Johnson, “Welcome to ‘Title Town USA’. We’re here in Green Bay, WI. You can feel the ghosts of Vince Lombardi and Bart Starr walking the streets of this town. O.K. Bart Star isn’t dead, but you get my point. ‘Rock-Tober-Fest’ is fast approaching and the card is taking shape. Last week we learned that the main event will be a steel cage match for the American Heavyweight Title. 2 Cold Scorpio will have his chance, without interference, to wrest the title from Nick Busick, but you can’t ignore Harley Race. He will have a plan. We also have the situation between Wolf Hawkfield and the Spellbinder. We will have information about that in our ‘Rock-Tober-Fest’ report, but right now the Spellbinder is in the ring.”

Match #1
The Spellbinder def. Dancing Wolf, w/powerslam
After the match the lights go out. Everyone assumes it is one of the Spellbinder’s illusions. When the lights come back on The Spellbinder is standing in the ring, but four men in black robes and hoods are on the floor, standing in each corner. The all four raise their right arms and point at the Spellbinder. Then the lights go out again and when they come back on all four hooded figures are gone. For the first time since he’s been in ACW the Spellbinder looks scared.

Todd Pettengill is in the interview area.

Pettengill, “Last week Francine revealed she had signed an open contract for Mikey Whipwreck to wrestle at ‘Rock-Tober-Fest’. That contract has been signed by another wrester, one of the fastest rising stars in this sport, this man, Shane Douglas.”

Douglas joins Pettengill.



Pettengill, “This is Shane Douglas. Mr. Douglas you have been the talk of the wrestling world for some time now.”

Douglas, “Shut up and let me talk. I am Shane Douglas and I’m from Pittsburgh, PA, the true ‘Title Town’ of professional sports! This godforsaken place here is ancient history, just like Hulk Hogan and Ric Flair are ancient history. I’m the ‘Franchise Player’ in wrestling and I’ve come to ACW to prove that!”

Pettengill, “What about Mikey Whipwreck?”

Douglas, “What about him? He’s a twerp and he’s got a floozy making decisions for him! The ‘Franchise’ is here for big game. It’s embarrassing .’Rock-Tober-Fest is in my hometown, I’ll go in there to a hero’s welcome and I’ll destroy him and move on to bigger and better things! Take that to the bank!”

Pettengill, “The ‘Franchise’ is very confident. When we return he will be in the ring.”

Dreamer, “I came to ACW to fight and that’s what I’ve been doing. I’m not afraid of anyone including someone as big as the Gang. I want a fair fight in Pittsburgh. Let it be one on one and may the best man win.”

Pettengill, “That may not be the way Harley Race wants it.”

Dreamer, “Maybe not. I’m going to show up and I’ll be ready for anything.”

Black, “Shut up ‘Fishgill’. You got a big mouth. Joel, Bobby and I have been on top of the tag team scene since we got here. There’s no competition. Tonight we get those three morons. That’ll take us about three minutes and then we get the two circus elephants at the Pay Per View, what’s next? A team of midgets?”

Duncum, “Billy’s right. First of all Gillenpet you are as ugly as you are stupid. Now to more important matters. Men on a Mission I want you remember one thing, all three of us will stop at nothing to keep these titles. We don’t rap to the fans, we don’t care about the fans. All we care about is winning and being Champions! We’re not circus clowns, we’re Champions!”

Deaton, “These two said it all, but I do want to say that Pettengill is the ugliest announcer in pro wrestling. That’s something you should be proud of.”

Pettengill, “They may not have any couth, but they can wrestle. The Wild Bunch will be in our main event tonight.”

Johnson, “We are a little over three weeks away from ‘Rock-Tober-Fest’. The card is rounding in to shape and ACW is the talk of the wrestling world. Todd everyone I talk to wants to know what’s going to happen in Pittsburgh.”

Pettengill, “The same here Craig. All my friends have called me about tickets. I told them get them quickly, but if you miss out, order from your local cable provider. There is no way you want to miss this show.”

