JR: Welcome everyone to Smoky Mountain Wrestling. In my revolving co-host chair, with me this week and for the near seeable future, Dutch Mantel.
DM: That is “Dr.” Dutch.
JR: Is it? Ok, “Dr.” Dutch, This week we are going to have the semi-finals of the SMW heavyweight title tournament. We are going to see Brad Armstrong take on “Hot Stuff” Eddie Gilbert and “Nature Boy” Buddy Landel…
DM: The -real- Nature Boy…
JR: Landel will take on “Primetime” Brian Lee. Our main event will be Jeff Jarrett taking on Brian Christopher and Dutch, who will be the contender to the Beat the Champ TV title this week?
DM: I am glad you asked. This week champion “Dr.” Tom Prichard will defend the title against…”White Lightning” Tim Horner. But let’s go back to the main event for a second. Jeff Jarrett’s old man Jerry is someone I have known and worked for, for a long, long time. Off and on about….15 years or so. Maybe closer to 20. They are Memphis born and bred. Why they are fighting the Memphis Mafia, I have no idea. But I bet you Jeff will have some questions regarding Bill Dundee last night. Dundee is someone I have known a long time as well.
JR: We are also going to have a talk with commissioner Bob Armstrong regarding the now vacant tag team titles. All this and so much more. Fans, let’s get to the ring for the action.

**Gilbert is with JR at the announce table**
EG: JR…I WAS ROBBED!!!!
JR: You got beat.
EG: IT WAS STOLEN FROM ME!!! **takes a deep breath** listen here, Brad Armstrong. Your daddy won’t change this because he gets his boy in the title tournament finals but let me tell you this...you -won’t- get past “The Nature Boy”.
JR: How do you know Landel will get past “Primetime” Brian Lee?
EG: I am telling you right here and now that the Memphis Mafia -will- be in the finals. This is something you can bet the trailer you live in on, Jim Ross.
**Out comes commissioner Bob Armstrong**
BA: Eddie Gilbert, let me tell you something right now…You won’t do a thing to Brad because you are not in this tournament anymore.
EG: Let me tell -you- something…I have a manger’s license still so I will be there at ringside.
BA: Good. So will I.
EG: That isn’t fair.
BA: I am the law and order out here, bucko, so if I want a closer look, I will get one. Now, get out of my face before this tie comes off.
**Gilbert leaves while Bob starts to speak again**
BA: Now the trash is gone, I can speak. This week will be a special week. As you and the fans know by now, Stan Lane injured his leg and will be out of action for 6 weeks. The issue is, the tag team titles need to be defended at least once every 30 days. So, next week we will start an 8 team tournament to crown new champions. The teams will be… The Rock N Roll Express, Scott & Steve Armstrong, The Thrill Seekers, Chris Jericho & Lance Storm from Canada, The Blue Bloods from the UK, who are Steven Regal & David Taylor. The other four are The American Males Scotty Riggs & Marcus Bagwell, Bob Holly & Al Snow, Jim Cornette has a mystery team, and finally The Minnesota Wrecking Crew Brad & Bryant Anderson.
JR: That is a huge tournament.
BA: It is a world wide one, Jim. This tournament will go on for a couple weeks and will include live events so make sure you get your tickets for those shows as well. Now, this isn’t even it. Next week, right here on TV we will have the finals for the SMW heavyweight championship. And if you think that is a lot, THAT isn’t it. We are 20 days out from the Brawl in the Hall in Johnson City, Tennessee at the Freedom Hall. There will be every Smoky Mountain title on the line that night so get your tickets now.
JR: All that is huge news. Thank you Bob. Fans, we will be right back.

JR: We are back and Dutch, that is a lot of news we just got. A tag team tournament starting at live events, a finals next week on TV AND in less than three weeks, Brawl in the Hall at Freedom Hall in Johnson City.
DM: Smoky Mountain Wrestling is looking to get bigger and better. Hey, JR…is that….what is he doing here?
**The camera moves over to see JJ Dillon heading to the announce table.**
JR: JJ…what are you doing here?
JJ: Jim Ross…I ask my self that every day. I feel dirty just standing in here. The reason the world’s best manager is here is because the world’s best wrestler, the real champion on the world whether he has the title belt or not, Ric Flair, is on his way. Why he wants to come to a place like this, filled with the inbred, unwashed masses is beyond me. But he does. So, if he is here, I am here. Plus, I was asked by Gene and Ole if I would take a look at their two boys, Brad & Bryant. So, that is why I am here, ruining my shoes. Now, I am going to take my time to watch a match between a man I am more than familiar with in Buddy Landel, and a man I am not so familiar with but may be of interest, “Primetime” Brian Lee.
JR: You watch who you want, JJ. Fans’ it is time for the introductions.

SMW Heavyweight Championship Tournament (Semi-Finals): “Nature Boy” Buddy Landel def. “Primetime” Brian Lee after Gilbert throws powder in to the eyes of Lee. However Bob Armstrong sees this and orders the match to be restarted. As Landel protests with Gilbert and gets in the face of Armstrong, he doesn’t notice Brian Lee getting ready to hit the Primetime Slam. Before Lee can do anything though, Brian Christopher & “Superstar” Bill Dundee get in the ring and lay a beating on Lee. They leave so Landel can hit the corkscrew elbow for the win.

