JR: Welcome everyone to Smoky Mountain Wrestling. I am Jim Ross and with me is Dutch Mantel.

DM: Doctor Dutch.

JR: Dr. Dutch. This week is going to be a slobber knocker of a week. Not only are we going to see who Jim Cornette is bringing out as his team in the Smoky Mountain tag team tournament, not only will there be a Beat the Champ TV title match, we are also going to see the crowing of the first Smoky Mountain heavyweight champion when the Memphis Mafia member “Nature Boy” Buddy Landel takes on Brad Armstrong in the finals. This will be a huge week for sure. Hey, Dutch? Do you want to take the name out and let us know who Tim Horner will be facing?

DM: I can do that, Jim. Today’s name is…*he reaches in JR’s hat* Bryant Anderson. That will be a good match.

JR: Andersons are known for holding TV titles. This really will be a good match. Fans, let’s get to our first match, The Thrill Seekers take on PG13.

 **The Thrill Seekers head to JR at the announce table.**

CJ: JR!!! We are in the semi-finals for the tag team titles and man, we are ready.

JR: You two look ready. You are either going to have the Rock N Roll Express, The Minnesota Wrecking Crew or whoever wins between Jim Cornette’s team or American Males.

LS: It doesn’t matter who it is because me and Chris didn’t come from Canada to lose. We are here to show how good we are and entertain the fans.

JR: Well, we know how good you two are and the fans sure do love you.

CJ: We love them too.

JR: Good luck in your next tournament match. Ok, who is this young lady?

**A pretty blonde comes out to the announce table.**

JR: And who might you be and why are you here? Fans sit over there.

TS: I will have you know I am not a fan. The idea of enjoying watching these men et all sweaty disgusts me. My name, is Tammy Sytch. I am a professional manager. Like my hero, Hillary Clinton, I am looking for that “right” man that will lead me to the top of the wrestling world. So you are going to see a lot of me until I find the right man.

JR: Do you have someone in mind?

TS: Absolutely. That is something you will learn next week. Right now I am going to the locker room to see what I am offered.

**She leaves as JR sends us to commercial.**

JR: We are back and that strange woman didn’t make it to the locker room as we don’t allow females in the mens locker room. But I bet she will be back sometime. Now folks…here is the rundown of the Smoky Mountain tag team title tournament. The Rock N Roll Express defeated Bob Holly & Al Snow. The Thrill Seekers defeated The Blue Bloods and The Minnesota Wrecking Crew defeated the Armstrongs. Right now though, it is the final semi-qualifier. The American Males, Scotty Riggs and Marcus Bagwell are here to take on a new Jim Cornette team.

DM: I have known Jimmy for years and I have to tell you this, Jim Ross…if he says he has a new team that can win this whole thing, believe him.

JR: Oh, I do, Dutch. I do.

**We go to the introductions. The fans cheer as Bagwell & Riggs come down the isle towards the ring, American Males being played loudly over the gym sound system. The cheers turn to boos as Jim leads two men down to the ring.**

JC: I want all you ugly, poor, dachshund look a likes in the crowd to shut your mouths and watch in awe as the greatest tag team in the world comes out. I, Jim Cornette, the manager of champions brings to you the “Doctor of Desire” Tom Prichard and his cousin, the man who was kicked out of Florida for causing riots of women to destroy buildings just to get near him…”Gigolo” Jimmy Del Ray!!! I bring to you for your viewing pleasure, THE HEAVENLY BODIES!!!!!

**Del Ray & Prichard make their way to the ring for the action**

 Tag Team Match (SMW Tag Team Title Tournament): The Heavenly Bodies (Prichard & Del Ray) w. Jim Cornette def. The American Males via moonsault from Del Ray to Riggs as Cornette held the leg of Bagwell, stopping him from getting in to break up the pin.

 The Bodies are with JR at the announce table.**

JR: Congratulations Jim Cornette. You cheated again to win.

JC: What are you talking about, Jim Ross? My Heavenly Bodies came, saw, and kicked some tail. Now, any other team gets in their way, those tails will be kicked too. My Midnight Express only lost the tag team belts because of an injury. Otherwise they would still be champions. So let me tell you this…the Midnight Express are brothers from different mothers. Well, The Heavenly Bodies are blood related. So Rock N Roll Express, you think you had troubles with my Midnights? Brother, you don’t know trouble. Thrill Seekers? You haven’t been around long enough to lace my Bodies’ boots. And you, Anderson kids…both of your old mans were tough. So is your uncle Arn. I will give you kids that. But unfortunately you two are not tough enough. You may be in time but you are not now. So what we have is this. We have you, JR, looking at the very best tag team in wrestling today and the winners of the Smoky Mountain tag team title tournament. Let’s go guys.