Johnson, “Last week we added our main event. Nick Busick will defend the American Heavyweight Title, in a steel cage, against 2 Cold Scorpio. Most people think this favors Scorpio because Harley Race and the rest of his men cannot interfere. That sounds good in theory, but I just know that Race has something up his sleeve. We’ll have to see if it works. Well we told you we would have another announcement about the card tonight, so here it is. We all know about the situation involving Wolf Hawkfield and the Spellbinder. We saw the four hooded figures appear tonight. It’s hard to tell what will appear in Pittsburgh because Hawkfield will defend the American TV Title against the Spellbinder at ‘Rock-Tober-Fest’. Todd tell us what you think of that and then run down the card for us.”

Pettengill, “With all the mysterious happenings with these two men this match should take place on Halloween, but it’s going to be one week earlier. I can’t wait to see it. Besides Hawkfield and the Spellbinder, here’s what you will see.

We see Eddie and Alex Van Halen seated in director’s chairs.





Eddie, “I’m Eddie Van Halen and this is my brother Alex. When ACW asked us to be part of ‘Rock-Tober-Fest’ we jumped at the chance. All of us are wrestling fans and we love ACW.”

Alex, “Eddie and I used to watch wrestling as kids. We watched it from the Olympic in Los Angeles. Eddie was a Mil Mascaras fans, but I loved John Tolos and Freddie Blassie. I’ve always been tougher than my brother.”

Eddie, “O.K., O.k. but when we wrestled in the living room, I always won.”

Alex, “Right, go on telling the people that.”

Eddie, “Well we’ll both be in Pittsburgh on the 23rd, but we’ve got a surprise for all you fans, Alex and I will be in Milwaukee, next week, for ACW Live! and we’ll have a special guest with us.”

Johnson, “Wow! Eddie and Alex Van Halen with us for ACW Live! Don’t miss next week’s show!”

Johnson, “Fans we are coming closer, and closer to ‘Rock-Tober-Fest’. We will have more information about that event later tonight. We have several top matches tonight. We will see a new woman wrestler debut. She’s new to ACW, but you fans will remember her, the ‘Pride of the Emerald Isle’ Velvet McIntyre. We also have a great feature match. The American TV Title will be on the line. Wolf Hawkfield defends against a true legend in the sport of professional wrestling ‘Cowboy’ Bob Orton Jr. We also promised some special guests for tonight and here is the first one…Alex Van Halen!”



Alex comes out and shakes hands with Johnson.

Johnson, “Alex welcome to ACW.”

Alex, “Thank you Craig, it’s great to be here.”

Johnson, “Alex on October 23 you and the band will be in Pittsburgh for ‘Rock-Tober-Fest’. What does professional wrestling mean to Van Halen?”

Alex, “Well Eddie and I were fans growing up in Calfornia. We watched guys like Mil Mascaras, Freddie Blassie, and John Tolos. Most of the band are fans today and when this opportunity came along we couldn’t pass it up.”

Johnson, “Well the fans of ACW are glad you did. Alex is just our first guest of the night. There will be more later, but now let’s go to the ring and see Velvet McIntyre in action.”

Pettengill motions to the back. Out walks Eddie Van Halen. The crowd erupts.



Pettengill, “As if I have to do this, ladies and gentlemen Eddie Van Halen!”

Eddie, “Thanks Todd, it’s great to be a part of ACW.”

Pettengill, “We are so happy to have you, Alex and the band as part of the ACW family. Let’s get right to the point. You asked to come out and meet Mikey Whipwreck. Would you like to tell us why.”

Eddie, “Well there are two reasons. First I have so much respect for this man. He’s not the biggest man in the sport, but he has the biggest heart. I just love watching you wrestle.”

Eddie shakes hands with Mikey.

Mikey, “Thank you Mr. Van Halen…”

Eddie, “Call me Eddie.”

Mikey, “O.K….”

Francine slides in next to Eddie.

Francine, “Eddie, you and I think alike. That’s why I hooked up with Mikey. He’s cute and cuddly, just like you. When you play ‘Eruption’ I can’t control myself.”

Francine puts her arm around Eddie.

Pettengill, “Eddie you said there were two reasons.”

Eddie steps away from Francine.

