Dusty Rhodes interviews his old nemesis Kevin Sullivan at ringside, with Tazmaniac wandering around ringside. Dusty tips his cowboy hat to Sullivan, saying he might have found one of the wildest men he's ever seen... and that's saying something for "The Debbil". Sullivan tells Dusty that Tazmaniac should impress him because he's more dangerous than The Dream ever was, and if Tazmaniac was around 10 years ago, Sullivan would have succeeded in driving Dusty Rhodes out of the state of Florida!
Dusty smiles as he tells Sullivan that Tasmaniac's suplexes are indeed impressive, but maybe he should hold off bragging until his beast gets more than one win here in ECW. Sullivan jabs Rhodes in the chest with the golden spike and asks how many wins Dusty how wins he has in ECW or anywhere else recently? Sullivan says "for an announcer", Dusty sure has a big mouth! Rhodes hedges but Tazmaniac gets in his face, then Dusty admits he's yet to wrestle in ECW. Maybe that should change. Sullivan maniacally laughs and says it should change - and maybe he has the perfect opponent.
Dusty is left with something to think about as Kevin Sullivan leads Tazmaniac away by the hair.

Jay Sulli welcomes fans to Eastern Championship Wrestling on the SuperChannel... This week, ECW Heavyweight Champion The Sandman will be here in action against the Rockin' Rebel... We will see more from the Public Enemy after their interview last week... Plus, the debut of a young star named Tommy Dreamer.
Special guest "The American Dream" Dusty Rhodes then joins Jay Sulli at ringside for commentary this week, as Jay asks him about the tense scene with Kevin Sullivan and the Tazmaniac last week. Dusty tells Sulli he tried to be a "broadcast professional" but he can't help but feel "The Debbil" was trying to pick a fight with him. Nobody knows "The Debbil" better than Dusty Rhodes but The Dream is a professional and he's here in ECW to offer his commentary, not "knock any noggins, if you will".
In our first match of the week, Tommy Dreamer steps into the ring against Steve Richards. Sulli does a hard sell on Dreamer as a rookie prospect and he gets to put a hurting on Richards - though that's not exactly an impressive task. Dreamer eventually puts Richards away with a DDT. He tries to get the fans hyped after the match but he doesn't get much reaction.

Tommy Dreamer speaks at ringside with Jay Sulli and while Sulli really tries to hype him, there are some audible boos. Dreamer ignores this and says he's honored to be here in Eastern Championship Wrestling. However, the mood changes when the legendary Arn Anderson makes his first-ever appearance here in ECW to interrupt the segment.
Anderson motions for Dreamer to hit the bricks and tells him his interview time is over. Sulli is shocked as he asks what has brought Anderson here to Eastern Championship Wrestling. Arn Anderson talks about how The Andersons were "hardcore before hardcore was cool" and he thinks he might just hold the record for the sheer amount of "poor souls" he's dropped on their heads. Dreamer lingers in the background, so Anderson turns around to warn he might just add Tommy to the list if he doesn't split.
Dreamer looks exasperated but he walks off, as Arn Anderson gets back to talking about how there are three things that motivate him - glory, money and prestige. When Anderson holds up the four fingers, people already know he's had the prestige. Now, he wants the glory and the money for himself - and he's not above taking the low road to do it.
In our next match, “Hotstuff” Eddie Gilbert battles with Johnny Hotbody. Eddie is quite aggressive as he fights fire with fire every time Hotbody goes for the shortcut. In the end, Gilbert catches Hotbody with a Hot Shot.

Jay Sulli introduces another video from the two men we met last week the Public Enemy - two men emblematic of the first generation of Americans more afraid of living than dying.
The scene cuts to a darkened Philly alleyway where we hear bottles breaking and then camera catches Public Enemy wielding baseball bats.
Rocco: "Yo Johnny."
Johnny: "Yo Rocco."
Rocco: "You hear what they doing with us, Johnny?"
Johnny: "Oh, I heard, Rocco."
Rocco: "We make a challenge to those corny Super Destroys, but they give us somebody cornier, Johnny!"
Johnny: "It's whack, Rocco."
Rocco: "They bringing us to ECW to face 'Lumpy' Larry Winters and Wildman Sal Bellomo!"
Johnny: "Is this 1984, Rocco?"
Rocco: "I don't think so, Johnny."
Johnny: "I guess we gotta hurt 'em, Rocco."
Rocco: "Not just hurt 'em, Johnny."
Johnny: "We gotta destroy 'em out, Rocco. We gotta send a message, Rocco. Because, Rocco, ECW is our turf now."
Rocco: "That's right, Johnny."
Back in the ring, J.T. Smith has demanded a match against Kevin Sullivan after last week's attack in the match against Tazmaniac. Sullivan is a lunatic as he jumps Smith and bashes his head into the turnbuckle over and over again. Sullivan chokes Smith until the referee drags him off. Sullivan charges back over and stomps Smith over and over, picks up and hits the Tree of Woe in the corner. Finally, Sullivan covers for the pin.
After the match, Tazmaniac hits the ring and drops the unconscious J.T. Smith on his head with a T-bone suplex. Dusty Rhodes finally stands up from the desk in the Eagle's Nest. Sullivan grabs Tazmaniac by the hair and leads him away.

A video plays where ECW special correspondent Joey Styles announces the impending arrival of "The Fabulous" Shane Douglas to ECW! Douglas is hyped as the former protege of Ricky Steamboat and surefire candidate to be a world champion some day.
In a non-title main event, ECW Heavyweight Champion Sandman's bout against Rockin' Rebel never really got going when Paul E. Dangerously made a surprise appearance in ECW to interrupt the proceedings. Dangerously mouthed off to Sandman, but when he collared the managed, Paul clocked the champion with his mobile phone. Eddie Gilbert rolled in then raked Sandman’s eyes and really dug in while Don Muraco ran down and got the jump on the champion. Eddie handed Muraco his Cowboy boot as he blasted Sandman with it, drawing blood. Muraco then grabbed the surfboard and broke a second one over the champion's back before Dusty Rhodes ran down to scare off Muraco, Gilbert and Dangerously.
The camera zoomed in on a bleeding Sandman rolling around on the canvas....
