Lowrance, “We are one week away from the ‘Kerry Von Erich Memorial’ show at Tarrant County. We have another great show for you tonight. We will talk about the show, and we have an exciting main event, Johnny Mantell meets ‘Hollywood’ John Tatum. Let’s go to Doyle King.”
Match #1
Chaz vs. Alex Porteau
Chaz debuts. He is young, and athletic. The young ladies like him. “The Pug” will be a good test. Chaz is very quick, and Porteau is frustrated. He tries to rough up Chaz, but it doesn’t work. Chaz uses a sunset flip for the win.
Winner- Chaz
Match #2
Tribal Nation vs. The Assassins
The Native Americans take on the mysterious masked men. Nocona starts with Assassin #1. The masked man tries all the illegal moves. Nocona responds with chops, the masked man tags in his partner. #2 gets in a few good shots, but Brave Sky tags in and wins with the Indian deathlock.
Winners- Tribal Nation

Lowrance, “Saturday night, March 4, is fast approaching. There have been so many memorable nights at the Civic Center. This Saturday may be the biggest night in Worth wrestling history. The GWF will present the ‘Kerry Von Erich Memorial’ show. The wrestling world lost a great one earlier this month, and we will honor him on Saturday night. Here is what we will see.
In a match just added, Johnny Mantell will be in action.
‘Maniac’ Mike Davis takes on Steven Dane
The Simpson Brothers meet ‘Outlaw’ Joel Deaton and Billy Black
The Patriot meets Black Bart
Iceman King Parsons takes on the Super Destroyer
‘Gentleman’ Chris Adams battles ‘Hollywood’ John Tatum
For the Global Jr. Heavyweight Championship, ‘Hurricane’ Mike Dahl defends against Manny Villalobos
The Global Tag Team Titles are on the line as the Champions, Bobby Duncum Jr. and Big John Hawk take n Tribal Nation
In our main event, the one we have been waiting for, Kevin Von Erich challenges the North American Champion ‘The California Stud’ Rod Price. The Von Erich family has had many historic nights, and Kevin hopes this will be another one. Let’s hear from the challenger.”
We see Kevin Von Erich in an interview area.
Kevin, “I’ve been in this business for a long time, but March 4 is the biggest night of my career. I’m doing this Kerry. Rod Price is a great wrestler, but he won’t beat me.”
Match #3
Billy Black w/Buddy Roberts vs. Calvin Knapp
The high flying Black meets the game Knapp. Calvin wrestles very well. He frustrates Black and Buddy Roberts. Buddy calls Black to the floor. They confer and Billy returns to the ring. He roughs up Knapp and uses the moonsault for the win.
Winner- Billy Black
Craig Johnson is with the “California Stud” Rod Price.
Johnson, “With me is Rod Price, the North American Champion. Mr. Price, you meet Kevin Von Erich at Tarrant County. Many experts think Kevin will leave Ft. Worth as the Champion.”
Price, “Then many people are wrong. ‘The California Stud’ is the hottest thing in wrestling today. Von Erich is washed up, he’s yesterday’s news. He can’t beat me.”
Johnson, “He will have the home field advantage at Tarrant County.”
Price, “So what? I don’t need all those inbred Texans on my side. I’m from California, we don’t give Texas the time of day!”
Johnson, “The Champion is very confident.”
Match #4
Non-Title Match
“California Stud” Rod Price (North American Champion) vs. Joe Gomez
The Champion meets the “Desperado”. Gomez is talented, but Price is riding high, and will be tough to beat. The match is very hard hitting. Gomez holds his own, but Price’s strength takes over. He locks on the bear hug, and Gomez submits.
Winner- Rod Price
Doyle King is with Johnny Mantell.
King, “With me is Johnny Mantell. Johnny, you have returned to Texas, and the competition is very tough.”
Mantell, “You got that right Doyle. Texas has always had great wrestling, and this might be the best I’ve ever seen. I’m not backing down from anything, and Tatum is going to learn that tonight.”
King, “Johnny Mantell vs. John Tatum is our main event.”
Match #5
Johnny Mantell vs. “Hollywood” John Tatum
Tatum struts around the ring. The Cowboy from Wise, TX is not impressed. They lock up and we are under way. Tatum grabs a side headlock, but Tatum shoots him into the ropes, and drops him with a shoulder tackle. Tatum puts the boots to Johnny. Mantell gets to his feet and goes after Tatum. The match goes back and forth until Mantell wins with a bulldog.
Winner- Johnny Mantell
Marc Lowrance closes the show.
Lowrance, “Another great night of Texas wrestling. The ‘Kerry Von Erich Memorial’ show is next Saturday, a few seats are still available. We will be preempted next week, but join us in two weeks for all the fallout from Tarrant County.”