Eddie, “Yes there are. I have someone with me who would like to meet Eddie, but I’m not sure I should let them.”

Valerie Bertinelli comes out.



Eddie, “Mikey don’t steal her from me.”

Valerie, “I wanted to repeat what my husband said. I am so impressed with Mikey. He never quits and he is a cute as can be.”

Mikey blushes.

Francine, “Listen missy, you stay away from Mikey! He’s mine!”

Pettengill, “Hold it, hold it, we don’t want any trouble.”

“Perfect Strangers” hits and the “Franchise” Shane Douglas comes out.




Douglas, “Wait just a minute! Here you have two beautiful women and the man they’re talking about is Mikey Whipwreck? You’ve got to be kidding me!”

Douglas steps close to Valerie.

Douglas, “Why don’t you dump this skinny singer and take a run with a real ‘Devil’. I’ll show you what it’s like to live your life ‘One Day at a Time’ with a real man, the ‘Franchise’!”

Cooler heads prevail and everyone leaves the interview area.

Pettengill, “I think we just witnessed a love ‘pentagon’ with the ‘Franchise’, Mikey, Francine, Eddie Van Halen and Valerie Bertinelli! Talk about surreal! When we return the ‘Franchise’ will be in the ring.”

Pettengill, “With me is Harley Race and his entourage. Mr. Race if you wanted the people of ACW to notice you, they have done just that. Your men have attacked other wrestlers and interfered in matches to the point where everyone is looking over their shoulders at all times.”

Race, “Good that’s what I wanted to happen! I told you I would control ACW, or destroy it. I’m well on my way. I have the American Heavyweight Champion and after he destroys Scorpio in the cage at ‘Rock-Tober-Fest’ there will be no stopping him. One Man Gang will end Tommy Dreamer’s career and Ax and 911 will march through their opponents like Grant through Richmond. I am unstoppable!”

Pettengill, “We will get a chance to evaluate Race’s men. In the next match the One Man Gang will be in action and, after that the, American Heavyweight Champion will be in the ring.”

Johnson, “’Rock-Tober-Fest’ is 12 days away. The tension is rising and everyone is anxious. We heard from Eddie and Alex Van Halen earlier tonight and they are ready.”

Pettengill, “Don’t forget Valerie, never forget Valerie.”

Johnson, “How true, how true. Things are falling into place. We have three more matches to add tonight. First of all the Sandman will be in action as he takes on Vic Steamboat and a new tag team will debut. Let’s take a look at the ‘Gangstas’.”



Johnson, “Wow! It looks like the tag team scene is getting even hotter. I don’t know what to think of these two. Now Todd tell us about the third match we have added.”

Pettengill, “Let’s see some video highlights.”

We see a video rundown of the Wolf Hawkfield-Spellbinder feud.

Pettengill, “These two have taken wrestling to almost mystic levels. No telling what will happen in Pittsburgh when Wolf Hawkfield defends the American TV Title against the Spellbinder.”

Johnson, “There is one caveat to that match. Wolf Hawkfield meets ‘Cowboy’ Bob Orton is tonight’s main event. There is a very good chance that ‘Ace’ could take the title. In that case it would be Orton vs. the Spellbinder. Now Todd is going to run down the entire ‘Rock-Tober-Fest’ card.”

American Television Championship
Wolf Hawkfield (Champion) vs. “Cowboy” Bob Orton Jr.

Hawkfield comes to the ring dressed in his black robe and still with the black face paint. This is a hard hitting close encounter. The veteran Orton comes very close to winning the TV Title, but Hawkfield hits the cyber spear for the win. When referee Jack Doane raises Hawkfield’s hand four Spellbinders hit the ring. Orton ends up helping Hawkfield, but he goes down and all four men work over Wolf. They roll out of the ring and the lights go out. When they come on again the four Spellbinders are gone and the Spellbinder is standing on the ramp.

Spellbinder, “Hawkfield do not try to match me power for power. You will lose more than the TV Title.”

The entire arena is bathed in red light. The Spelldiner is gone.