The Mafia and Bob Armstrong come to the announce table. **
BA: I don’t know what you did yet Gilbert but rest assured I will find out.
EG: Here is the thing…it don’t matter what I did if I did anything because in Smoky Mountain Wrestling, the official has the final say. The Memphis Mafia is in the finals and -will- be the SMW heavyweight champion.
BA: You are right about that. I can’t change the outcome but I can do this…if I see you or your group had anything to do with this, fines a plenty.
EG: Do you think we care about fines?
BA: That ain’t it, Eddie Gilbert. For that Smoky Mountain heavyweight title match…-I- am going to be the special referee.
**The entire Mafia start protesting this decision as Armstrong says it is what it is and he will see the Mafia next week**
**We are taken to the live event area where the US junior champion “Suicide Blonde” Chris Candido is.**
CC: You know what is funny? I defend my belt all weekend against top people. I defend my belt against everyone who wants a shot here. But when I won the title, all anyone could talk about is that punk Brian Pillman. I call him out and what does he do? He leaves the territory to go up north. Here is the thing about that. I am from New Jersey. If Pillman thinks he can talk trash about me up there? Fuggetaboutit. Now there is this dancing fool…Alec Wrightwing or something like that. He is from Germany and is going to dance his way in to Smoky Mountain to take my US junior heavyweight championship. What I want this punk to know that I am from New Jersey. I am the cousin of Tony Mareno and there isn’t anyone who can dance better than him. So Mr. Germany….just like Pillman did, it is better you head back to your country and not come to the ring anytime I am there. Bad things -will- happen to you.

JR: We are back and we have our finals for the Smoky Mountain heavyweight title. “Primetime” Brian Lee taking on Brad Armstrong. But that isn’t it. The tag team tournament is going to start tomorrow.
DM: It is going to be huge and from what I can tell, until the tag team tournament is over, the live events will be taped.
JR: They will. Folks, it is time for our Beat the Champ TV title match. “Dr.” Tom Prichard won it last week and won the $1000 with it. Now, he will be defending against “White Lightning” Tim Horner and it will be a good match. Fans, lets go to the ring announcement.

JC: CAN YOU BELIEVE THIS!!!!! WE WERE ROBBED!!!!
JR: Jim Cornette, you lost. Tom Prichard was pinned 1,2, 3.
TP: HE HELD MY HAIR!!! HE PULLED MY TIGHTS!!!!
JR: At the same time?
JC & TP: YES!!!!
JC: Tom, Tom.. hold on. Relax a minute. Enjoy this time you have with that title Tim Horner. You won’t have it for long. Right now though, everyone is asking who my secret team is that will be in the SMW tag team title tournament. Well…none of you get to know. None of you will know until next week on TV when we come out for our match in the tournament. But let me tell you, this team is equal to or better than the Midnight Express. Ok…equal to. It is -way- better than any other team in this tournament and it isn’t even close. So once we get the Smoky Mountain tag team titles, then we will get the TV title back and then…whoever wins that heavyweight title…understand we are coming for that belt too.
**We are at the live event area where the Rock N Roll Express are**
RM: Me and Robert have been looking for that Smoky Mountain tag team titles. We have been back and forth and looking to get the belts we didn’t win. So let me tell you something. This tag team title tournament will have a lot of teams, a lot of good tough teams. But me and Robert? We don’t care who is in it. But I will tell you what we want. We want your team Jimmy Cornette. We want your mystery team. You beat us using that racket.
RG: You hit Ricky and took the belts but I am telling you right now that it won’t happen again.
RM: Jimmy, and hell, any team in that tournament, the Rock N Roll ain’t here to play, we are here to stay.

JR: The last commercial is over and it is time for the main event. It will be Jeff Jarrett taking on Brian Christopher of the Memphis Mafia. Here comes Jeff..
JJ: Jim Ross, I don’t know what has gotten in to these guys like Bill Dundee. He has been friends of my family since the day I was born pretty much. He helped me in my training so to have him attack me like he did last weekend….I just don’t know. I don’t get it. But I won’t back down from it.
**Dundee and Landel come out to join Christopher**
JR: I don’t want any trouble here at all.
BD: There won’t be no trouble, Jim Ross. We are here to watch. We are not here to fight. But let me just say something. Jeff…you are right. I have known you since you were yay high. I have changed your diapers and taught you your first headlock. But when you were offered a spot here with your Memphis family, you turned us down. That was a slap to my face, a slap to the face of people who have known you your whole life, Jeff. You did that when you said you wouldn’t join your family.
JJ: That wasn’t what I meant.
BD: That is ok, Jeff. Just so we are clear. Now, go have that match.
JR: Let’s go to the introductions.

MAIN EVENT: Jeff Jarrett def. Brian Christopher

**Jarrett gets the nod and is celebrating when Dundee and Landel get in the ring and brawl with Jarrett, quickly taking him down. Christopher gets in to it too making it a 3-1 until Dirty White Boy rushes the ring. He makes it a 2-3 but the numbers overtake him too. The 3-2 continue until…the crowd goes crazy….it gets louder and louder...coming out is…JERRY “THE KING” LAWLER!!!!! LAWLER COMES OUT AND CLEARS THE RING WITHOUT THROWING A PUNCH. Jarrett, DWB, and Lawler are standing in the ring while Dundee leads the Mafia out as we fade out.
Working on it now.
