AWA Championship Wrestling TV taping 2-17-93 Friday from The Showboat Sports Pavilion in Las Vegas, NV.
Today's episode kicks off from The Showboat Sports Pavilion in Las Vegas, Nevada, with the AWA banner superimposed over a shot of the Showboat. We join announcers Nick Bockwinkel & Lee Marshall at the announcer's desk for anther exciting hour of AWA Championship.Wrestling. Lee says the one-night tournaments are over and we have four AWA World Champions. Nick says that Hulk Hogan is the World's Heavyweight Champion, Woman's Diamond Inc. tag team of Ted Dibiase & Mike Rotoundo are the Tag Team Champions, Eddie Guerrero is the Junior Heavyweight Champion & Sue Sexton is the Women's Champion.
Marshall follows up with the new signing of another superstar to the AWA-- Greg 'the Hammer' Valentine. Bockwinkel adds that Valentine has a history with both Hulk Hogan & Roddy Piper.
Interviewer Gene Okerlund tells the fans they can see the AWA this weekend at the following cities.