Johnson, “Welcome to Columbus, OH, the birthplace of ACW! We are five days away from ‘Rock-Tober-Fest’ and the action is hot and heavy. We have a lot to show you tonight, so let’s get started. Let’s bring out Harley Race and his men.”

Race and his entourage come out.

Johnson, “Mr. Race you promised to shake up ACW and you have done just that. Your men have two big matches at ‘Rock-Tober-Fest’. One Man Gang meets Tommy Dreamer, and in the big one, Nick Busick defends the American Heavyweight Title against 2 Cold Scorpio, in a steel cage.”

Race, “Johnson you finally got something right. I have shaken ACW to the core. My men have cut a swath of destruction through the entire organization and it will continue. Look at these four behemoths, who can stop them? I’ll answer that, no one! Tommy Dreamer better have a good hospital plan because the Gang is going to squash him like a grape. Scorpio, you’re about as dumb as that mentor of yours, Atlas, you wanted a cage match, you got a cage match, and now Nick Busick is going to sliced you to pieces. I will control ACW, you can count on that!”

Johnson, “Strong words from Harley Race. We told you we have a great show for you tonight. You will 2 Cold Scorpio in action, the Sandman, Wolf Hawkfield, and in our main event, Men on a Mission meet the Broad Street Bullies in a rematch from last week. Mr. Race’s men will be in action, as well, in our first match Demolition Ax and 911 will team up for the first time. Let’s go to the ring.”

First of all, we have a tag team match between Double Inoue and LCO. There is some news from Japan that might affect both of these teams. Tell us about it.”

Watanabe, “Thank you Craig. There is, indeed, news from Japan. The WWWA Tag Team Title has been declared vacant due to a controversial match in Osaka. The ‘Championship Committee’ has decided there will be a tournament to fill the vacant title, and Craig, I think you have some news about how that affects ACW.”

Johnson, “Yes I do. ACW bid for some of the tournament matches, and was lucky enough to be awarded both semi-finals. More information will be available in November. We are very excited to be able to bring you these matches and we can also announce that, because of this, you will see more top female wrestlers coming to ACW in the next few weeks. Don’t miss this. Now let’s see Akria Hokuto in action.”

Douglas, “Mikey, you little worm, listen to me good! I’m coming to my hometown, Pittsburgh, and I’m going to give you the beating of your life! You are going to leave Pittsburgh with bruises and some broken bones and you may just leave alone. Francine would look even better standing with the ‘Franchise’!”

The Sandman vs. Vic Steamboat

Steamboat’s high flying moves give him the early edge. Sandman rallies with his brawling tactics. He wins with the Russian leg sweep. After the pin he takes out and other can of Iron City, drinks part of it and pours the rest on Steamboat.

Double Inoue vs. Las Cachorras Orientales

This is fast paced and exciting. Both teams have their chances. Etsuko Mita goes for the Death Valley Driver, but Takako Inoue blocks it. The end comes when Etsuko Inoue catches Mima Shimoda with a Niagara Driver and covers her for the pin.

Johnson is with Tommy Watanabe.

Johnson, “That was a fantastic match. Tommy both of those teams have to be top contenders for the upcoming WWWA World Tag Team Championship tournament.”

Watanabe, “The entire world of womens wrestling will be watching this tournament. Double Inoue scored a confidence building win in that match, but both teams are top contenders for that title.”

Johnson, “In the coming weeks we will have more information about the WWWA World Tag Team tournament. Remember the semi-finals and finals will take place on ACW show. Now let’s talk about the ‘Red Belt’. The ‘Dangerous Queen’ Akira Hokuto has come very close to dethroning Aja Kong, but Kong is still the Champion.”

Watanabe, “The experts are in two camps, one the Champion’s days are numbered and Hokuto needs just one more shot, and two Hokuto has come as close as she can get, but Kong will remain the Champion.”

Johnson, “Which camp are you in?”

Watanabe, “It’s close, but my money is on Akira Hokluto.”

Johnson, “Let’s stop talking about it and see the match.”

