THATCHER: Our first match would be a main event in almost any arena! Let’s get started!
Rip Oliver and Oliver Humperdink enter side by side. Behind them, Rip’s Carryout Service push a gurney to the ring. After “the Crippler enters the ring, we hear…
The Boogie Woogie Man boogies to the ring, high fiving and kissing fans along the way!
STRETCHER MATCH: RIP “THE CRIPPLER” OLIVER VS. “BOOGIE WOOGIE MAN” JIMMY VALIANT: Oliver gains an early advantage by using a foreign object that he and SOH pas back and forth and keep out of referee Tommy Gilbert’s sight. Valiant counters by pulling out a chain and blasting Oliver with it! After 9:45 of brawling, Jimmy catches the Crippler in a sleeperhold and puts him out with it! The Boogie Man dumps the unconscious Oliver onto the gurney and pushes him out of the arena! Valiant wins the stretcher match! Afterwards, we go to Boni Blackstone on a locker room set…
BONI: I’m here with UWA President Cowboy Bill Watts! Sir, you have been on a talent search to bring some of the greates wrestlers in the entire world to the UWA!
WATTS: That’s certainly true, Boni! And I have just signed one of the biggest names in professional wrestling to an exclusive contract! Let’s hear from him right now!

JYD: I got a phone call from my Boogie Woogie soul brother, Handsome Jimmy Valiant! He said, “Dawg, the UWA is where it’s at, daddy!” So, I called my old buddy, Cowboy Bill Watts and I told him the Dog was searchin for a new yard! It don’t matter if it’s Big John Studd, Iron Sheik, Bad News Brown, or them lowdown Freebirds! Just give the Dog a bone he can chew on!
WATTS: JYD is in the UWA and I think he’s ready for anything!
BONI: I can’t wait to see him in action! Speaking of action, let’s go back to the ring!
PERRO AGUAYO VS. MIL MASCARAS: A match between two individuals, each of whom claim to be the #1 wrestler in Mexico! Perro attempts to make this a brawl wheras the masked man wants a scientific match. Mil prevails, pinning Aguayo with a high cross body in 8:12. afterwards, Chavo Guerrero, who the announcers pointed out in the audience, enters the ring and raises Mil’s hand in victory!
Downtown Bruno leads his men to the ring- the massive Kokina followed by Jack Victory & Jon Tatum, the Hollywood Heartbreakers! Then, the music plays…
Veteran Blackjack Mulligan comes out, flanked by his son Kendall and Dustin Rhodes, the Texas Broncos!!!
THE HOLLYWOOD HEARTBREAKERS & THE GREAT KOKINA(W/DOWNTOWN BRUNO) VS. THE TEXAS BRONCOS & BLACKJACK MULLIGAN: An absolute wild and wooly brawl! The heels get heat on Kendall for several minutes, isolating him on their side of the ring and beating him from pillar to post!Eventually, Dustin and Blackjack can’t stand to watch anymore and we have a pier sixer on our hands! Finally, Blackjack gets the claw on Victory and pins him at the 10:11 mark!
Before our next match, Big John Studd and Oliver Humperdink stroll down the ramp to the ring. They are followed by the Moondogs, Boris Zhukov, Bad News Brown, and Bobby Jaggers, all of whom carry leather straps! Studd’s five lumberjacks take positions around the ring.
Here comes Yukon John Nord! He isn’t wearing the neck brace and looks ready for anything! He is followed by his strap wielding lumberjacks: Jimmy Valiant, Soul Train Jones, Butch Reed, Sgt. Slaughter, and Ranger Ross!
CANADIAN LUMBERJACK MATCH: YUKON JOHN NORD VS. BIG JOHN STUDD(W/SIR OLIVER HUMPERDINK): All we have here is two men beating the stew out of each other! The lumberjacks do a good job of keeping the wrestlers in and everybody else out. The turning point comes when Nord hits Studd with a big boot to the face! NORD BODYSLAMS STUDD! Nord covers and gets the 1-2-3! Humperdink can’t believe it! He’s pitching a fit! Yukon John has defeated the giantlike John Studd! The fans go crazy!

