Monsoon, “Jess, ‘Spring Stampede’ is fast approaching! We'll have more information on the ‘Texas Shootout’, and we have another big match to announce!”
Ventura, “That ‘Texas Shootout’ could be a very dangerous match, and you forgot the biggest news, Kamala is going to end Hogan’s career!”
Monsoon, “Highly unlikely Jess. We also have an exciting main event tonight. General Skandor Akbar’s team, the Commandos, take on the Rougeau Brothers. Let’s go to Howard Finkel.”
Match #1
The Earthquake w/The Genius vs. Spike Huber
The massive Earthquake has been very impressive. Huber is very strong, but he gives up a lot of size. The Earthquake moves very well for his size. Spike is very game, but Earthquake is too much. He uses the senton for the win.
Winner- The Earthquake
Match #2
Lex Luger w/Bobby “The Brain” Heenan vs. S.D. Jones
Luger continues to ride an undefeated streak. Jones is a talented veteran who will test Lex. Jones starts fast, and Luger rolls out of the ring and confers with Heenan.
Luger returns to the ring. He works over SD, and wins with the “Human Torture Rack”.
Winner- Lex Luger
Mean Gene Okerlund is with Billy Jack Haynes.
Okerlund, “Fans, with me is the popular Billy Jack Haynes! Mr. Haynes you remain a top contender for any title in the wrestling world. You are on top of your game.”
Haynes, “Thank you Gene. I’m proud of my accomplishments. I’ve told you before, I’m wrestling for my Dad. He was always my hero. I have an open contract. I will wrestle anyone, any time. I do want a title, and if a Champion wants to sign on the dotted line, I’m ready.”
Okerlund, “The fans would love to see that. When we return, Billy will be in action.”
Match #3
Billy Jack Haynes vs. Black Bart
The powerful man from Portland takes on the rugged cowboy from North Dakota. Bart jumps Haynes before the bell. He works over Billy, and he is in trouble. Haynes rallies. He fights back. Now Bart is in retreat. Haynes takes over and clamps on the full Nelson. Bart fights it, but he submits.
Winner- Billy Jack Haynes
Match #4
Larry Zbyszko vs. Brian Adias
Zbyszko remains a top competitor in the GWA. Adias will be a good test. The early moments go back, and forth. Things are very even. Adias gets a two count, and this frustrates Larry. He leaves the ring and regroups. He returns, and we are underway again. Adias puts up a good fight, but Zbyszko wins with a neckbreaker.
Winner- Larry Zbyszko
We see Gorilla Monsoon in front of a “Spring Stampede” banner.
Monsoon, “Fans, March 4 is fast approaching. The GWA will be in Dallas, TX for ‘Spring Stampede’. We will be at Reunion Arena for some great wrestling action. Let’s get right to it. The card will feature a ‘Texas Shootout’. Here are the rules. Two men will start out in the ring. Every 90 seconds, another man will enter. There will be 30 total entrants. A man can be eliminated by being thrown over the top rope, pinfall, or submission. The possibilities are endless. These participants were announced last week, Wahoo McDaniel, Billy Jack Haynes and Lex Luger. Tonight we can add, the Commandos, the Rougeau Brothers, also several top stars from south of the border will be in the event, Atlantis, El Satanico, Lizmark, Cien Caras, El Faraón, and Blue Panther.”
Tonight we can add the Commandos, the Rougeau Brothers, Larry Zbyszko, and Bam Bam Bigelow. We can also announce that one of the biggest names in the sport will be a ‘Mystery Entrant’. It will be an exciting event.
The ‘Texas Shootout’ won’t be the only action that night. Hulk Hogan will defend the Global Heavyweight Champion against the man who injured him, Kamala. The Hulkster is out for revenge.
That’s not all, the tag team titles will be on the line.”

Jimmy Jack Funk vs. Gary Royal
The wild Funk goes to work immediately. Royal takes to the floor, and Funk follows him. He tosses Gary back into the ring, and continues the assault. Royal fights back, but Funk is too much. He wins with the shoulder breaker.
Winner- Jimmy Jack Funk
Match #6
Mean Mark Callous w/The Genius vs. Robbie Ellis
The massive Callous meets the wrestling art dealer. Ellis gives up a lot of size. He tries to hit and run. Callous is methodical. He stalks Ellis and wins with a choke slam.
Winner- Mean Mark Callous
Mean Gene Okerlund is with General Skandor Akbar and the Commandos.
Okerlund, “With me are General Skandor Akbar and his new team. General, this team, the Commandos, is one of the biggest and most vicious teams I have ever seen. What are your plans?”
Akbar, “You’re right about something Okerlund, these men have cut a swath of destruction through the wrestling world. Ray, and Boone, are monsters! We are here to destroy anything in our path, and we start with the Rougeaus tonight!”
Okerlund, “Our main event is next!”
Match #7
The Commandos w/General Skandor Akbar vs. The Rougeau Brothers
This will be a good one. The huge Boone starts with Jacques. The French Canadien has to figure out a way to solve the big man. He tries a few things, but Boone overpowers him. He tags in Ray, and the veteran continues the attack. Jacques is able to escape and tag in Raymond. He takes the right to Ray. The Commando scoops up Rougeau and lands a power slam. Referee Earl Hebner counts the fall. Akbar has quite the tag team.
Winners- The Commandos