WWWA World Championship
Aja Kong (Champion) vs. Akira Hokuto

The larger Champion jumps Hokuto before the bell. Kong pounds away and the “Dangerous Queen” is in trouble. Kong slams her and goes for the cover. Referee Jack Doane counts two, but Akira kicks out. The tide begins to turn and the Pittsburgh crowd rises to cheer the Challenger. Hokuto gets the Champion up in a Northern Lights Bomb and King crashes to the canvas. Doane counts 1…2…3! Akira Hokuto wins the “Red Belt”. LCO comes out to celebrate with the new champion

Pettengill, “Wow! Van Halen is on fire tonight. With me is Tommy Dreamer. Tommy it takes a brave man to challenge the One Man Gang, but you did just that.”

Dreamer, “Race and his men have tried to take over ACW. He sent the Gang in to hurt me. I won’t stand for that. He’s big, and tough, but I don’t back down from anyone. Gang you bring all you have, ‘cause your getting all I got tonight!”

Pettengill, “Strong words from the man from Yonkers. Now let’s go to Craig Johnson with Harley Race, 911 and the One Man Gang.”

Johnson, “With me is Harley Race, the One Man Gang, and their bodyguard, 911. Mr. Race Tommy Dreamer is primed and ready.”

Race, “Let him be. He’s a fool. Look at the Gang, 6-9, 450 pounds of destruction! Dreamer is an overachiever, he’s where he is based on determination. I’ll give him that, but that won’t work against a monster like this, tell ’em Gang.”

OMG, “OHHHHHHH! Tommy Dreamer I’m going to destroy you! I thought I finished you last time, but you came back. That shows how stupid you are. It’s going to be another stretcher trip for you! OHHHH!”

Johnson, “This will be a good one, let’s go to the ring.”

Tommy Dreamer vs. One Man Gang w/Harley Race and 911

Two street fighters go at it in this one. Dreamer takes the fight to the big man from Halstead Street. He backs Gang into the corner and pounds away. Referee Jimmy Jett backs Dreamer away and the big man stumbles out of the corner. The match turns into a slugfest and eventually both men end up on the arena floor. They continue to battle until Jett’s counts reaches ten. Race and 911 begin to argue with the referee. OMG slams Dreamer to the floor. He climbs to the ring apron and hits the 747 splash on Dreamer. Tommy is out. Race and his men celebrate in the ring while medical personnel load Dreamer onto a stretcher.

Johnson, “The ‘Franchise’ is ready. Let’s go to Todd Pettengill, MIkey Whipwreck and Francine.”

Pettengill, “with me is MIkey Whipwreck and Francine. Mikey you and Shane Douglas will step into the ring in a few minutes. You have an impressive winning streak going, but Shane Douglas is one of the top names in the sport.”

Mikey, “Well Todd…”

Francine, “Mikey doesn’t care who he wrestles. He’s the best, no one can beat him. Mikey is going right to the top!”

Pettengill, “O.K. Francine. Mikey there is someone else who is rooting for you tonight. Let’s see the video tape.”

We see a tape of Valerie Bertinelli.



Valerie, “Mikey good luck tonight. I can’t be in Pittsburgh, but I’m rooting for you.”

Pettengill, “Wow Valerie sure likes your style Mikey.”

Whipwreck, “I’m flattered, I don’t know what to say.”

Francine grabs Mikey.

Francine, “Let’s get out of here and if that floozy tries anything, I’ll take care of her!”

Pettengill, “It looks like Francine is jealous. Let’s go to the ring for Mikey vs. Shane Douglas.”

Mikey Whipwreck w/Francine vs. Shane Douglas

Douglas takes the fight to Whipwreck. Mikey absorbs the punishment and retaliates. Douglas tries everything, but Mikey will not stay down. Francine and the fans cheer wildly for the young man from Buffalo. Mikey mounts a comeback, but it’s not enough. Douglas hits the Pittsburgh plunge and gets the win. Douglas puts the boots to Mikey and Francine tries to intervene. Douglas grabs her and kisses her. Francine hesitates and then slaps Shane. Douglas laughs manically and leaves the ring. Francine checks on Mikey.