By this point, the “USA” chant is deafening…
ELIMINATION TAG TEAM MATCH: SGT. SLAUGHTER, RANGER ROSS, & HACKSAW BUTCH REED VS. IRON SHEIK, NIKOLAI VOLKOFF, & BORIS ZHUKOV:
1. Nikolai Volkoff pins Ranger Ross in 7:13 after an over the knee backbreaker.
2. Sgt. Slaughter pins Boris Zhukov in 9:27 after a Slaughter Cannon off the top rope.
3. Iron Sheik pins Butch Reed in 13:22 after Volkoff nailed Hacksaw in the back with a flag pole while referee Carl Fergie was down.
4. Slaughter pinned Volkoff with an inside cradle in 14:57.
5. Slaughter pinned Sheik after a clothesline in 18:12.

UWA WORLD JUNIOR HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE MATCH: BRITISH RULES(10 FIVE MINUTE ROUNDS, 2 FALLS OR A KNOCKOUT TO WIN):

ROUND ONE: The two competitors basically feel each other out. Toward the end of the fall, there are a few near falls.
ROUND TWO: Malenko starts to use some subtle heel tactics. This doesn’t help much as Adams outmanuvers the challenger and seems to be taking control.
ROUND THREE: Malenko goes to work on Adams’ legs. Magnum TA speculates that he might be trying to take away the superkick.
ROUND FOUR: Malenko continues working the leg. It’s having the desired effect for Malenko as Adams is limping badly by the end of the round.
ROUND FIVE: Adams seems fired up and makes a comeback in this round! Just when it lookslike it’s going to go the champion’s way,Adams misses a dropkick. Malenko locks in the Texas Cloverleaf and gets a submission! Suddenly, the challenger is up 1 fall!
Between rounds, Adams attempts to walk off the damage to his leg…
ROUND SIX: Adams goes on the defensive, trying desperately to protect his legs. He locks in the sleeper, but Malenko gets to the ropes at the end of the round…
ROUND SEVEN: Adams manages to even it up at a fall apiece as he pins Malenko with a backslide during this fall. Chris is still favoring the leg, however.
ROUND EIGHT: Adams takes control of this action and he looks like he’s on his way to victory as he goes for the superkick! Unfortunately, Malenko pulls referee Tommy Gilbert in front of himself and the kick knock both referee and challenger out of the ring! Malenko’s head hits the concrete, plus Gilbert is on top of him! Malenko is down for the count and finally referee Scott LeDoux comes out and counts the challenger out! That’s considered a knockout under these rules, so Chris Adams retains his belt!
Sir Oliver Humperdink comes to the ring with his Moondogs on leashes! What a crazy scene!
The music plays and the fog machines and laser lights signal the entrance of the challengers! Paul Diamond & Pat Tanaka enter Reunion Arena and they are not alone…