**Cornette leaves with his men but out comes JJ Dillon.**

JR: JJ, what can we do for you out here?

JJ: Jim Ross, Last week I came out here saying I was scouting as well as looking after Ole & Gene’s sons. Well, I am bringing my first signee in Smoky Mountain Wrestling out next week. He will be someone everyone is familiar with, someone who is a legend in this business, someone who will be the one to lead Smoky Mountain Wrestling to the future.

JR: Who can it be?

JJ: That is something you need to wait one week to find out. Another thing you will find out is I am bringing another here with me that -will- be the new NWA World’s heavyweight champion when that tournament takes place near the summer. Next week is the return of JJ Dillon managing the world’s best. Now, if you will excuse me, I have an Anderson to get ready.

**JJ leaves as we go to commercial.**

JR: We are back and it is time for the Beat the Champ TV title match. “White Lightning” Tim Horner defeated Tom Prichard last week, winning the title and his first $1000 cheque. Now he will have to beat one of the members of the famous Anderson family in Bryant.

DM: Bryant is the son of Ole and Horner is in for a fight tonight.

JR: You bet he is. Ole & Gene were two people I wouldn’t want to fight. I imagine the apples don’t fall too far from the trees. Fans, let’s get in to the introduction.

 **Horner is with JR at the announce table.**

JR: Tim, you have the second week and second cheque.

TH: I do and it has been tough but I got this.

JR: I am sure you do. Hey, what is this? Tracy, this is Tim’s time.

**”Wild Eyed Southern Boy” Tracy Smothers comes out**

TS: Excuse me, Jim Ross and sorry Tim. I have something to say and it needs to get out. Memphis Mafia…you guys have been picking on Jeff Jarrett and I am here to tell you right now that I will fight you face to face. I ain’t goin’ east to west. I am looking north to south and I will back up my friend Jeff. So Mafia guys…it ain’t you three or four against one no more.

TH: This is important?

TS: Well yeah. Jeff needs help.

TH: He can look elsewhere. I have my title to look after.

**Horner walks away while Smothers tries to talk to him as we go to commercial.**

JR: That was interesting response from Tim Horner.

DM: Can you blame him? The title is what is important. It is worth a thousand dollars a week. Jeff Jarrett picking fights isn’t worth anything.

JR: Jarrett isn’t picking fights.

DM: Now YOU’RE picking fights. Look, Jeff was offered a spot with the biggest group in wrestling today. These guys raised Jeff from a baby to an alright professional wrestler.

JR: He is better than “alright”. Jeez..now what do you two want?

**”Superstar” Bill Dundee and “Nature Boy” Buddy Landel come down**

BD: Listen here, JR…you are about to see the Memphis Mafia take it’s spot as the top of Smoky Mountain Wrestling. It is time for these punks here, the Armstrongs, learn they are not the Gods of southern wrestling.

**Out comes “Bullet” Bob**

BA: Here is the thing Bill Dundee…in Smoky Mountain Wrestling I -am- the judge, the jury and the executioner. So your man will get in that ring right now or I will count him out. 1…2…3

BD: You can’t do that.

BA: 4..5..

**Dundee shoves Landel towards the ring and rushes him in to it**

 MAIN EVENT (SMW HEAVYWEIGHT TOURNAMENT FINALS: Special Referee – Bob Armstrong): “Nature Boy” Buddy Landel w. “Superstar” Bill Dundee def. Brad Armstrong after Landel uses something in his hand to incapacitate Armstrong with a wild swing, while Dundee has Bob busy on the other side of the ring. When Bob turns around, all he can see is Brad lying there and Landel hitting the corkscrew elbow. This gives Bob no choice but to count out his own boy giving Buddy the win and the title.

 **Dundee and Landel are at the announce booth with JR.**

BD: I told you that the Memphis Mafia would do this. We all told you.

BL: Look and listen, Jim Ross…from day one you were all told that the Memphis Mafia would be the ones to run this company. We all told you that the Memphis Mafia would hold all the gold and we as of right now, we hold half. The other half is coming.

BD: Next week we are going to have a party, Jim Ross. It will be open to all members of the Mafia including “The King” himself.

JR: Wait a minute. Are you saying Lawler is a member of the Mafia?

BD: I am saying “The King” will be here and partying with us. Let’s go Budro. We have celebrating to do.