Craig Johnson narrates highlights of the Wolf Hawkfield vs. Spellbinder feud. We see Spellbinder attack Hawkfield after Wolf’s title defense against Demolition Ax. We see Hawkfield’s promo in the woods. We see the four hooded figures appear at ringside and we see several “Spellbinders” attack Hawkfield.

Wolf Hawkfield (Champion) vs. The Spellbinder

The Spellbinder comes to the ring first. The lights go out and a red light bathes the entrance ramp. Several First Nation Shaman leads Wolf Hawkfield to the ring. The Shaman dance around the ring and Hawkfield stands stoically.



He removes his hood to reveal the black face paint. This is a knockdown, drag out fight. Both big men slug it out. They both have their moments. Spellbinder gets Hawkfield up for a powerslam, but Wolf grabs the ropes and blocks the move. They continue to battle until Hawkfield hits the cyber spear and covers the challenger. Referee Jimmy Jett counts the fall. The Champion scores a measure of revenge.

Pettengill, “With me are the American Tag Team Champions, the Wild Bunch. Gentlemen Men on a Mission have come very close to taking the titles from you. Many people think tonight is the night.”

Deaton, “Listen you New York sissy, my partners and I have held these belts for a couple of months and beaten anyone who’s tried to take them. Those two clowns have no chance, you hear me, no chance!”

Duncum, “Fishgill you’re a moron! My boys are ready for those two clowns. If those two fat cows can waddle to the ring, will kick their fat butts all the way to the circus and back.”

Black, “Clowns? They look more like circus elephants! Men on a Mission you better be on a mission. A mission to get new jobs because we’re ending your careers tonight!”

Pettengill, “The Wild Bunch, uncouth, but very effective. Our tag title match is next.”

American Tag Team Championship
The Wild Bunch (Billy Black and Bobby Duncum Jr.) w/Joel Deaton vs. Men on a Mission w/Oscar

Oscar fires up the fans with a pre-match rap. When the bell ring MOM use their size advantage to dominate the early going. The crowd gets behind the men in purple and it looks like we’ll have new Champions. Duncum and Black take to the floor to confer with Joel Deaton. They return and the pace of the match picks up. All four men are in the ring and referee Jack Doane has trouble controlling the action. He escorts Mable back to the corner which allows Black and Duncum to double bodyslam Mo. Black climbs to the top rope and hits the moonsault. Doane counts the fall and the Wild Bunch retain the tag titles.

Craig Johnson is with 2 Cold Scorpio and Tony Atlas.

Johnson, “In just a few minutes 2 Cold Scorpio steps into the cage to meet Nick Busick with the American Heavyweight Title on the line. 2 Cold, Tony, you have come so close and now it appears it will be one on one with no outside interference. This could be your night.”

Atlas, “2 Cold is ready, I mean ready. Harley Race done stuck his nose into our business, now he gonna find out what 2 Cold Scorpio really got, and it be a lot!”

Scorpio, “Busick, I’ve pinned you in tag matches, I have you beaten before Race and 911 stick their noses into things, but tonight the cage stops all that. It all over for you. Shine that belt up real nice because it going around my waist, tonight!”

Johnson, “2 Cold is ready. Let’s go to Todd Pettengill with Nick Busick, 911, and Harley Race.”

Pettengill, “With me is the American Heavyweight Champion, his bodyguard 911 and manager Harley Race. Gentlemen the steel cage negates any plans you had of interfering.”

Race, “What are you talking about Pettengill? Nick Busick has defended this title with honor. Since I became his manager he has beaten all challengers and tonight will be no different.”

Pettengill, “He’s defended the title with the help of you and 911, but that won’t happen tonight.”

Race,”You just wait and see what happens tonight, but I guarantee one thing, Nick Busick will leave the Civic Arena with the title.”

Pettengill, “Our main event is coming up, but first let’s hear Van Halen again.”

