slapping the mat and yelling at referee David Manning to stop the match!
David complies and it’s all over! “MEGABUCKS” MICHAEL ROTUNDO IS THE NEW UNDISPUTED HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION OF THE WORLD! MISSY CLIMBS INTO THE RING AND GIVES THE NEW CHAMPION A HUGE KISS!!! The other members of the Organization enter the ring and lift the new champion onto their shoulders! Rotundo responds with a smug, self satisfied smile! What a jerk!

BONI: I’m here with Kerry and Kevin Von Erich! Kevin, you said you might not be alone at WINTER WARFARE. You certainly weren’t. You showed up with your cousin and your brother, the Modern Day Warrior!
KEVIN: There used to be a song called “Reunited and it feels so good”! Maybe we should have played that tonight! The Von Erichs are back, baby and I notice the Freebirds found someplace else to be all of a sudden!
KERRY: I hear Badstreet is nice this time of year! Maybe that’s where they went! We’re doing really good! You see, Kevin beat Hayes for the TV Title! I’m challenging the winner of the World title match tonight! BADD Company named off a laundry list of teams they would defend their title against. I noticed the Von Erichs weren’t on the list! (laughs) That kind of hurt my feelings, guys!
KEVIN: The Von Erichs are here and we’re ready for anything! There are three main single titles
in the UWA and three Von Erichs! Plenty for the whole family! And, yeah, those tag titles are real interesting, too!
BONI: The very ambitious Von Erich brothers!

BONI: Welcome back to UWA FURY! Jimmy Valiant, “The Boogie Woogie Man” is here with me and he has company!
VALIANT: (singing) I was standing on the corner when I heard my bulldog bark!
The camera pulls back to reveal Junkyard Dog is there beside Handsome Jimmy!
JYD: AHWOOOOOOOOO!
VALIANT: Have mercy, baby, this is what it’s all about, baby! Me and the Dawg! This man is a brother! At Winter Warfare, I gave the so called “Crippler” the ride of his life!
JYD: Ya sent him to the pound, Boogie man! He’s a had lad!
VALIANT: Yeah, but that no good Humperdink is still around, JYD! He’s got Studd, that big ugly stooge, and he’s got them Moondogs!
JYD: There’s only room for one dog! GRRRRRR! And that’s me, the Junkyard Dog!
VALIANT: I saw that Michael Rotunda is trying to start a gang or something! Listen, Mike, I grew up fighting on the streets of New York City, baby! I know all about gang warfare! You are a college boy! Ain’t nothin wrong with college! I’d have went to college if it hadn’t been for high school! But nobody can git down and git it on like JYD and Boogie Man! And we got another brother on our side! Next week, here on worldwide cable TV, we have a six man tag team match with our brother, Tito Santana, on our side!
JYD: Don’t miss it! Don’t you dare miss it!

CHAVO GUERRERO VS. GEORGE SOUTH: Dean Malenko joins Les and Magnum on commentary. Chavo starts off with high flying moves and Malenko says he’s more of a gymnast than a real wrestler. Almost like he’s making a rebuttal to Malenko, Chavo gets the win via submission to the Gory Special. Les says the comepetition in the Junior Heavyweight ranks is heating up. Malenko says he is still first in line for a title match with Chris Adams!

It’s time for the World Title match. Michael Rotundo enters the ring with Missy at his side. They wait for the Champion.
The song plays almost all the way through and Terry Funk doesn’t appear!
THATCHER: We have a camera in the dressing room area and they’re telling me we need to go there!
We cut to backstage and we see Terry Funk lying on the floor! Don Muraco, Rick martel, & Steve Williams are putting the boots to the champ! Cowboy Bill Watts, Dory Funk, Jr., and the Von Erichs run out and chase the heels away! The faces help Terry up and he’s a bloody mess!
THATCHER: We’d better go to a break!
COMMERCIAL
Rotunda , Hyatt, and Cowboy Bill Watts are in the ring.
WATTS: A few announcements. First, I’m postponing this title match indefinitely. I’m not rewarding bad behavior!
Rotunda is livid!
WATTS: It gets worse, Mike! I’m fining you and your Organization $10,000.00 for that little stunt you pulled!
MISSY: That might be a big deal to you and these rednecks out here, but that’s chump change to people like us!
Missy reaches into her Gucci bag,pulls out a checkbook and a pen, writes a check and sticks it in Watts’ shirt pocket!
Suddenly, there’s a roar from the crowd! Terry Funk is walking slowly down the aisle, Spirit of ‘76 style with a blood soaked bandage around his forehead! He enters the ring and grabs the mic!
FUNK: Bill, the man who raised my brother and me said that when you sign a contract, you make the town and wrestle the match, period! That’s the way it’s gonna be! I’ve never backed out of a match in the state of Texas in my life! I didn’t back out when it was Fritz Von Erich or Johnny Valentine, or Wahoo McDaniel! There’s no way I’m backing out with this punk!
UNDISPUTED WORLD TITLE MATCH: “THE LEGEND’ TERRY FUNK © VS. “MEGABUCKS” MICHAEL ROTUNDA(W/MISSY HYATT): Funk throws the title belt in Rotunda’s face and proceeds to beat him from pillar to post! The arrogant challenger doesn’t seem to know what hit him! Funk has it going his way and after a few minutes, applies the spinning toehold! Rotunda kicks Funk off of him and sends him out of the ring! Rotunda follows Funk out of the ring and slams the champion’s head into two of the ringposts! Rotundo drags Funk back into the ring as Missy cheers wildly! Rotunda hits two deep double underhook suplexes and then locks in the STF! Funk is glassy eyed and appears defenseless! Watts, still at ringside, is slapping the mat and yelling at referee David Manning to stop the match!
David complies and it’s all over! “MEGABUCKS” MICHAEL ROTUNDO IS THE NEW UNDISPUTED HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION OF THE WORLD! MISSY CLIMBS INTO THE RING AND GIVES THE NEW CHAMPION A HUGE KISS!!! The other members of the Organization enter the ring and lift the new champion onto their shoulders! Rotundo responds with a smug, self satisfied smile! What a jerk!