Bobby and Tommy enter the ring to a standing O! They high five BADD Company. SOH waves them off and they don’t even bother with Spot & Rex!
UWA WORLD TAG TEAM TITLE MATCH: THE MOONDOGS© (W/SIR OLIVER HUMPERDINK) VS. BADD COMPANY: For most of the match, the ‘dogs isolate Pat Tanaka and get tons of heat on him. Pat finally makes the hot tag and Diamond cleans house for a few minutes, but then he gets caught with a knee to the abdomen by Rex and tossed to the floor! Spot nails Diamond with a bone and drives him facefirst into the ring post! SOH rolls Diamond back into the ring where Spike covers him...one...TWO….KICKOUT!!! Humperdink is already having a bad night and this nearly drives him over the edge!When Diamond starts a comeback, SOH goes apopleptic at ringside! Spot and Rex start double teaming Diamond and Tanaka tries to puts a stop to it, but referee Scott LeDoux cuts the Sensei off. The Dogs hold Diamond in place as Humperdink climbs on the spron and pulls something out of his pocket! It’s a bag of powder! Humperdink throws the powder at Diamond, but he moves! The powder hits Spot in the eyes! Spot is groping blindly around the rin! Just as the ref turns away from Tanaka, Diamond hits an enzuguri on Spot! Cover! ONE….TWO….THREEEEEEE!!!!!
BADD COMPANY HAS WON THE WORLD TAG TEAM TITLES!!! The Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders, The Texas Broncos, and Fantastics run in to congratulate the new champs!!!
AMERICAN TITLE MATCH: “MEGABUCKS” MICHAEL ROTUNDA© (W/MISSY HYATT) VS. TITO SANTANA (W/BABY DOLL) : With Baby Doll basically neutralizing Missy, this is a fair and evenly fought matchup. There are several near falls for both men, but neither wrestler gets the duke. It looks like we’ll have a new champion when Tito hits the flying forearm and covers Rotunda, but Missy puts her man’s foot on the bottom rope at the two count! This leads to baby Doll attack Missy and wiping the floor with her! Tito cheers baby Doll on and Rotunda takes the opportunity to roll Tito up from behind, grab a big ol’ handfull of tights and get the 1-2-3! Rotunda retains the American Title here tonight!
The UWA TV Champion comes out with his Freebird brothers by his side!
The music changes and here comes the challenger! True to his word, he didn’t come alone!
LANCE AND KERRY ARE HERE WITH KEVIN VON ERICH!!!
UWA TV TITLE MATCH: MICHAEL HAYES © (W/BUDDY ROBERTS & TERRY GORDY) VS. KEVIN VON ERICH(W/LANCE VON ERICH & KERRY VON ERICH): With the history here, it’s only a matter of time before a fight breaks out! After 12minutes of action, mostly dominated by Kevin, Kerry and Lance are slugging it out with Gordy and Roberts at ringside while Kev and Hayes are going at it inside the ring! Kevin hits a victory roll in 13:04 to win the match and the TV Title!!!
KEVIN VON ERICH IS YOUR NEW TV CHAMPION!!!
The high flyer celebrates with his brother, cousin, and hometown fans!!!
And now, it’s time for the MAIN EVENT!!!
Surrounded by men in riot gear, the challenger enters, wearing his helmet. He stops at the end of the ramp, removes the helmet, and the smoke pours out of it! He enters the ring and paces like a caged animal!
The music changes for the champion’s entrance. Terry Funk enters on horseback and the fans stand and applaud with everything they’ve got!
TEXAS DEATH MATCH FOR THE UNDISPUTED UWA WORLD TITLE: “THE LEGEND” TERRY FUNK © VS. BIG VAN VADER:
FIRST FALL: Vader uses his superior size and power to beat the champ from pillar to post! Funk valiantly attempts to battle back, but is pinned at 6:57 after a corner splash.
After the rest period, Funk is on his feet by three. He toes the line and we’re ready to go on!
SECOND FALL: Funk seems to have recovered from the first fall as he goes after Vader’s leg. Funk manages to apply the spinning toehold, but Vader kicks him off and into the corner! Vader gets up, traps Funk against the turnbuckles and starts slugging away! Many times in the UWA, the referee has stopped the match due to one of these beatings, but amazingly, Funk is able to fight his way out of it! Vader attempts to do another corner splash, but Funk gets out of his way, schoolboy trips Vader and amazingly, gets the 1-2-3 in 13:37!
Vader has no problem getting to his feet and it looks like he’s good and mad!
THIRD FALL: Vader absolutely demolishes the champ! Funk bumps for the big man like he’s Superman! Vader hits a vicious German suplex and gets the pin at the 18:11 mark! That looked way too easy!
Funk struggles to his feet during the rest period and beats the ten count, but it ain’t looking good, sports fans!
FOURTH FALL: Vader continues to batter the champ and the commentary team expresses concern for Terry’s well being! After several near falls, Vader appears frustrated. Vader drags Funk out of the ring and pulls him up onto a table! Vader attempts to powerbomb Funk through the table! Somehow, Funk manages to backdrop the massive Vader through the table! Both men are down! Funk manages to crawl back into the ring! Referee Scott LeDoux has counted both men out of the ring! At ringside, Bill Watts gets on the mic and orders the ref to count to ten… first man up is the winner!