“The Bully” Nick Busick (Champion) w/Harley Race and 911 vs. 2 cold Scorpio w/Tony Atlas

The steel cage is lowered and 2 Cold and Tony Atlas come to the ring. Scorpio enters and the crowd erupts. The cheers turn to boos as the Champion and his entourage comes to the ring. 911 tries to enter ring with Busick, but referee Jim Molineaux stops him. Todd Pettnegill goes through the introductions and the match and announces that a wrestler can win by pinfall, submission, or escape from the cage. There is no disqualification. The night everyone has been waiting for is finally here. The bell rings and both men begin to circle one another. They know one mistake can lose the match. They lock up and Busick overpowers Scorpio. The powerhouse from Weirton, WV dominates the early action. He rakes Scorpio’s face across the steel cage and 2 Cold is lacerated. Things look bad for the man from Denver. Busick continues to work over the cut and Scorpio is a bloody mess. The Pittsburgh crowd tries to rally Scorpio. He begins to fight back. He lands rights and lefts and soon Busick is bleeding as well. 2 Cold whips Busick into the ropes and lands a dropkick. Nick goes down in a heap. Scorpio goes to the top rope. He continues to climb to the top of the cage. He leaps and hits the tumbleweed. Busick is out. Jim Molineaux counts 1…2…3! 2 Cold Scorpio is the new American Heavyweight Champion!

The program opens with a handheld camera shot in the dressing room. Wrestlers are laid out on the floor, medical personnel are tending to others and debris is spread around the room. Todd Pettengill has the mike.

Pettengill, “Fans we are in one of the dressing rooms of the Allen County War Memorial. It’s chaos in here. No one quite knows what happened. Let’s call Vic Steamboat over here, Vic, Vic what happened?”



Steamboat, “Race and his men burst into the locker and attacked everyone in sight. Someone, I think it was Demolition Ax, clocked with a chair. All they kept saying was, ‘Tell Scorpio all about this! He’s next!’ They tore up the locker room and left.”

Pettengill, “Well this might change our format for tonight. We have lots of news from ‘Rock-Tober-Fest’ and some of these men are scheduled to wrestle tonight. We’re not sure who can, and cannot wrestle. Let’s go to Craig Johnson.”

Johnson, “Wow, what a scene! This is chaotic. Like Todd said, we want to talk about ‘Rock-Tober-Fest’. First the big news, 2 Cold Scorpio defeated Nick Busick to win the American Heavyweight Title. It looks like that didn’t sit too well with Harley Race. To the best of our knowledge, Race and his men have left the arena. No one has seen them. If we get more information we will let you know. Let’s go to the ring and see ‘Cowboy’ Bob Orton in action.”

Johnson, “2 Cold Scorpio is not the only new Champion around here. Akira Hokuto capped a long chase by pinning Aja Kong and won the WWWA Title. Now that the ‘Dangerous Queen’ has the ‘Red Belt’ she is the hunted instead of the hunter. What do you make of it Tommy.”

Watanabe, “The world of womens wrestling is hot with rumors right now. There are many names mentioned as challengers, some from the U.S. and some from Japan. I know that All Japan Womens Wrestling and ACW are fielding requests as we speak. With the tag team tournament coming up womens wrestling is on fire right now.”

Johnson, “Yes it is. We will have news about Hokuto and her challengers, as well as the tag team tournament in the coming weeks. Right now let’s see the new Champion in action.”

Pettengill, “You were able to defeat the Spellbinder at ‘Rock-Tober-Fest’, but it was not easy.”

Hawkfield, “Spellbinder is a worthy opponent. It took all I had to defeat him. He challenged me in a way I have never been challenged before.”

The Spellbinder comes out holding what appears to be a leather strap.

Pettengill, “Hold on, we don’t want any trouble.”

Spellbinder, “I do not seek trouble. I seek revenge. Hawkfield you defeated me, I give the credit that is due, but I ask for a rematch. I want a ‘Strap Match’. This is a match your people made famous. I wish to defeat you at your own game.”

Hawkfield, “The ‘Strap Match’ is, indeed, a match my people have used to settle scores for centuries. I will not back down. I will meet you in the ring.”

Pettengill, “Wow! A ‘Strap Match’. I know the match makers will get to work on this one!”

Scorpio, “Like the cowards they be. Where are they now? I’m here and they gone. I’m not afraid of Busick, Race, or any of those fools!”

Atlas, “Scorpio took the title just like we all predicted. Now he’s ready for anyone. If Busick wants more of this, let him bring it!”

Pettengill, “Well it looks like Race and his men are gone for the night, but you know we’ll hear from them again.”

Scorpio is very sharp and wins with the tumble weed.

Pettengill, “Let me introduce a newcomer to ACW, Inspector Whippleman.”

Harvey Whipplemam, dressed in a Mounties’ uniform, comes out.

Whippleman, “That’s Inspector Whippleman.”

Pettengill, “O.K. Inspector Whippleman. You have requested and been granted a manager’s license in ACW. Now that you are here, what are your plans?”

Whippleman, “Well Mr. Pettengill I spent many years in the ‘Great White North’ chasing down the baddest of the bad. I have since retired and looked for another line of work. I chose managing wrestlers. I’m here in ACW, what a terrible name, ‘American’ Championship Wrestling. Anything with America in it can’t be very good, but I digress. I have come here to manage the best wrestlers and take them to the top.”

Pettengill, “That sounds well and good, but I don’t see any wrestlers with you.”

Whippleman, “Pettengill you really are moron. You need to have patience. You’re like the jewel thief from Montreal I caught singlehandedly. He couldn’t wait to fence the diamonds, and of course, I was there to apprehend him. If you really can’t wait, I’ll show you my first two men. They are one of the finest tag teams in the world. They are also fellow sons of the ‘Great White North’ and just as tough as I am, Jacques and Pierre, the Quebecers!”

The Quebecers comes out and hug Whippleman.”



Pettengill, “Very impressive. The Quebecers are a fine tag team and have championship gold in several other organizations. You are off to a good start.”

Whippleman, “Thank you, Pettengill, not that you opinion means anything. I’m taking the Quebecers to the ring. Prepare to be impressed.”

The Quebecers w/Inspector Whippleman def. Hack Myers and J.T. Smith, Jacques w/Quebec crab vs. Smith
After the match Whippleman pulls a rolled up Quebec flag from under the ring. He holds it while the Quebecers salute it. All three men march to the back.

Tony Atlas w/2 Cold Scorpio def. Duane Gill
As referee Jack Doane raises Atlas’ hand Harley Race and his men surround the ring. They climb into the ring. Todd Pettengill addresses them.

Pettengill, “Mr. Race, you’ve done enough tonight. We don’t want a repeat of the earlier incident.”

Race grabs the mike.

Race, “What’s wrong Scorpio? Are you scared, you know Atlas is.”

Tommy Dreamer and the Gangstas come down the aisle and climb into the ring.

Race, “Oh, you got backup, not a surprise. I’m glad to see everyone. Let me address you one by one. Gangstas, you think you’re the toughest S.O.Bs around. I’m going to give you a chance to prove it. I have a contract for next week in Salt Lake City, the Gangstas vs. Demolition Ax and 911. Are you men enough to sign it?”

New Jack grabs the contract and the pen and he and Mustafa sign it.

Race, “O.K. One down. Dreamer, it looks like you don’t learn. One Man Gang crushed you in Pittsburgh and now you’re back for more. I have a second contract. This one is for two weeks from tonight in Moscow, ID, you vs. The One Man Gang. Are you man enough?”

Dreamer takes and signs the contract.

Race, “Now Scorpio you beat Busick at ‘Rock-Tober-Fest. I can’t take that away from you. How about a rematch?”

Scorpio takes the contract and signs it, then takes the mike from Race.

Scorpio, “I’m ready for it. Where’s Busick anyway. He’s not here is he scared?”

Race, “Oh Nick Busick doesn’t work for me anymore. The match isn’t against him. Read the fine print.”

Scorpio reads it and then shows it to Atlas and Pettengill.

Pettengill,” It states that 2 Cold Scorpio will defend the American Heavyweight Title, on November 22, at the Coliseum Arena in Oakland, CA, against a wrestler of Mr. Harley Race’s choosing, a mystery opponent.”

Race takes the mike from Scorpio.

Race, “Scorpio it must be really tough getting through life when you’re a moron.”

The show ends with Race laughing.