Funk grabs the middle rope and starts to attempt to pull himself up! Vader is on his hands and knees on the floor!

Vader gets to his feet for a half second, but collapses to the floor!
FUNK makes one last effort and pulls himself to a vertical base!
TERRY FUNK WINS!!! THE DALLAS CROWD GOES WILD!!!Dory Funk, Jr. enters the ring and the brothers embrace!

There are several near falls for both men, but neither wrestler gets the duke. It looks like we’ll have a new champion when Tito hits the flying forearm and covers Rotunda, but Missy puts her man’s foot on the bottom rope at the two count! This leads to baby Doll attack Missy and wiping the floor with her! Tito cheers baby Doll on and Rotunda takes the opportunity to roll Tito up from behind, grab a big ol’ handfull of tights and get the 1-2-3! Rotunda retains the American Title here tonight!

After 12minutes of action, mostly dominated by Kevin, Kerry and Lance are slugging it out with Gordy and Roberts at ringside while Kev and Hayes are going at it inside the ring! Kevin hits a victory roll in 13:04 to win the match and the TV Title!!!

Surrounded by men in riot gear, the challenger enters, wearing his helmet. He stops at the end of the ramp, removes the helmet, and the smoke pours out of it! He enters the ring and paces like a caged animal!
The music changes for the champion’s entrance. Terry Funk enters on horseback and the fans stand and applaud with everything they’ve got!
TEXAS DEATH MATCH FOR THE UNDISPUTED UWA WORLD TITLE: “THE LEGEND” TERRY FUNK © VS. BIG VAN VADER:
FIRST FALL: Vader uses his superior size and power to beat the champ from pillar to post! Funk valiantly attempts to battle back, but is pinned at 6:57 after a corner splash.
After the rest period, Funk is on his feet by three. He toes the line and we’re ready to go on!
SECOND FALL: Funk seems to have recovered from the first fall as he goes after Vader’s leg. Funk manages to apply the spinning toehold, but Vader kicks him off and into the corner! Vader gets up, traps Funk against the turnbuckles and starts slugging away! Many times in the UWA, the referee has stopped the match due to one of these beatings, but amazingly, Funk is able to fight his way out of it! Vader attempts to do another corner splash, but Funk gets out of his way, schoolboy trips Vader and amazingly, gets the 1-2-3 in 13:37!
Vader has no problem getting to his feet and it looks like he’s good and mad!
THIRD FALL: Vader absolutely demolishes the champ! Funk bumps for the big man like he’s Superman! Vader hits a vicious German suplex and gets the pin at the 18:11 mark! That looked way too easy!
Funk struggles to his feet during the rest period and beats the ten count, but it ain’t looking good, sports fans!
FOURTH FALL: Vader continues to batter the champ and the commentary team expresses concern for Terry’s well being! After several near falls, Vader appears frustrated. Vader drags Funk out of the ring and pulls him up onto a table! Vader attempts to powerbomb Funk through the table! Somehow, Funk manages to backdrop the massive Vader through the table! Both men are down! Funk manages to crawl back into the ring! Referee Scott LeDoux has counted both men out of the ring! At ringside, Bill Watts gets on the mic and orders the ref to count to ten… first man up is the winner!

Funk grabs the middle rope and starts to attempt to pull himself up! Vader is on his hands and knees on the floor!

FUNK pulls himself up onto one knee! Vader grabs the ring skirt and gets to his knees!

Vader gets to his feet for a half second, but collapses to the floor!
FUNK makes one last effort and pulls himself to a vertical base!
TERRY FUNK WINS!!! THE DALLAS CROWD GOES WILD!!!Dory Funk, Jr. enters the ring and the brothers embrace!
